Lets keep one thing clear. This father murdered his own daughter. You will always have certain groups of people who HATE the Police, and will use any incident (No matter how tragic) to back their beliefs. I don't doubt that the mother is grief stricken by the shock and sudden loss of her child. But like many people who experience a loss, the first thing they often want to do is blame someone else, other than those who are so clearly responsible---the father in this case. Would it have been better if a SWAT (Sniper) officer had taken him out? Of course, but obviously that option didn't materialize. This guy was firing his gun at the police, one of which he actually hit!!! Not to mention that any of his other random gun shots could have hit other innocent bystanders. Sadly the very next day you see the mother standing before the TV cameras, next to her ambulance chaser (Attorney) saying how she wants justice$$$ In the end the person who is truely responsible for the things that happened that day is the one who set the series of tragic events in motion--the father.

California Hardly Sucks! People like to rag on this state, yet they continue to live here. How bad can it be??? You can say that well my job is in CA so I have to live here. But lets face it if you hated it here you could probably move on to another state...Yet you stay!!! Granted CA is far from perfect, but it hardly sucks! Personally I like it here, there's lots to do, the theme parks may not be up to Islands Of Adventure standards (God I love that park) But at least you have some choices ( Disney, Six Flags, Sea World Etc...) Unlike other states... Overall, for the time being I'm staying here!!! Because CA kicks Ass over many other states in the union!

But the next thing you know you have a plane ticket to LA and a rendezous at Disney's Grand California Hotel and well...It looks like Elissa should have been worried after all!

^ Besides California, the ONLY other state I could live in other than Hawaii (To expensive/Far away) would be Florida. I have a friend who moved from CA to Jacksonville FL many years ago, and he loves it there! I personally, have been to Islands of Adventure more times (Three) than Disneys CA Adventure. (Which even with the Tower of Terror still disappoints) By the way, Robb Fanatic has Elissa E-mailed you about your attraction to the man in her life? Wives can be so protective of their husbands.

What are you talking about?! California Rules!!! I live in Orange County, and I have the Beach 10 minutes down the road, during the winter the ski resorts are only hour and a half away. The theme parks are open all year long! (None of this closed during the winter garbage) The weather is pretty good for most of the year. We have a great Governor who wants to make some positive changes for California. Overall I love it! I'm staying here!!!

Though this Caption Game is getting extremely old and needs to die! I would say it shows Rob realizing that he will always be second best to the Furry Animals in Elissa's life!

Great Report! I visited this park years ago, and I had a great time! Rode the Roller Coasters, and enjoyed everything else that the park had to offer. My friend and I put endless quarters into the "Tempest" arcade game. Overall a fun park by the ocean!

That's a great looking puppy! Though I feel confident that my 18 pound "Rag Doll" cat could probably Kick His Ass all over the room! What breed of dog is that by the way? I imagine that when you walk him down the street that he gets a lot of attention.

I had one wisdom tooth removed a couple of months ago and the experience wasn't that bad. I was awake thru the procedure, and after they shoot you up with nova cane the only thing you feel during the procedure is pressure. (from moving the tooth back and forth) The oral surgeon told me that two things can happen when they extract the tooth, 1) the tooth just pops out (good), 2) the tooth breaks apart (bad), because if the tooth breaks apart they have to remove the remaining shards of tooth piece by piece, and of course if your awake during the procedure I'm sure that's a gut-wrenching cracking sound ringing in your ears!!! But don't stress, your young so your tooth will likely just pop out, usually older people or those with Extra Nasty teeth are the ones that are more likely to break apart. Though if your a heavy Coke drinker, (Like Elissa) there could be trouble. In my case the tooth popped out, I bleed for most of that day, but by the next day very little at all. It wasn't to painful either (they'll give you pain medication), though my face was a bit swollen for a few days, definitely use the ice packs to help keep the swelling down. Overall you'll be back to normal in a few days.

O.K. No one will doubt that Michael Jackson is a strange individual, but that does NOT automatically make him a child molester?! He may be an odd-ball character, but that does not mean that he would hurt children. In a case like this you should have expected that more "victims" would have come forward once the trial was underway........ Lets face it, that did not happen, and Micheal Jackson, would have had access to thousands of children at his Neverland Ranch, but no on else has come forward, that says a lot! Is he an odd-ball unique individual....Yes, a child molester...NO!

I believe that Michael Jackson is innocent. I won't deny that Michael Jackson is a strange individual, but that does not make him a child molester. Over the years he has probably had thousands of children to his Neverland Ranch, if he was a pedophile I'm sure that more victims would have come out during the trial. I wouldn't condone having children spending the night with Micheal Jackson, but if these parents felt their children were in danger how could they allow it to occur. Instead we have this family with a somewhat shady past. Between allegations of welfare fraud, to questionable lawsuits against reputable businesses. The sad part is that even Michael is found innocent he will probably continue with his strange lifestyle and end up in some problems in the future. Either way his career as he knows it is over!

^ Granted you may have someone with a thyroid problem or other medical condition, but this is the minority, the vast majority of people who are obese are that way due to their own personal eating habits. Just compare the United States to other parts of the world. When people visit from countries in Asia they can't often believe how large the portion sizes are here in the USA. A small drink at Burger King is something like 24 ounces + free refills, in other parts of the world that would be a jumbo size. I love it how people never want to take personal responsibility for their own actions, or inactions, and instead they look for someone other than themselves to blame. I myself weigh about 195lb, at 21% bodyfat, and I'm 6'2. I have never had any problems fitting onto a ride. This isn't meant to be a bash against people who are overweight, it's just a reminder that in most cases we live our lives based on our own personal decisions, and we ultimately have to accept the consequences of those decisions.

You know we all make choices in life. Some people drink alcohol, others smoke cigarettes, and some eat large quantities of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. These are individual choices and I'm fine with that. But if you choose to drink alcohol, you risk developing cirrhosis of the liver, smoke some cigarettes maybe develop emphysema, and if you Plow Down to many Krispy Kremes then you may not get to ride some great rollercoasters!!! It's ridiculous that a person gets angry at an amusement park for not designing a ride large enough to accommodate someone who (often through their own personal choices) is obese. So get a Life!!! Shed a few pounds, and have a great time riding ALL the rides at your local theme park.

It's surprising that your cable provider doesn't give you the Travel Channel, since it's part of the Discovery network. I have Cox cable in Orange County,CA, and even with basic cable it includes the Travel Channel. So perhaps your provider will give it in the near future. The problem with the Coaster/Waterpark shows on the Travel Channel is that they haven't changed much over that past couple of years. Just like how they rehash all of the "Vegas" shows all the time. There usually isn't much new footage. You may be able to get some of the shows on DVD since many of these networks are cashing in Big Time through DVD sales.

Well I think they should come out with Chocolate Coke. You have all of these candy companies coming out with "limited edition" crap, like Dark Chocolate MM's Etc... So why not come out with a limited edition Chocolate Coke. I'd buy that!
