Really what it comes down to is each parks interpretation of the "no loose article" policy in the ride manufacturer's SOP. Cedar Fair obviously chooses to err on the side of caution and take it to the extreme (maybe they lost a lawsuit in the past over something like this?).

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: glow with the show ears only work well if lots of people watching the show have them. Then it really adds to the show. Otherwise it's really no different than buying one of the generic light up toys.

I will always remember Hammerhead for having the extremely uncomfortable lap bar/harness that was a nut cruncher. I'd like to see a giant version of a Top Scan in that spot..

Queen Mary's Dark Harbor is solid again this year---their new maze is pretty good and the performers go all out.

I wish I remembered more about my Oktoberfest experience... What I do remember was that it was the best party atmosphere I had ever experienced. Thanks for the great photos!

The area is already tied to another developer and already full of non Landry chain restaurants, so that doesn't seem like a real possibility.

I have a feeling that a zombie apocalypse is going to be more enjoyable than PPP this year... But kudos to the park for sticking with the project and finally getting it done.
