The park looks absolutely great! I love the twisted mess of the wild mouse and I would love this type of combo in Canada. I love the concept of INSANE. I think that intamin has some very unique and amazing coasters. Great Trip report and I anxiously await the video!! David

Hey Theme Park Review members. I need your help! I am an elementary school teacher and my school is collecting donations for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! I have a heart problem that was pretty serious in the past, but I also know that medication was made available for me (when I needed it) because of research by organizations like the Heart and Stroke Foundation. My school has been the top fundraising school in Canada over the past 5 years. We have raised almost $100,000 in that short time. This year, our donations are down and we are looking for some help. This is where you can help. If you would like to make a donation, of any size, I have set up a safe, secure website that can accept donations. I have until lunch on Friday this week. Please visit the site below if you cna help. If you are young and do not have a credit card, you could pass this on to your parents if you wish. I thank you all in advance! David Click here to make a donation! Thanks Again! If you could leave a feedback message, I'd appreciate the support that way too!

Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread
taytig replied to OzCatter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
while this ride looks great, I am wondering why there is no tunnel? I think some of this airtime in a tunnel would be awesome! Looks like a fun ride though. David -
I think it is coming North to Canada's Wonderland. It their 30th next year. They got nothing new this year. CF likes installs every two years for major attractions. It just fits! Well, at least one can hope! David

Great pics! I think the suspended single rail looks interesting! Great report! David -
You can also get those candy bars on cruise ships.... I still vote for orlando - Hollywood - sign in one picture - Disney studios? Universal - Rip, Ride Rockit? these could be clues from the earlier pics.... I found a quote in the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit thread refers to the concept art. I still vote for Florida..... David

Well, I agree that they were in Mall of America. I think the photos tell that quite clearly. But I think they are headed to Florida. While there, they are going to do a short cruise on the Disney Wonder - hence the route 66 photo. Someone mentioned the nubmer 23 and an Island - that could be the Bahamas or maybe Castaway Cay. After that, they are off to Orlando to see the test runs of Manta - there was mention of 23 in the Manta thread is it 23 days until the opening? Just wondering. So that's my guess.!! David

Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride
taytig replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Where are the captions from the last update caption contest? I have been looking forward to reading them (and hopefully my TPR bag-o-crap)! Just wondering! Terminator is still looking great! Hopefully my next trip to California will include a stop at SFMM - it's only been 11 years since my last visit! -
Fair/Carnival Midways at night Photos
taytig replied to taytig's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for the help. I did a quick search and the photos I came up with weren't exactly what I was looking for, but the links provided will do the trick. Thanks again everyone - I can always count on TPR!!! -
I am wondering if anyone has any good midway at night photos. I need them for my Class (I am a teacher). I have searched google, but all the images are low resolution or feature a single ride. If anyone could help, please post a couple of photos or PM me for my email to send higher res photos. Thanks TPR!! David

Great Wolf Lodge: Mason, Ohio
taytig replied to spaceace12's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't been to the GWL in Mason - but Itake my family to the one in Niagara Falls 2 times a year. It is great! Food is expensive though. Eating outside of resorts like this is always a good idea if you are trying to save money. As for lines - they are dependent on occupancy. We went on Dec 23rd and the resort was less than half full. We literally didn't wait for anything! I hope you enjoy GWL as much as my family does!! -

I don't post too often - but the chance to get a bag 'o crap - gotta give it a try!! Just sent my post! -
I don't know what it is or where it is going, but could it be for Canada's Wonderland? I know they just got Behemoth, but they are also celebrated 30 years in 2010. Maybe it's for them! They could start construction soon and have track installed starting in the late summer or in early fall. Problably not - but I can be hopeful! David

I actually think Marineland would be a great fit. Think about it - they only have 1 large coaster and they have plenty of flat land. It would be a huge draw for the park and would give something else to do in the park. Personally, I'd rather see a water park at Marineland, but they could add any of the coasters from HRP and they would fit quite nicely. They wouldn't have to worry about themeing - they don't do well in that department anyway. Just think - you could hear "Happiness is.......Marineland as you go through the loop!!"

Robb - I noticed very little difference between the 2 videos. The larger appeared a bit clearer, but I thought they were both pretty good. I noticed a bit of stuttering when I played the large file full screen, but only at the beginning and it was very slight. Overall - no complaints! my speeds - Download - 9255kbps Upload - 576 kbps. Hope this helps!! David

Great Pictures - I'd love to see more of the castle all lit up. Good PTR!! -
I paid $0.81 today - but that was per litre here in Canada - Works out to about $3.06 a gallon in CDN Dollars US equivalent - $2.50 ish. Wow I wish our priced aligned with you west coast people! Even that would be better!
