  1. Koto - Dragon's Legend
  2. Thanks a lot for the comments everyone! The Norwegian loop, pretzel thing is quite cool and fun, but not that intense or anything and the corkscrew, is just a 'regular' corkscrew, doesn't feel anything special really. And.. Dave shush! ^^ Tom: yeah, I hope to see you here sometime ! -- Here's the last update, there's not many park photos, due to how things planned out, this update will be quite like the first one I am afraid. Still, enjoy! Rice and pork! This update just needed a picture of food. and, yeah now at last, thanks for reading! Surprise! sorry, just remembered these, UlRICEHAMn, hmm... Back in Finland! That was quick! Thanks for reading! In Stockholm. The bending lamp, ready to make his move. -Come on plane, come a bit closer and I'll back up my upper body and crash the plane, Mwahhahaa! Just to try and give you a bad-onesided picture of Sweden, I'll post yet another farm-picture. This was slightly spooky. It says Welcome here, Welcome home, on the structure and that's my home town, not kidding!! Seriously. Intamin? No, Intakan, I almost thought I found their secret HQ. There's two credits in here, a Schwarzkopf Jet Star and Big Apple, lol. So, according to their site on the web there are individual tickets for rides and a wristband. So I noticed gates in to the park and it turns out that you have to pay 150kr (21$) just to get in (there's a big zoo in there) and extra for the rides, it would've cost too much, barely worth the money, so we drove away. A 3-D theatre seen from outside the park. Here we are at Parken Zoo for 1hr max, the substitute for Gröna Lund, as they had Tall-ship races competition just below the park and expected about a million people to the city for that weekend!! No , it was a limestone transportation thing. What? a chairlift in the middle of nowhere?? Bye Bye Baldair! The park was still open for 3 hours, and I would've had time to get there anytime within the next week from my grandparents place 80 miles, although I wanted to go to Gröna Lund instead, as I haven't been there. Wait! It's Liseberg and Lisejoebanana-ride and the new "swings". Sorry, blurry picture. Hello, I'm Mr. Guardrail, I feel lonely because no-one hangs their clothes on me. Triangular shapes approaching! Math-freaks, come on get your calculators ready for counting does angles! It was nice looking. I know these captions suck, but my imagination has vanished. A village with some castle ruins on a hill. By the way, we drove past by the way, we're going back to Sweden. Credits! A look at the thing further away. There was lots of statue credits to be had. There was this pole of people-statue. A small look at the park. Baahh!! This pissed-off kid was in a huge park, with many other statues. Looking down towards the centre of the city. The Royal Castle. After the park we got in to the city, Oslo and this is their highest building, a hotel.
  3. That was a nice TR and quite unique as well, seeing as if the park's just open two days a year, I wonder if there are any other parks that does that? Still it was cool to see that you could have a good time there!
  4. ^that's is good. First of all, the legal drinking age is 18 in Finland. I haven't had any ales, stouts yet, I'm going through lager-beers first, so far my favourite is Heineken, followed by Carlsberg and Karhu in Finland (Lapin Kulta the only Finnish export beer I know, is almost as good imo) also Lindeman's Kriek Cherry and Apple are also really tasty, but I can't (read:don't) rate them along the other beers because of their fruityness.
  5. Great photos! Looks like you enjoyed yourselves, which is always good. Robb looks like a creepy doll on Racer btw. are you the lead-singer in the band? Anyway, I had not seen so much of Kennywood before, thanks.
  6. ^Thanks a lot for your comment, I highly appreciate it, as it seems no-one else likes this PTR... and yeah it was expensive in Norway, like 11€ for a normal size pizza in an out of town, scrubby pizzeria, but however it must be nice for you Norwegians when everything is so cheap abroad (in most countries anyway). Now, onto some Tusenfryd photos. With this shot (I know that the text ruins it, sorry), I end this update, thanks for reading! Weee!!! "and now for something completely different" Speeding up a bit. aaahh... launch aaahhh... cool element Is it just me or does that clown-tent ruin the beautiful carousel. Hello Brits! My meal which I shouldn't have had, costed in euros about 9€, or 12$ funny thing's the soda would've costed about 4€ had I bought in a mug, but there were vending machines, from which you got it for 2.5€ Rats throwing up, monkeys pooing, ducks burping, in other words, Bonbon-candy. Right click, Save As, Print and you have an "not-quite" complete chessboard or an emo-flag. Rock burger!, Rock! ...appeared to be plush turtles. Local delicacies... Plain Plane ride. Ooaehwahehhaa!! Rogaine didn't work for me, now I'll wave this stick until it worns out and then I'll take a new one and continue, oogghh. The cat's rack with Simpson prizes and Thundercoaster trying to hide behind the stall. The most boring flume I've been on. Brain cooler, with a smashing name and price. Fruity-man! The water fountains did only slightly wet a few people of the ride, I didn't get a drop. Roll-Over, which I hope could roll over and die, really make me feel nauseous and crushed my balls twice, ugh. Japp Space Shot, named after yummy Japp chocolatebars. A western ghost-town in Norway, thank the Vikings for it. Splash! Seamonster:-bah, I'm tired of this water, why can't they give me some Lucozade instead. Oh, isn't it sad. The posh sea-monster's dad got a crush and got crushed by this humongous hill and now he's body is a walk-through ride. Airtime! Life tastes good Coca-Cola coaster. Watch out for that rock! Oh really?? [insert a sophisticated Brit- voice here] A train on the brakes. It was still really good, actually I think in my top5 woodie-list after the best ride I got on it, however the worst ride in the back was really different and worse. Thundercoaster! It had been raining on the way to the park, but it stopped when we got there, well I would've hoped it had continue, as from what I've heard it's a lot better in the rain. Loopen's loop, it's a Vekoma Whirlwind with a loop instead of the first corkscrew, it wasn't too bad. It was a really good ride, the OTSR hurt a bit on the airtime 2nd hill, but that's everything I could complain about. Straight on to Speed Monster, as you can see the queue was short, only around 10 minutes. Here is Tusenfryd's entrance and a Norwegian unique, pretzel mmm... loop. This is how he (it) got killed. Death of Balder. This was a sad sign in Oslo (you'll see a bit more of the city in the next update).
  7. It was good to see some photos of these parks as I haven't seen that much of them (apart from SFNE). Many really good photos, funny captions all in all great TR! Also the lights on Yankee Cannonball look really nice in the night.
  8. Many great photos and good to hear that you've had fun on your trip!, ^shame about the food and well... Deja Vu. I've enjoyed this TR, nice work
  9. Hello! , sorry for bothering again (not, really) here's some photos from my trip from home to Sweden and Norway in July this year. While most of them are non-park pics, there'll be photos in all of the 3 updates with at least some park photos in them, so I think this topic belongs here, but if not, mods, feel free to move this to Random. So, here we go: Woo! Tusenfryd!! The park had closed when we drove by, well we weren't going there anyway that day, but later of course. To be more precise in the next update. Thanks for reading. Wait! What's that? I've never seen such a hot chimney. On the way to Oslo in Norway, we drove through 3 toll 'plazas' had to pay 20NOK each time, that's about 3.5$ or 2.5€, 1.7£, 139 Indian rupee's, anyone else? Here we are in Norway or Norge or... wait a typo? hahahaa... Seriously, there's two different official Norwegian languages. Niiice. Yay, approaching new city and country credit. Strömstad, translated to Current City (as in electricity or water), the last Swedish city before Norway, it was quite a tourist place. Huge marshmallows taking a rest, collecting some energy under the cloudy tilted sky. It was a part of Axels funfair collection. Coca-Cola spinning cups through the bumper cars. The closest you could call a credit, ok some people would call that 3 credits, but let's move on right? This was their biggest ride. Planet Hollywood the game arcade. On the way to Norway we stopped for a café in this town Trollhättan and they surprisingly had a fun fair there, although closed at 11:30 am. Some farmhouses and cows? or inflatable king-size sheep, you decide. Willy's shape. Hmm.. what could it be? Ok, if anyone is tired of my crap-jokes, I'll just say that... Boo! No but, Willy:s is a supermarket and Shape. is a house interior shop, happy? Air Blow Gun Short, My Name Tarzan A castle ruin at sunset, Sweden's 2nd largest lake, Vättern is truly enjoying it. On the highway, before the sunset. You can see a bit of Stockholm here, Gröna Lund is somewhere there behind towards the left. Some industrial pipelines... wait, pipeline? Coaster reference! Everyone cheer! ok that was lame, I apologize.. Pipe.. sorry. A blurry fart. Some trees THROUGH The Island of THE dead TREES! Nice summerhouses and erect poles by the sea. Of course you have to have some Swedish meatballs when you're going to Sweden. OMG! I can see Gröna Lund's drop tower from here! Some slotty slots, I think I won 1.2€ in total, Wohoo!! ...and played with 1.4€ Oh yeah and look to left Wild Thing!, A Coaster reference ! The cabin, luckily I didn't have cabin fever nor haven't watch cabin fever. This just a random cruise-ship they're building here, you know two Royal Caribbean Cruise ships, have been made here. Here it is, the almighty SeaWind Line!! with just 1 restaurant/cafe, 1 shop, 1 bar opposed to Silja's more than 6 and 6 and 3, but hey! this is a lot cheaper! but hey! but hey! A Silja-Line ship to Sweden, although we didn't go on it. Turku's middle-age castle and OMG! a skycoaster! al right I'm joking, but you needed some action in here, right? RIGHT?? Nice looking house. Mmm... fresh donut. This is Turku, Finland's 3rd largest city, just bigger than Tampere, they should have a park here, ok they have Moomin world quite nearby, but it doesn't count. Drill in there! YEAH!! ok, why did I take this picture?? A landscape photo, A boring caption. Yay! for yellow triangular poles. Had a semi-crappy breakfast here. That was the view, when I was awake for 10 seconds. Really there's just like fields, meadows and some farmhouses, nothing special. Needed something to properly wake me up at 5:30 in the morning so I had some spam.
  10. That was new, different and pure goodness Thanks for the photos, looking forward for more.
  11. Lots of great photos, an awesome TR so far! yeah, the Burg Falkenstein (sp?) darkride at Holiday Park is classic. Oh and btw. whereabout is the new Star Flyer in the park? Good Job Jeff!
  12. My real name is Tommi. I don't remember if there was a registered user already with that screen name, but however I thought it would be cool to throw a ö in there and the -oh, well I don't know really, where that came from . I don't really like this screen name as much as I did when I joined, but meh.

I think my sister (2 years younger) owns more than I
  14. ^yeah and thanks for the comment. So here's my last update, Parque Warner Bros. Madrid and a few Madrid photos: Last view of the airport before heading home. Thanks for reading and comments and thousands of thanks for everyone on the trip, you're all totally awesome! My breakfast, why can't we have proper chocolate milk in Finland, we have like choco milk of soybeans and of oat and cocoa milk, but no real chocolate milk, boo! anyways, it was good. Next day in the airport. The Plaza Mayor square, right near my "home". Madrid street. A statue of Jesus on the way back towards the city, we saw this on the day before when going to the last park and back. By this time I had went to a shopping outlet, which was closed, although it said everywhere it was open, so I had to spend 55 mins. there (wait for bus) and went to eat as there were open restaurants, this was my authentic spanish meal, btw. there were free refills. A building close to the museum. by this time I had dropped my luggage at the hotel and got here to Museo Nacional de Prado art museum, it was Sunday=free entry, so I spent about two hours there, it was nice. A metro train, but on another station, don't remember the name of this one, it could be Mar de Cristal, not sure. Campo de la Naciones metro-station. Looking down on the avenue beside the hotel. By now, about half of the group were flying to Germany and about rest of the group had flown home, I still had this extra day to spend. Bye Bye only Giant Inverter Boomerang credit, I've got. Scooby Do Shooting Dark Ride was ok. The water tower could've spared a few drops though on this hot hot day. I liked the look of this park. Batman La Fuga! My first Batman, kind of disappointing. In the Batman-queue, with one guy queueing in the single plastic dummy rider-queue. Some cool and "dirty" themeing. Coaster Express!! I thought it was al right in the 2nd row, 2nd last row was much worse though, still there was two airtime hills! A random wild west house. Tom and Jerry's picnic coaster. I really liked the ride, smoother than I expected and quite fun. Stunt Fall's OPEN Loop, woo! Superman's building and part of Batman. The triple tower and some themeing. After a 45-minutes or so- bus ride we arrive at this park in the desert.
  15. I've never seen anything from this park apart from the rcdb.com pics, so it was great to see some more. Nice photos and yay for the yellow hat crazyness, and overall good job! I wonder if Zamperla is going to build more of their LSM launch coasters after this one.
  16. ^yeah, the sudden rocking of the car at the top was quite shocking! I'm all good, thanks. I hope you're also doing well. Here's some more photos: Back in Madrid, there was a wedding (pre?) party just below mine and Dave W's room. Last update will come soon, Thanks for reading! Hi there! A food shot for you. The free lunch's dessert. Wohoo! TPR ride takeover! Retarded yellow hat club warning! I actually quite enjoyed this, it's my favourite SLC so far (well out of 3), though I only rode it once, on the 2nd or 3rd row. Cool gate. After Hurakan Condor this felt lame, but nice themeing though. Inferno, not yet opened credit , luckily I recently finally got the sister credit. (more of that in another PTR) Looking down on Magnus Collosus, my least favourite of the three woodies on the trip. Looking down at Benidorm's high-rise buildings. This park was also nicely themed. Synkope, I was slightly disappointed in this, still it was quite good. Whoa, and we're in Egypt. sorry for the bad focus, who cares, it was a bad hotel anyway. A nice-looking hotel rising out of the shopping street. Benidorm. Eww.. this was in a mini market. yes that's a lizard, at least I wouldn't like to drink anything from a bottle that's got a dead lizard floating in it *shudders*. Benidorm beach-side walk. Robb got the train all for himself. James probably looking at all the photos he took of Draky. Draky!! The real as in "REAL" E.T. the ride. There was a bunch of kiddie rides, though I didn't expect that much either. New park! and credit! The cool-roundabout globe structure. There you can see Terra Mítica in the distance. Then we were on the bus to Benidorm. Bye Bye buffet breakfast/dinner place and bar and it's outdoor chairs and tables. You too, great drop tower. Bye, Bye Dragon Khan. The waiting for us to get on the ride, was long, but eventually we got 2 rides per person, which was all right, I guess. Barrels, strange dummies and wine-'bushes', can't mean anything else than Baco.
  17. Sunny, clear skies, 79F (27 degrees C ) warm.
  18. ^Miss you too Ron, I was mostly laughing at your jokes, but ok then, I have to admit a little little bit because of sillyness, but that was good sillyness, if you know what I'm talking about, hehe. Anyway, hope to see you again within a few years. I took surprisingly few photos at PortAventura, which I'm a bit disappointed of, but Here's some photos: The glorious name of the café/restaurant in the station that we ate in before taking the train back to Port Aventura. Thanks for reading, more photos will come soon. Another view of the master-piece. the Sagrada Familia cathedral!, which was amazing!, I wonder when they'll finish it though. I would've liked to see some other of Gaudi's buildings and the Parc Güell, and Nou Camp, F.C. Barcelona's stadium, but didn't have time. Met or more like ran into DeKalb and Geert and walked around a tiny bit with them until we went to see... After riding the Skycoaster type of ride, I rushed down and went on to the funicular down towards Barcelona. There we go into the bushes. The wagon on the cool Hillraiser...-thing Big Mike, Carl and Larry and C:O on the plane ride. Oh right a boy was just doing his hair... wait... TPR yay!! Hurakan Co... oh it's just Hurakan. Let's zoom in a bit. Top Spin, swings and the Mystery Castle thing. Nice view again. Some more houses far away. Darn! bad timing. Ed's right eye and Dave taking a photo from the Bucket ride of Death. The nice-looking church right by the park. That's a bit better. Next morning on the bus to Tibidabodoo, a nice view, which got even better and better the higher we (bus) climbed. and It was night again. Spooky... Airtime! on the Double Drop, on Tutuki Splash, that was a good ride, except the 'themeing' inside tunnels was a bit too realistic and modern imo. Next morning Tomahawk time! (I don't understand why I didn't take any photos of Stampida.) Fireworks! Night has come and it's time for the show. There she sweeps over the lake. Dave looks excited and yeah it was good to see the ride open. SPOILER SHOT! This instruments were used in the new Saw film dating back to Jigsaw's day's as a sheriff in a ghost town. Your regular wine-making machine, for ordering go to furiusbacondrunkmonkieswine.com Good looking Western themeing. Hello there! Aaah...Hurakan Condom..oops Condor. Nice looking China and Khan's entrance roof building. No, it's Dragon Khan and it's Cobra roll, just shame they hadn't any cinnamon rolls they would've been quite enjoyable too. What's that behind the trees? Insect swarm? A small waterfall in Polynesia. Then it was time for Tami-Tami. But, why did you have to be closed? Any park's that have dummies hugging supports and hammers sticking out of their a$$ as themeing are fine by me! Gotta' love the furious bacon themeing. Stampida, some water-slides and ...some lamps in the forest Nice view from the room balcony, shame I never 'had time' to try the pool or look around there some more. Nice landscape.
  19. Thanks for the replies guys ^^^ Tottenham is a good team, I like their way of playing, but still it's not my favourite team. Here's some more: Bouncy Bouncy in the night. Classic with a big C... and big A and two big S'. Thanks for reading! More photos will come soon. The tasty dessert to end the fabulous dinner. Ed, Kyle and Miles just about to get off. Dave, Lou, Ron and Ed enjoying it. Stolen signature moves and an orange t-shirt, this one's for you Rich. Nice park, good memories. It was random, quite unique, it would've been cooler if they had run the both sides though. Dave and Nathan seemed to have enjoyed it. It was fun! It was fun! A bit of Ramses, TPR folks and the portable flume. This ride was smoother than I expected, it did even have a small pop of airtime. Some Christmas lights inside the splash boats. Really, that tunnel was so low that you could just about sit in the kiddie flume, without scratching your head, still it was a weird ride, worth experiencing. Here we are Parque Attracciones de Zaragoza! Kiddie credit similar to the one earlier that day. Windpower! (refering to an older TR by me) Anyway, just 15 minutes before Zaragoza they had this area full of windmills, there was a lot more than these. Mmm... mountains mmm... guard rails...mmm... fudge brownies.. Bull. There was like 4 of these along the way to Zaragoza, I've even seen people back here have decals of that same bull silhouette on their cars. Does anybody know what it represents, is it wine? Intamin Tornado, wasn't bad, luckily the one closer to me is better, otherwise I would've been a bit (more) sad. A bad ass monster behind bars with nice lights. Dude is that Guy!? Hello there! The slightly random monster/troll raft-ride. More planes, without snakes. Huge lollipops everywhere, seriously, I doubt anyone has ever tried to lick them, so you know what to do next you get there. Turbulencia! cool kiddie credit, it would've been better if there were snakes though and if this photo wasn't tilted. Yay! Credit whoring. Tarantula. A spider and my favourite spinning coaster, better than Dragon's Fury, but I've only ridden it once or twice, can't remember. Just kidding, Right on to the action! YEEAHH!!! Good night. Landscape! And what's that OMG! water! That was like the only lake/pond in the nature that I saw on the trip. Back on the train, a castle on a hill->Castlehill=Linnanmäki I dunno why (the place in Finland) is called that, because as far as I know, there haven't ever been a castle there. The drop, observation, do what it wants, multiple side personalities tower. More TPR and Zamperla (hi, Bruno) fun! Hello Big Mike! Disk'O! My first one, it was good, as you can see. Luckily there was ways to cool you down, like on this flume, which was quite long and had 3 bigger drops. The park was nice, although it was frickin' hot that day, around if not over +100 F, I heard! This was my secret sneaky shot, incl. a enlighten nude, (ok not really) person. ...I'd rather see the 4-D haunted cat-adventure again in here. Hated this, not as much as Walibi World's El Concussion, though, and well this had an EXTRA HELIX! But still... A pirate ship, nice themeing. A cute looking house. A nice historical wall. Here we are at: Sevilla Santa Justa Sevilla Santa Justa and ok, once more Sevilla Santa Justa. My try at a side-roof reflection photo, Hello James, John, Lou and Mary. That was a good activity to do on the train, sleeping, it was easy thanks to the trains' baby bottom smooth ride. Landscape. Nice landscape. You can quite see the beautiful "palmpark" in the station building in this shot, I apologize of it's blurriness, focus, but that makes it look more like my own 'vision' was, after less than 5 hours of sleep I think.
  20. Yeah, I actually did now about him before. I saw some of his art on a documentary about "Rainbow Finland" about 2 years ago and I saw/heard on the news last year that they opened Finland's largest exhibition of his art in the National gallery, due to it being 15 years ago since he passed away.
  21. Hello everyone! I am sorry that this TR is "a bit late", due to lack of time, being away etc. Anyway, better late than never, I guess. Here are some photos. Enjoy! Crayons and bunnies, nice combo, eh? With that I end this update, more should come tomorrow, thanks for reading! This was a weird wagon driving in. Once the 'goatey' dude let someone from the park/(audience you could say) to sit in his lap, when he told a story, and then afterwards he played lousily with his guitar with playback. Aw. Nature. Tree-huggers and Rhinos living in perfect symphony. GRRR!!! Me can't eat much bananas like me brother King Kong, I wanna split it! Banana Split! Banana Split! The African boatride was nicely themed. *insert a mix of the Psycho music and bongo bongo drums here* At the Scandinavia section: Aahh how I miss home and licking fish's 'dirty' holes. Smiling... Donkey!! At the it's a small world ripoff ride. What's that? A climbing structure for kids? And a heaven for tubular support enthusiasts, I know you're out there! It was great, one of the best coasters of the trip, as you see everyone enjoys it! Here's Abismo THROUGH THE TREES!! After having ridden G-Force at Drayton, I wasn't looking that much forward to this...But Wow! Here you go first real "trip" photo. Yay! Finally found the hotel. Estadio Vicente Calderon, Atletico Madrid's soccer stadium, I prefer them to Real Madrid, but unfortunately they didn't have a stadium tour. Tadaa! Next morning with churros, and real chocolatey hot chocolate *drools* Mmm...Häaegen Dazs ice-cream... but no it was just a theatre, named after the yummyness. Another fancy looking building. Quack! Help! Spiderman attacks me!! He had a really padded outfit, I wonder how he survived in the +90F weather. There was also a Minnie Mouse selling balloons, in the huge park, Parque El Retiro. A cool building. This was in an area called Colón, if I remember right. btw. the Metro system was really good, working in Madrid, I used it a lot. Another photo of inside the stadium. I have like 20 photos of trophy's, museum ones, other stadium photos etc., if anyone is interested. Being a big soccer fan, I had to do the stadium tour. The capacity is 80'000. Real Madrid C.F. Soccer stadium, Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Another cool older building, I think this was from the 1930's and called Banco de Espana. A nice high-rise building from the 1920's, back then it was one of the highest in the world. My first encounter with the devil. What's that over there?? Oh it's just Fernando, hanging out his laundry. Here's the Royal Palae, or Palacio Real, I went in (as it was just 3€) , it was absolutely beautiful and huge, but you couldn't take any pics inside, of course... View out of the window. Plaza Mayor is just around 70 yds to the left. Here's my room, it was nice for the price of 60€ in the very center of the city and there was free candies! My 'dinner at' 00:45 am, it was worth 7.5€ but the remote controller was a bit too crunchy. bad joke, I know. The Madrid Airport had a funky and cool interior. Mmm...Nice cuddly clouds. This was the ermm...lovely weather back home.
  22. Awesome TR Kyle!! Lovin' it. Lots of great pictures, which bring up many memories etc. Thanks a lot! Tommi" not the painter of hunky, mustachey men " of Finland.
  23. Matthew Dekay vs. Proluctors - Let The Game Begin.
  24. 5165$ I guess that's alright, or ?
  25. Speed Monster at Tusenfryd, a PTR should be up within a week, when I get home.
