I thought I'd post this for the CP fanboys. I have to say, that prior to Maverick - Wicked Twister did rate as one of the best coasters (at CP) for me. Millie was the top, then WT. Anyways, I wish they could put more rides along the beach - I like the views from this side of the park better. Too bad the construction/2010 project is on the other side of the park....Not that there is room on the beachfront.... David

I am actually using a publishing software, not photo editing software. Just a matter of putting things together and finding the right style of pic and creating the graphics.... David

taller and faster does not equal a better ride. Maverick is small by comparison to Beemers, but is a much better ride. While I like Beemers, I'd rather have a shorter twistier track than a bunch of airtime hills. I love airtime, but after a few rides, the excitement is gone. Give me something with a lot of twists and turns and I believe you have a better ride. David

I really enjoyed this coaster when I visited. It will be a big loss to the park. Having kids who are just getting started into liking coasters, this would be a perfect start - I hope that they do replace it with something kids can enjoy. I know that there are many coaster enthusaist who want a bigger, faster, more intense ride, but as a theme park enthusaist, I think that there is more to a good park than big coasters. The terrain of the BBW and it's family appeal make it a perfect coasters for a park where there aren't many other family coasters. I will miss this ride... David

I find it interesting that no one in the pic seems to notice. I have been in a few close calls with a Tornado and I know that if I was that close again, I'd be seeking shelter. They are so unpredictable and can develop in size and strength very quickly. I'm glad there were no injuries ,if that had crossed the theme park directly it could have been devestating..... David

I really dislike the restraints on a typical boomerang, but I have yet to experience the new style. My second worst would be togo standup restraints - the often get adjusted wrong and just hurt! I like the restraints on Millenium Force and B&M hypers like Behemoth. No body has commented on X-Car restraints......what are they like? David

I don't think TPR should change at all. I think it works great and Robb and the crew at TPR should be congratulated at keeping such a great site up and running instead of being told they need to upgrade. I have been visiting TPR for at least 9 years now and think Robb has done an amazing Job. As for pics - you can also edit the size of pics using the photo editor in MSOFFICE if you choose. It is very easy to do and it takes no time at all. As for photo trip reports, do a search and find Robb's Guide to posting a good TR - it is what makes people read them and respond. David

as I was scrolling through the photos I was thinking - "where is Robb recreating that timeless Elissa Pic." And then BAM, there it was. I believe we have a new classic pic! I vote for # 8! David

I disagree. While it might save money, this is not what Disney is about. I believe Walt Himself said.... "You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the orld, but it requires people to make the dream a reality." I love the fact that people continue to make Disney a very magical place!! David

I watched that video with tears in my eyes. THis is so tragic. What a great cast member and he wore the disney name tag very well and with pride. Disney was lucky to have a cast member like him. Even without knowing him, he will be missed. David

I personally think this looks like a lot of fun! It doesn't appear to be too intense, but I don't think a great coaster has to have extreme G forces or be the highest and fastest. I think something that is fun and different is exactly what Universal needs. David
