  1. There is a simple way which is to take a photo and drop it into some software that will automatically turn it into anaglyph. This does not work well at all and is a waste of time. especially once you see and know decent 3D The other two processes to make good anaglyph 3D. Both are a bit of a process, which is too long to describe in detail here. One is to take two photos. Each two and a half inches apart matching what each eye would see. Then you process those in software to create the 3D anaglyph. The other is to manually process a photo with software and create depth fields and apply them to a photo. As i have mentioned, both are a process. Because of the work involved, you have to like doing it . If you want decent 3D anyway.
  2. Sometimes i like to make 3D photos. These are the latest two i created. You need red/cyan 3D glasses to view these. If you, a brother or sister have Sharkboy, spykids 3D or another recent 3D movie they are most likely the right color. The two DVD's mentioned are red and cyan. You may even have some in a drawer from that 3D movie you saw at the theatre in the last few years. The ones from your americas coaster thrills 3D won't work. Remember, the glasses need to be red and cyan. red goes on left eye.
  3. Well, it is not like they will be obsolete. Some extra features that require BD-J will not be available. So it is not the end of the world as it seems from the first post. Quote from bluray website.
  4. Much better photo. Can't see the whip in that other pic. Aint she hot?!
  5. No, i meant the Poison Ivy sing that was replaced by catwomans whip sign. She was very hot and sexual.
  6. Did you see Poison Ivey? Big breast and clevage forever!
  7. Looks like she needs a whip though.
  8. about a 3 months ago i was informed that themeing would be taken from SFNO and used in other SF parks. I mentioned that i was told directly that theming was taken from SFNO Catwomans whip, and moved to Re Theme Poison Ivy. After i mentioned what i was told, i did find it rumored on another site a week or so earlier. When pictures were taken of the new sign i did a comparison photo. Quite a few locals didn't believe it was the same lettering but i felt different. Now screamscape has some new photos of the re theme which includes Catwoman. Now since i see her, i know she came from SFNO and believe most of the sign lettering and paw print also came from SFNO. Here she is attached to her drowned ride. Here she is in re themed Poison Ivy
  9. Yeah, Since you don't get airtime or float when stapled the correct term would be negative g's. Meaning you feel your weight exchange from the seat to the restraint. So anywhere you see airtime or float, just replace that with negative g's and there you have it. But ya'll knew that. Or just nit pickin ninnies.
  10. If you are the ride Operator, there is a lot more to it than that. You are the person in control with the final say that the area is clear, attendants are in safe zones, all restraints have been checked properly.Only then you make the decision to start the ride cycle. If it is a coaster you visually check the restraints as the train goes by. You are the operator. You are in control and have the final say and responsibility for guest and fellow employees safety.
  11. Just some quick advice that will work well for you. Talk to, and interact with park guests as much as possible. Your english will improve quickly and drastically. Your supervisors and managers will see this as a good thing and it will make you stand out as a park employee. Helps alleviate boredom. Or, you can be a part of the percentage that stands looking bored, tired and not wanting to be there. Not learn anything. Not do your job properly. The first choice is way better!
  12. By the way, you can win the games. You just have to know how to play them. It helps when you know someone or work at a park and can practice for free.
  13. LOL! But thats how advertising is. My fast food never looks like it does in the pictures or comercials.
  14. and i gave you a valid answer. I said it may not affect them at all. " Them " meaning any other site, on the net, with that particular content. I think you know exactly what i mean though. I will be curiously watching the site to see what happens. Which should be nothing.
  15. It is possible it may not affect them at all. The fact that you ask that specific question though, kinda feels like you are heading down a stupid imature path. Without having to explain that comment, We will see though.
  16. In 2005 while riding Batman Krypton at SFFT, at the top of the lift i heard some change roll out of someones pocket onto the seat. Apparently at the top of the vertical loop it came out the seat. Comming out of the loop at the bottom, i was hit squarely in the middle of the forehead by a coin. It hurt like hell and i had a red spot for an hour on my forehead. I aint indonesian either. I would hate to think of what would happened if it hit my eye, or was anything at all bigger like a small camera. Even if it was the smallest of camera, i would probably gone to the hospital for stitches. There is a reason cameras, phones and loose objects are not allowed no matter what size they are.
  17. Here is the photo of Lincoln Beach. I have no idea at what point of it's existence this was taken, but the coaster is clearly seen on the left. Something else you notice is the parking lot on the opposite side of Haynes Blvd. You had to walk under the road to enter the park.
  18. They actually had a coaster, not sure about other rides. It was actually more of a place to go swimming i believe, with the big public pools and the beach on the lake. I think someone posted an old photo of the coaster somewhere else. I will go check it and and if so put it here.
  19. I don't like rough coasters and didn't think The Voyage was rough
  20. Below is a link to photos of the abandoned Lincoln Beach Amusement Park in New Orleans. This page also includes a short description of it's history. Not much info on the net about this park and very little footage of it. You can see some film of this park in a local documentary produced by WYES in New Orleans. The only part of this park I ever saw was this sign. The only reason I ever knew anything about the place was one day, when I was very young, my mother and I were driving by. I either said something about the sign, or my mother just pointed out the sign and mentioned it use to be an amusement park. She did not say much more than that. Here is the site with a nice set of photos of what is, or was left of the place in more recent times. http://www.surrealcoconut.com/urban_ruins/gulf/lincoln_beach.htm
  21. I drive this 99 Trans Am. I took the decals off a little over a year ago cause i thought maybe the paint might be fading around them. It was cool. I take good care of it and still looks very awesome except solid red now. Of course it has a super awesome stereo that plays only high quality CD's and high quality lossless flac files from my IRiver H120. Yall don't know what your missing with those lossy music files. Don't even go there cause i know better!
  22. Very nice photos. The park looks great. Can't wait to visit this summer. Yay, I spelled everything real good again!
  23. Maybe not bash a ride, then ride it. Some people might actually like it. Although it might suck, I don't know, I never rode one yet. Yay, I spelled everything right! Now where is the punctuation button?
