February 14th 1998 jim and I woke up at 7am. I gave Jim a valentine card and gift. At 7:30 am Jim had a heart attack and died. This is Jim's half of a set of two rings we wore. As I always do on valentine day, I will wear Jim's ring today. This post is not meant to be sad really. It was just the way Jim wanted it to happen and it was very quick. Jim was very good to me. Happy Valentine Jim.

^ what seems to work well^ First set your pic to 640 x 480. Then save jpeg with compression to bring it to 150. This seems to work well.

"I believe the lot is being used by fema for trailers." In that photo of yours it sure looks like it. For those of us unfortunate to have to experience it, we know this as a "staging area". -

It's future is still uknown. Peeling paint and rust due to salt water. As was most of New Orleans, the whole park was eight feet under water. -

The pain level changes with the area you put it on. My shoulders and sides of my arms were no problem. My calf was a different story. It was dificult to finish it in one sitting. Bigger pieces round 6" long and 3 to 6 inches wide can take 3 to 8 hours if you do it in one sitting and can cost three to six hundred dollars. It is all relavent to how much detail, color and shading. Ok, here are mines. This piece on my right calf is original. I liked Tonya's artwork and asked her to do an original piece for me. She did four different rough scetches and out of those four, I liked this one the best. She called it a piece of jewelry Next up. The tiger. Belonged to my deceased partner. While going through his files I came across the trace for it and decided to install it on myself so it could live on for a while longer. It was an original drawing done by a popular artist in San Diego. My partner had the tail wrapped around his arm. I never did like that though so I had the tail redrawn to a normal length. Next is DAGO. Thats a derogatory term for an Italian if you didn't know. Not including the stencil this was done freehand directly on me. Now thats scary. Bella Luna. As I described what I wanted to Tanya, she sketched. We discussed it a lot afterwards and a week later it was installed. Next is Kandinsky. The Kandinsky boat was in the artist's book that they had done on someone. I expressed an interest in the boat but had to have original work added to it and tie it into bella luna to make it mine. It was done in a sureal type of drawing. This is what it became. Last and certainly least. With no explanation.

NEWS: Six Flags To Sell Frontier City
calcajun replied to Alexander Nagel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not much to sell at SFNO. The land is leased. Quite a few of the rides are leased. Everything went underwater. That’s why with the "streamline" I feel it won't come back. It did make money, but it was not an over achiever. I have come to my senses and believe it is a gonner. SIGH -

With this new "streamline" news, I am now getting the feeling, that since SFNO is already down, that it may not be rebuilt. Good thing I am going on an interview Tuesday for a position with a construction company! -
1. Videos MUST be 30 megs or less. So is this 30 megs or less after compressing? Or does the uncompressed vid need to be 30 or less?

Isn't it nice, when your pet eats then throws up directly into their food bowl? Then you don't have to clean up the carpet!

Six flags does not own the land that SFNO sits on. Where did that info come from anyway to sell astro and sfno? Astroworld was simply closed not sold. Elissa is also correct that no one in thier right mind would buy SFNO. LOL Just like i tell you i got this car from the nineth ward, it was underwater for a month, want to by it? Hell no you wouldn't buy it! Really though, where the hell did you hear that stupid RUMOR that SF was selling Astroworld and SFNO? Thats so funny!
