  1. Wow, I probably saw all of 3 seconds of that footage...... believe me, 3 seconds too many (just too hot to handle!).
  2. Don't forget about the Peoplemover (including the Superspeed Tunner). And while we're at it, let's throw in America Sings.
  3. Wow, it's been 3 1/2 years since I've been to SFMM and I honestly don't miss it (I live an hour away). Oh well, hope you have fun. Looking forward to your TR and pictures (those are always fun!).
  4. My first coaster was pro'bly the Matterhorn at Disneyland when I was maybe 3 or 4. I am about 6 month away from the 1/4 century mark (yay).
  5. Even though Knott's is closer, I grew up with Disneyland (18 miles away). BTW, the new fireworks show kicks major heiny.
  6. Everything (yes, even country!) What time is it in your part of the world?
  7. I have no idea what this rubbish means, but it's weird and I like weird. 8/10
  8. Back from Chi-town (woo-hoo!) and about to start a new job on Monday! A. "L.A. never looked so good" G.
  9. Great, thanks for the info. I'll have to look some up next time I'm at Amoeba. Do you know if they still show Ultimate Guide on syndication? A. "sorry for the late response" G.
  10. Hey Elissa, I understand you were in a roller coaster special on tv a while back. You wouldn't happen to know if it's available on VHS or DVD, would you? And if you do, how can I get a copy? Thanks.
  11. I was wondering if anyone out there has actually ridden a donkey? If so, when and where? Is there an interesting story attached to that experience? I rode one down south (of the border) back in '93. My cousins and I took a "burro" along a trail where an Aztec woman appears in front of you, warning travelers of the dangerous path. Along this path we came across a well where a "weeping woman" cries for her children and crossed over a river inhabited by witches.... Needless to say, we didn't see anything, but you gotta love a country with creepy a** ghost stories (it's great to be Me-hi-can).
  12. I was on the Track team and Cross Country team in high school and was an avid runner throughout college until a knee injury three years ago :crying: ...... now, I swim.
  13. I would also have to vote for Ninja at SFMM. That thing seems to fade more and more while other coasters in the park are kept looking fresh! Too bad, because it's still a decent ride.
  14. Nicely landscaped grounds, but I feel that Christianity is deeply rooted into my everyday life already (why pay $30 when I can go to church for free?). This is a huge part of my reality, and isn't a theme park supposed to be an escape from reality?
  15. Surprisingly, I've never been paid salary, which is the norm in my field (I, too, plead the fifth).
  16. You are definitely lucky. I may never see that type of security in my field (freelance designer). I had to pay taxes in the quadruple digits last year . But at least I can afford a car (it's all about sexy Corollas).
  17. Every time I try to talk to someone it's "sorry this" and "forgive me that" and "I'm not worthy" Evil Dead 2
  18. I'm not terrified of spiders, but i do have this very vivid image of a freakishly hairy spider the size of my hand dropping on my lap from underneath the table as I'm eating dinner.... that image just haunts me!
