Last Sunday was dead until 1 or 2. In 4 Sunday visits this year I've been able to knock out all coasters before 1pm. Don't forget Twisted typically opens a half hour before posted time. Sometimes Scorcher, too. They will have the rest roped til 1030.

Pics on Google maps confirms there are a few big tvs on the walls at Melt. I might have to stop by and catch the end of the game.

If you don't mind, can you post a summary of your visit with FL+ tomorrow? I'll be there for a few days next week and figure it will probably be similar crowds. We'll probably spring for FL+ at least 1 day.

I think you'll want the top tier Fast Lane. Just a few more bucks and includes the biggest rides.

El Loco ever open back up?

We had fun during our visit yesterday. Rode the gokarts a bunch. That was probably my first mouse type coaster. It made me fear for my life. Most wild mouse coasters feel like that? Those turns felt like I was going to be slung across the park.

I did the 5k this morning which was nice running around the backside and through the park. Stayed after until around 1:30. It was pretty much dead. Got in 12 rides I think and never waited more than 5 minutes. I figured it would be packed and I'd leave well before noon. Ended up being a great day.

I wasn't sure if it went here of if this was just the Fl parks. Apologies if misplaced.

New credit is almost ready. Plus, there's been a big clearing behind the mini-golf course. Fun Spot Giga???

I would agree. I bet the park is very busy. If you're interested in riding a lot, the $50 TimeSaver Unlimited will still take care of you. And you can get reserved tickets to shows and skip those lines, too.

Thunderhead currently closed. I can hear drills and hammering. Never saw the work being done. Surely it's not down all day today ...it's going to be packed.

I rode it a few times Wednesday. Not aware of it being down any significant time.

Website says ERT for members on the 23rd from Open to 3pm. I would assume it's open to all at 3 on the 23rd.

I went to check out the new section today. Things looked nice over there. Dragonflier is so quiet. Hard to hear it even standing in the queue. Nice little family coaster with nice, comfy seats.

Swung by KK on my way home from Kings Island on Sunday. Not many people there as expected. Rain shut down most rides for about 30 minutes at one point while we were there. They did keep Thunder Run going in the rain. The workers were nice. Didn't have to walk around after rides. Could hop to different seats between rides. Rode the Flyer a few times in the back without getting up. Same for Storm Chaser and Thunder Run. Spent about 3 hours there and got in a dozen rides, I think. I had read their drop tower was actually pretty good. Ended my visit there and I agree. It's a good one. I liked the fairly instant drop once you hit the top.

At one point Saturday they had 4 or 5 workers and security standing in front of Banshee. It was kind of nuts. Everyone just left stuff at the gate. Might be the norm.

prozach626 - Me and some friends going up that same time (Sat afternoon - Wed noon ish). Weather will be great. Think positive. Buddy's son is graduating HS and he's always wanted to visit CP. I watched a couple blogs from the same weekend last year. Seemed like it was fairly dead the 3 days he was there. I have a feeling Sat and Sunday might be a bit busy (race, CoastStock, BBQ fest starting) but the weekdays should be light. I'd say a FL would probably make most things walkons from what I gather. I've been to 3 CF parks this year and had FL each time. Going to be painful waiting on rides while I'm up there. Trying to decide if Sunday or Monday might be better. I'll get it one day while I'm there because I do like to ride a lot sometimes. Probably decide while we're up there. Weather, etc. Going to be fun. Decades since I've been there. Let's catch together a ride in a few weeks.

Fairly busy at the park today. Missed a Mystic Timbers lift hill evac by a couple minutes. Dang it. Otherwise, good time today. Also, rode Woodstock. They stopped us at the top of the lift hill. Employees walks up the hill and gets a cell phone from guy in the front row. Security was waiting at the exit when we returned. Think they just scolded him a bit. They should have booted him. Ride OP even told him to put it away right before we left the station. Multiple kids crying as we sat on top of the hill waiting.

Prob not bad on Wed. Schools are still in for most around here.

I like riding the drop tower just so I can get an overhead view of Thunderhead. Beautiful coaster.

Whistle Punk Express. Wasn't sure I'd fit. No one at the park so I gave it a try finally. No problems.

Don't jinx it! They appeared to be flying through construction a month or so ago. Surely it'll be ready. I hope.

I ran across a coaster event on June 22 this year. I posted a link and it was blocked. Thought it might not be allowed. I think it's my post count. It includes breakfast, lunch buffet, and evening ERT (on LR assuming it's running). One day event.
