  1. WHY?! Why would they let ACE'rs be a part of the opening. The video was really great except for all of the silly cherring people and the ACE speeches.
  2. Once again, he always locks threads for a reason. He locked yours and gave you a valid reason, so I don't see why you keep bashing him. I mean, you are 18. Show some maturity.
  3. I can't wait to come out to VA in August (drop off my brother at W&M for college) and ride this thing. Being out there when it was testing was so frustrating and awesome at the same time!
  4. www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33712&highlight=dream He goes on a rampage every time he logs on. There's a difference between your thread and this one. This thread asked a question to have it be more than just an offhand comment. Yours was a statement and provided nothing for group discussion. Besides, if you had searched, you would have found the dream thread in existence, and could have easily posted it in there. I don't see why you have some kind of personal vendetta against Wes. His job is to keep the forums clean of any topics that don't need to be there. That's what he did, and I don't see why you care so much. I've had topics locked before, but I didn't say anything about the person that locked them. In fact, I saw their point in locking them.
  5. Lift Height: 83' Drop Height: 77' Drops: 5 Length: 2650' Speed: 47 These are as of now, and can change before I sumbit it.
  6. ^I had nothing better to do... How does it look?
  7. Well then! My general layout is finished, so check it out:
  8. ^I'd assume this means simply for drops, not elevation change. EDIT: Can we post progrss pics in here?
  9. If you are really into 3Ds, go download Anim8or. (www.anim8or.com). Take the eggplant tutorial on the website to really get a hang of things and then go crazy. You can do all of the signs just like on Object Creator, but you have a lot more freedom to do things. PM me if you have any questions. Your coaster looks really awesome!
  10. Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. ^^That's a good point. I'll add some 3Ds facing the other direction to make the lift neat for both sides.
  11. Shirt and tie for prom.
  12. Test as you go along! You want to make sure that your train will go through the circuit, otherwise it's all for naught.
  13. UPDATE! (Sorry for the double post) The 3D's for the lifthill are complete. It's meant to look like one of those slammers, but it launches a rocket rather than a car. This is the entire lift: The slammer: The rocket and the rest of the lift:
  14. Wait. Since when can no one stand -.7 g's with a shoulder restraint? That was the only problem I really had with his post. Other than that, if he wanted to offer criticism of the ride, he could have done it in a more mature way. That's basically what is in the TOS anyway for TPR. I know I wasn't replying in the best way either, but I just wanted to point out that the G's were fine on the one element. I wasn't saying he was completely wrong, just on the one thing that he overexagerated. Anyway, by no means was this coaster amazing. I would disagree with that 100%. But that's not to say it isn't bad. The pull-outs were too long, it pumped, it had some big jerks, but for a coaster from a beginner, it isn't awful. He needs to work on it a lot, but he's on his way to being really good at the game.
  15. Okay, you weren't being a jerk, just a little rude. Sorry, I didn't mean to over exagerate.
  16. ^Sorry, I used the wrong number. It's actually -.7, as seen here:
  17. It looks interesting. Could we see a POV?
  18. All of the stars are linked, and they can hold each other up realistically. EDIT: The ride's sign has been finished. The 3Ds are taking time to make, so there aren't that many right now.
  19. Wow. Because hitting -.7 g's is UNHEARD of on any B&M coaster with a shoulder restraint. Yeah, I'll believe that in a million years. Give the guy a break. First, it was a very different coaster. 2nd, did you have to be so rude? I mean, honestly. Just because his coaster isn't the most real doesn't make it so awful that you have to be a critical jerk about it. It was a fun ride, so I don't see how you can complain so much. Not everyone is a custom supports whiz. He is obviously newer to the game and so he has to work on his supports. Wathell: Try not to use so many pre-fab elements. Be creative and make them yourself! You'll find that many times you can do better than them. Also, work on making transitions smoother. All you have to do is pull the adjusters out a bit more. You can also make some of your pull-outs tighter. Good ride, just start working on the little things a bit more!
  20. For massive stations like this Superman one, try to not have one wall going straight up. Stagger the heights of each block for 2-3 squares in before having everything be the same. It gives a more thematic look to everything.
  21. Jesus Christ be freaking patient! You guys sound like little whiny kids "POV! POV! POV!" Give the guy some time. he doesn't have to make one for you, so just be thankful that he is...
  22. That was just ugly.
  23. You first need to download No Limits Track Packager, which can be found here. Then you download the file and open it in the track packager when it asks you where to open the file. Install it into track packager and say that you want to ride.
