Photo Work Report: The Yankee at His Job
BelizeIt replied to Token Yankee Guy's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Sorry I misunderstood the Yankee connection. I myself, was born in Providence RI, and I have many family members living in that area. In fact when two of my cousins were visiting a "Southern" state, they were given some crap (By the locals) over the fact that they were "Yankees". The bitterness still continues after all these years! -
Photo Work Report: The Yankee at His Job

Holy Crap!!! Check out all those Scratcher tickets! A whole friggin wall know less! Not to mention one that cost $30.00!, I think that the max we have here in CA is only $5.00. You must have one hell of a lot of Lotto junkies in that state. So you work the "Customer Service" desk, have you ever reached across the counter and bitched slapped some whining customer??? Or does your employer frown upon that type of behavior? By the way, since you live in the land of the Red Sox, I assume your fellow coworkers give you frequent beatings?! Go RedSox!!! -
That sounds very tasty! At our local Orange County fair this year, was a very popular food item, which was an Avocado sliced in half, then stuffed with Carna Asada and cheese, which of course was then was then deep fryed! Yum!!! When your at the Orange County Fair your "Diet" goes out the window. Another popular item of course is the famous battered soaked, deep fryed, Snickers bar! Calories and Fat be Damned!!!

Great Video!!! I don't know if you were using a tri-pod or not but you kept the camara nice and steady. Great job! Extremely well done! Some people like to complain about the $56.00 price of admission, I think it's a bargain, between great rides, incredible themeing, Fantasmic, and an unbelivable fireworks display, it's money well spent. Disneyland is the gold standard that all parks have to live up to. It is by far my favorite park in California.

Wow! Here's yet another meaningless...Uhh....I mean random trip report. I know the next report from someone should be from a park (Over several weeks), with an endless series of photographs of the grass, so we can all watch it grow! That would be great! By the way, those Sea Pak Popcorn Shrimp are tasty! I've got a box of them sitting in my freezer.

I like to play with my organ. It makes beautiful music, and looks quite impressive.

My major was Business Administration. A Business Administration degree is a good choice because it offers you a lot of job possibilities. For yourself, try to chose a major that YOU like, rather than what your parents might like. Many teenagers often go with what Mom & Pop want, and if you end up hating that major you may have to live with it, or change majors which will add to your years in college. But also be realistic, if you chose a major like Philosophy, your job choices may be limited.

I choose the drink of the Gods...Coke! Years ago I took the Pepsi Challenge, and I chose Coke. The person conducting the challenge told me that I selected incorrectly. At which point I corrected her by saying, "No I Didn't!!!" (By the way the Pepsi Challenge was rigged, the cup with the Pepsi in it was chilled, whereas the cup with the Coke was luke warm)

Well I hope that there are some additional forms of intelligent life in the Universe, other than our own. But of course there is no proof...Just speculation. Just like there is no proof of an afterlife...Just speculation. I think people like to believe in things like UFO's because we live on an amazing planet, with incredible diversity in the form of People/Animals/Plant Life Etc...that it's hard to imagine that life as it exists here couldn't also exist elsewhere. Personally I hope it does, so bring on the visitors!!!

I have to say that The Half-Blood Prince has been my favorite book to date. There was never a dull moment, each chapter kept my interest going and I couldn't wait to read on. J.K. Rowling has done a wonderful job with her Harry Potter books, I eagerly await the final installment of this incredible journey of mister Harry Potter.

Photo TR: Robb's Trip Around The World!
BelizeIt replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice hotel Robb, you work for a generous company. Since you had to spend so much time flying I assume you took full-advantage of the hotels "In Room" Deep Tissue Massage service? I hear that helps with jet-lag. Many companies often pay for those additional "services", since their executives often perform their jobs better afterwards. -
Come on Yoda, You know what you wanted to do...Kick that a..holes head in!!! Something which he deserved! He earned it!!! But your 31 years old and a father, so you have to consider what's best for your family, as opposed to what's best for yourself. In the end you made the right choice. That other driver will get what's coming to him in the VERY near future...No Doubt!!!

Police shot someone on a London undergound train
BelizeIt replied to Cllins's topic in Random, Random, Random
It's unfortunate they they didn't only wound him, because its hard to get information out of a dead person!!! But if the officers life was in any type of danger, then I would support whatever action he felt was needed to insure his survival. -
You were wise Not to pull over and confront this moron. I live in Los Angeles, and there are plently of these types of highway incidents on a regular basis. People when they get into their cars seem to take on another personility, they seem willing to do often "Stupid" things that they normally would not do if lets say they were standing on a street corner facing you in person. (They feel safe and overly confident in their cars) whereas in person they would be gutless!!! Personally, when I'm driving down the L.A. highways I assume that the drivers in the lanes next to me are all smoking the Crack Pipe, and I treat them as such. You have to be careful, especially if you have children in your car, because it doesn't take much to kick your Adrenal Glands into overdrive with the desire to take a MagLight Flashlight to another drivers head!!! Those urges can lead to many years in prison....and nothing is worth that crap!!! So report them and move on, because your life is worth much more than some idiot driver on the highway next to you.

Though I try to avoid the Fast-food lineup as much as possible, sometimes it's your best option. In that case here's my favorites. Burgers--- Carls Jr. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Chicken--- Boston Market, Rotisserie Chicken, Though they are apparently serving more Cow know-a-days. (They've added some type of Tri-Tip Steak) Runner-Up, would be Koo Koo Roo (If you can find one!) Mexican--- Hands down it's Chipotle, They have a Great Carnitas Burrito. Fish--- Wahoo's Fish Tacos!!! Deli--- Quiznos, They have a Spicy Monterey Chicken Club that is excellent. Chinese--- Not much choice, Panda Express I guess, I've seen them "weigh" their portions and actually remove a few pieces of Orange Chicken if it's to heavy!!! (That's Annoying!!!) Overall Fast Food generally Sucks Ass!!! But, if you have to have it there are plenty of choices! Break out the Tums and Enjoy!!!

A man escapes from prison, breaks into a house, and finds a couple sleeping. He orders the husband out of bed at knifepoint and ties him to a chair. While tying the wife to the bed, he kisses her neck for minute. Then the criminal gets up and goes to the bathroom. The husband hurriedly leans over and whispers to his wife, "This guy is an escaped convict. He's probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a women in years. I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex, don't resist---just do whatever he tells you, and with any luck we'll make it out alive. Stay strong, honey. I love you." "Oh, he wasn't kissing my neck," his wife whispers back. "He was talking in my ear. He told me he thought you were really cute and then asked if we had any Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom under the sink. Stay strong, honey. I love you, too."

Poll - worst food served by your spouse, partner, relative
BelizeIt replied to edboxer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Alright I went to a relative's house in Irvine CA and they had ordered some food from the famous "Sam Woo" restaurant. Know Sam Woo is great for authentic Chinese/Mandarin Etc>>> Not that usual crap you get at most Americanized Chinese restaurants. So what was on tonight's menu??? Barbecued Pork.---No Problem Squid in Black Bean Sauce.---No Problem Shredded Duck Soup.---No Problem Pig Intestine with pickled vegetable.---PROBLEM!!! Pork Blood, Pig Skin, With green leek (House Specialty)---PROBLEM!!! Boiled Beef Tripe---PROBLEM!!! It was a Difficult Night but I ate a little of everything (To not do so would have been insulting) The next day to my surprise, No Intestinal Issues!!! Woo Hoo!!! Sam Woo Rocks!!! I order food Togo from them when ever I'm in Irvine! -
How many old video games do you remember???
BelizeIt replied to bgwfreak's topic in Random, Random, Random
God I miss my Atari 2600, I can't imagine how many hours that I devoted to that system. Then I had a Coleco Vision, which was an incredible upgrade in terms of graphics, over the Atari 2600. (For that time) Bring on Donkey Kong!!! Now I have my eyes on an Ultracade stand up unit, which can include 100+ arcade quality games in one. Even with the great systems that are coming out in the future, (X-box 360, the new PS3) I still enjoy playing the original Pitfall after all these years. -
I'm sorry to hear about your beloved pet hamster. We have all had pets that we adore, that have passed away. I personally had a Cat named "Calso" who joined my life when I was 8 years old, and I had him until I was 24 years old. Even though it's been almost 10 years since he passed, I still have many fond memories of him. Pets are great, I can never understand people who dislike having animals, because I cant imagine life without them.

I don't doubt that the Disney Imaginers can find a great location for a new E-Ticket attraction. It's unfortunate that Disney has to work within the confines of the Disneyland Park, as compared to Disneyworld where they own ALL the land and can build at will without some nearby homeowner Bitching about the Expansion/Noise Etc... I don't feel any sympathy for these homeowners who complain about the Noise or Fireworks from Disneyland. I mean hey Moron! You bought a home near an amusement park (by choice) so cope!!! The crap that Disney has to put up with in Anaheim is unbelievable. I mean look at DCA's Mailboomer, where they have "Face Shields" (AKA Noise Blockers) on the ride. That's Sad! Never-The-Less, I always enjoy my visits to Disneyland, and whatever attractions they come up with in the future, I feel confident that it will exceed my expections!

What's your opinion on the new Harry Potter book?
BelizeIt replied to it's topic in Random, Random, Random
Don't you know that if you read any of the Harry Potter books that you will burn in Hell!!! According to several "Religious" groups these books promote Witchcraft and Sorcery! Even the Pope has come out against the Evil writings of J.K. Rowling. Save Yourself!!! Or you may Burn in the Eternal Fire!!! By the way I'm currently on chapter six of the Half-Blood Prince. Bring on the Flames!!! Hell be Damned! -
^^^Alright Robb, granted Disneys CA Adventure introduced many new attractions, But lets talk about those attractions, like the Orange Stinger or the Golden Zephyr, I expect those cheese-ball attractions at the annual Orange County Fair, NOT a Disney Park!!! I like many others I hold Disney to a higher standard, and those crappy attractions are fine for the traveling circus, not DISNEY!!! When you visit Disney you feel as though you are traveling thru many unique and different lands, not so with Disneys CA Adventure. I mean where the hell are the Disney Imaginers? I would guess that Walt is rolling over in his grave over some of the attractions they came up with for Disneys CA Adventure. DCA should be much better than it is,and I can only hope that it will improve sometime in the future.
-
By major attraction I mean Splash Mountain or Indiana Jones, NOT Buzz Lightyear/Winnie the Pooh. Or revamping existing attractions like Space Mountain or the Submarines. I mean whats it been 10+ Years? I suppose that Disneys major financial investments will be towards that bastard step-child park---Disneys CA Adventure.(Which even with the Tower of Terror still disappoints) For those people who will defend CA Adventure, I love to compare that park to another one that opened about the same time, Universals Island of Adventure, that park kicks ass!!! An example of how it should be done.

It's time to break the Flame Thrower, and relive the scene from John Carpenters "The Thing"
