Let me say that the day after the park closed 04 track work started and continued up till opening 05. The ride was really smooth. I swear it was. It was decent till mid season then started to decline quickly from there. So yeah, the report you got was true but it started out really great. I even got the first ride when testing was comming to end before the weights were taken off the trains. really strange ride. I was in front row and it felt so slow but I was still feeling float air and it was :shock: Glass smooth :shock: I swear! very interesting experience.

For me it is just about any new coaster. Just a little scared though. Probably due to fear of the uknown. After the first ride it is pure thrill and fun or pain depending on the coaster.

Six Flags New Orleans Fansite is reporting this sad news. Info quoted below. "reports from various individuals within the Six Flags organization that the MegaZeph, perhaps the premiere roller-coaster in Six Flags New Orleans has been damaged beyond repair by hurricane Katrina. The sources reference severe footing problems with the soils surrounding megazeph, erosion, and damage to it's infrastructure due to the flooding/standing water in the park for a month after the storm struck." At least I got my last ride on it's last operating day.

If the spot where you lay isn't too dark and hard yet why change the sheet?

Lets see, It was Sunday Labor Day weekend. I was still not officially allowed to go back home yet due to Katrina. I was at SF Fiesta. My options were to work at Fiesta or hang out at the park and ride. Hmmmm, That was a dificult decision. I spent Sunday and Monday riding coasters, eating junk food and not thinking about what I had to go home to. The last coaster I rode was the Rattler. I do know the history of Rattler and it is on the web for all to see. I so wish I could have ridden it before the changes were made. It bounces and throws you so much after the first layer of helix that it makes me laugh that the train is going so slow but yet so rough. I swear it really makes me laugh! Now isn't any ride great if it makes you laugh?!?! I dunno, The first drop,second drop and the drop into and out of the quarry wall are awesome. Thats why I ride it. O'yeah, Rattler was the last coaster I rode.

Well, Being an old man and living in New Orleans I found that you get dressed up and go to the quarter and get F'ed up and wander up and down burbon street. Not sure how that will be this year with the disaster and stuff. maybe stay home and hang with neighbors and the kids this year. Here is what i looked like last year in the quarter.

So wait, I do think putting the bed together is funny but isn't "Making the bed" kinda universal? Don't we all know what that means? If not then how do you term it? Do i need to straighten the sheets,bedspread and pillows when i get up? I would rather just make the bed. I enjoyed it thoroughly except for the part with description of superman the escape and seeing SUF.

Everyday I get up, pull the comforter forward and then it looks like this. From what i have read so far i guess my small effort has my bed more made than most?

With this one I am going to support my home park. Six Flags Under Water. My favorite wood/steel in the park is Megazeph. My favorite steel, this is a tough one since it is between the Vecoma boomerang, Arrow multi looper backwards, Wild mause or the B&M . Batman the Ride of course! MZ photo just one of a few I took. Ok, "two sets he noticed". Noticed as in seen or actually felt slow the train? It is possible there are new brakes but they may not be trims. So Robb, did he say they actually slowed the train? Or are you just as unsure as the rest of us. :?

I use to think people would think strange things if they new i liked to visit and hang out at a park once a week. So happy to know i am normal!!!! Oh the stories i could tell. But i can't. not right now anyway.

Why???? After all these years. It was fine just the way it was. It was a really fun coaster. If this is true it may just make it a boring coater now.

Hmmm, Since i puke when i spin and most flats are spin and pukes. I really like the flats flattened by the wrecking ball! Is a sky coaster or slingshot a flat? If so they are awesome! Drop rides also. I know i could take sky swatter and screamin swing but they just don't apeal to me. I want to ride the flats soooo bad. Tried taking dramamine to acomplish this but ended up sleeping for three days!

I absolutely avoid Boomerangs. Once in a while at work if a situation should warrant, I will jump on boomerang with a guest. The guests are surprised and happy for the riding partner but I leave nauseated and with headache. I like invertigos. The thing with those, as with boomers, is going through the elements one right after the other without a little break leaves me slightly dizzy and queasy at the end. Giant Inverted Boomerang For whatever reason, these scare the hell outta me and I love them for that. Rode Magic mountains and over Georgia’s and both seem to feel the same. I tend to show up at them just as they are coming up or back up so at most have only waited a few trains to ride. I will however pass them up when the wait is longer than 30 minutes which is most of the time. Since no other rides scare me and I need to choose one, I will say GIB's F Ing rock!

For me, absolutely without a doubt, Funnel Cake. Possibly topped with cherries.

Nothing special. Just me waving at you. Look how big my hands are! Not a very good photo. I don't think this represents me well. I am told i am so handsome in real time! The female bee och behind decided to scream as loud as possible non stop through the whole ride. Her BF kept saying to stop but she did not. Don't you hate when riders do that? Only person thinks it is funny is the one doing it. I don't hear as well now in my right ear. At least i have the whitest teeth in the train! Lord knows i put enough money into them! 8)
