  1. You realize that anyone can just buy one of these if they are rich enough. Go look at their site...
  2. ^It is more like Turtle Talk, as most of it will be done live. I think that if they try hard enough, it can be great. I mean, I do improv at my high school. We can't use any profanity or any sexual innuendos and stuff, yet somehow our shows are absolutely hilarious. If Disney does it right, it can be a great show.
  3. ^6??! Are you JOKING? I have 2 TV's, and one is from before I was born...
  4. ^Did they ever sue for that?
  5. Best class trip I ever went on. You will honestly love every second of it.
  6. The technical difficulties for Finding Nemo were probably due to the fact that it is sponsored by McDonalds. Great to see that the P&P event is a huge hit! It's always nice when Disney can do something that well. Glad you guys had a good time.
  7. Look at the SFMM thread. See the proof that we can complain about workers there because they really are terrible. As you yourself said in the same post that I am quoting, one good cast member does not make up for the bad ones. Why nopt apply that to the crappy workers at SFMM. We know there are some very good employees at SFMM, many of which post on these very boards. But there are some unbelievably bad ones, and we have a right to compalin about them, as we are paying customers.
  8. Proof that dress codes are bad: Millions of stupid puinishments for being "out of dress code". Our school gets money from Lands End when peeps buy the uniform. In other words, if it isn't Lands End, Detention (for everything but a jacket). Sweartshirts must be Chaminade ONLY. Doesn't matter if it is the exact same color, it means detention. A Saturday detention if the bottoms of jeans are frayed (when we get to wear jeans a tall). It provides a useless distraction for the deans. Half the time they are too busy looking for dress code infractions to notice anything bad happening. They are expensive. I look like a clone. It has spawned so many useless rules that it really isn't funny at all. Then, there was middle school, where we really had NO fredom at all: Hair can't touch the collar (guys only). No big belt buckles. Shirts must be tucked in. Shoes must be white, grey, or black. No adding anything that might make the uniform look somewhat stylish. School sweatshirts only. And so on. Basically, uniforms spawn so many unecessary rules and punishments that they hurt more than they help. Yes, some idiot girls would dress slutty and some very stuipid guys would sag so low that they should be wearing shorts and not pants, but the smart ones will dress like normal people. Besides, there would be less friction over clothes among deans and students.
  9. Michael Jackson don't touch me!
  10. ^Please, please just stop. It was funny before the ride was announced. Now, it really is just stupid.
  11. I don't see any park that ruly offers a better family experience than Disneyland. I don't mean to attack you, but can you honestly compare Disneyland to SFMM? No, it just isn't right. I mean, looking at attendance figures alone, it's pretty plain that Disney has the better park. Should they charge that much? No, not really, but you quoted the wrong price anyway, as regular tickets to DL are still 63 dollars. Hmmn. Let's compare to the 60 for SFMM. I think you have no argument whatsoever. 63 Dollars for a ticket to DL vs. 60 for a ticket to SFMM...
  12. ^There's probably a lot to the drop that is hidden by the trees. I mean Sheikra's 2nd drop is into a tunnel, so I'd assume the same will be for Griffon.
  13. ^Southerners happened.
  14. ^That sucks. Goldeneye had to be the greatest FPS ever. I mean, it really changed that genre.
  15. If Nintendo would just remake Goldeneye for the Wii there really would be no contest whatsoever.
  16. There already are animals at SFMM... They have a petting zoo and little chickens that you can almost run over on Granny Grand Prix. I honestly don't see how some of these parks can become "three-pronged" like SFDK. I mean, most of them don't have the same setup as SFDK.
  17. I'm gald he did this. I think it's a really great thing for a site like Screamscape to have, as it is one of the better coaster news sites (yes, there are false rumors, but aren't there on every coaster site?) and he does a really great job of keeping things up-to-date. It'll be nice to really hear his opinons, rather than only get one sentence of them crammed in with all of the information. I think this would also be a great idea for TPR. I think blogs can be really refreshing and they can offer a lot of really great insight into things.
  18. ^But by Six Flags?! I mean, if Universal or Disney did it, it would be amazing. Just not Six Flags.
  19. So your saying Talon, Patriot, Renegade, Xcellerator, Steel Vemon, Sierra Sidewinder, and Maverick are not good rides? I think most people would disagree with you. Also you also must realize, a mediocre B&M beats 75% of steel coasters in existence. Since when did B&M make these rides? And a mediocre B&M does not beat 75% of the steel coasters in existence. There's every single Intamin, Maurer, Vekoma (yes, they do make some good rides. EE, for one), Arrow (so long as you are above the restraints), Gerstlauer, Giovanola, and Premier. I know you were just trying to make a point, but it wasn't a very valid one.
  20. Got Cars on DVD and reminded myself why Pixar is the greatest animation studio ever. I mean, they're 7 for 7 with hits... Anyway, Cars: I love this whole movie. What astounds me is that Pixar can come up with so many stories and none of them are similar in any way! 9/10
  21. I don't understand why Nitro does so well. It honestly did nothing for me at all. I found AP to be better in every way (setting, airtime, etc.). Oh well. Still, looks like I really need to get out to SF:NE soon.
  22. ^^^^That is my MySpace page right now! (Well, Guido is my picture, Cars is my background) Pit Stop? Pit Stop!
  23. ^At least it doesn't have a tophat and nothing else.
  24. I love how all the people who got mad thought that he had a disability. Not everyone that acts stupid has a mental problem.... ^LOL! Flashback to the Make Love, Not Warcraft episode of South Park.
  25. ^^Yes, it is ironic, but most of us on here aren't obsessed with coasters that much. Personally, I just love them. I don't love them to the point of riding one 20,000 times (I'd get bored by about 1,000), and that is what I find off. I mean, this guy literally does NOTHING but hang around Knotts and ride Xcellerator. Isn't that more than a bit creepy??
