  1. I don't think it was a bad rule in this case. He didn't NEED to have his legs up after he dove, so it was blatant obstruction. I don't think the umpire would have called it had he just stayed on the ground so the runner could easily get over him.
  2. I disagree about this. They are crappy bumper cars to begin with, so the space is MUCH better utilized as a Haunt maze in October IMO.
  3. That would be my guess as well. Probably tampered with something to squeeze out an extra cycle to make more money in an hour.
  4. You can still have a funny show without having to use "lowest common denominator" jokes (as I like to call them). Florida's Bill and Ted's was really good without a segment with a gay Superman...
  5. Well, I think everyone knows what obstruction is now...
  6. I hope it turns out better than Santa Kong did for USH! WDW sells itself as a vacation (especially during the holidays), so upping their seasonal offerings should only further help them bring more locals in.
  7. 2016, eh? That's also when Bob Iger will be retiring...makes you wonder if Ouimet has bigger aspirations.
  8. ^Me too. It's simplicity is what makes it brilliant IMO. Once you figure out what just happened, you can't help but laugh at how you were just fooled.
  9. The more it is discussed, the more the writer gets what he wants: publicity.
  10. I've been playing vice city on my iPhone. The helicopter mission is nearly impossible!
  11. Ultimately the writers of the article got what they wanted (attention) and backed universal into a corner where they could do no right. Do nothing? They keep whining. Acknowledge them and stand up for the product? They keep whining. Re- write the show so late into the run? Destroy all the hard work so many people already put into the show. Cancel it? Get bad pr. It was no win. At least by canceling it, it shows what damage people can do when they are irresponsible with their "voice." I'm glad the writers got criticism and universal got support.
  12. I doubt many people still buy 1-park tickets anyways.
  13. ^It was part of USH's first go around of HHN in the late 90's/early 2000's as well. Returned to HHN in 2007 as you said.
  14. Good for ghost rider is like only getting kicked in the balls once instead of numerous times. Poor ride...
  15. Exactly. They called out superman to help them fight the villains...of which general zod is! But to your flawed logic: is universal encouraging violence towards women when a male character "kills" a female character?
  16. I'll do a full review when I'm not on my phone in the airport, but in short: Winners of Hhn: resident evil and werewolf. Just below: evil dead, la Llorna, walking dead Above average, but still underwhelming: havoc Disappointment: cabin in the woods. wtf: undead Scare zones were weak. Bill and teds was great.
  17. If a huge plot point of the show wasn't about objectifying half naked women and men, making fun of celebrities with their own serious problems (drug/alcohol abuse, domestic violence, etc.), and violence in general...I'd say you guys have a point. But I respectfully disagree, since I don't think with a show like bill and teds you can one day decide there is a line that can't be crossed.
  18. Yeah. This is the town tupac was gunned down in afterall. Just shady nightclub business as usual.
  19. I definitely prefer this app to using a browser on my phone!
  20. I had no urge to visit Hawaii until this resort was announced. Hope I can afford it one day!
  21. My thoughts exactly! Shouldn't have to worry about bracing yourself if the ride is good.
  22. I agree. He's trying to open a horror themed bar too!
  23. I didn't think the show was very good to begin with (it definitely had a few great jokes though), but it's a bummer they closed it.
  24. What, the Emperor's Tombs and the Terra Cotta Warrior's were not enough? You WILL regreat it if you visit there. Just like the Great Wall, Forbidden City etc, all you can see is people and things that you can easily find in Google and Wikipedia The forbidden city was over rated (basically the same rooms over and over again), but the Great Wall was one of the most impressive "culture credits" I have seen thus far. Google and Wikipedia can't even come close to showing you the scale of the Great Wall.
  25. ^Definitely thought it was smoother than a standard boomerang. Also fits right in with Movieland's ride collection!
