"The longest low gravity section of any coaster in the world" means the single hill that holds airtime for the longest period of time, not the strongest or most airtime on any coaster.

Not at all. I would rather ride a B:TR clone.

Just a hint, coasters never run like they do in the video. It will be much more fluid than that. And for it being so low and not having enough hills, the ride is FULL of hills, their smaller size just means more airtime. -

Theres two woodies at kennywood, you should check out there pre-lifts. I honestly can't wait until the ride is finished, I still like the name. In fact its on of my top 10 favorite ride names. -Matthew.K Re-read that, he's talking about the fact that the first drop was constructed before the lift hill. -

Almost every GCI is built that way, they did Evel Knievel that way. -

SFStL is a GREAT park, you really need to go there if you've never been. -

I know on TTD the default on the mag brakes is in the UP position and that it requires power to lower them. Seems like all brakes would be that way, but apparently some are default to open?

PhotoTR: Kings Island vs. Hurricane Ike

Here in Missouri all we got was about a full week of rain, up to like 8 inches in one day. Pretty severe flooding went on, but no hardcore storms. I love thunderstorms, that sounds like it would've been thrilling! -
Fixed? FIXED?! AvA is one of the most powerful bands I have ever heard in my life. Their drums are f@ck!ng amazing and their lyrics actually have meaning. If you want emo try something like My Chemical Romance. Angels & Airwaves is about as emo as the Beatles.

The video was jerky because of how it was rendered. It's not as smooth as what NoLimits generates. It will also be much more intense in real life. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Once the official live POV comes out, it will have lots and LOTS of speed. The computer animations give a good idea, but they're crap compared to the real things. Not sure I could've made my sarcasm any more clear... -

Wait... what.... a new ride was announced and everyone's opinions are POSITIVE?! Personally I think its too short, the trackwork was rough (see all that jerking in the video!?), and it looks just boring!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be there to ride it sometime next year for sure. I LOVED EK and OzCat was good too, this one looks very un-GCI like but also very fun. Can't wait! -

B&M vs Intamin

It's debatable, but many don't consider MF a "hyper," I believe this is what he was getting at. -
Most inversions on a coaster
CP_RULES replied to coasterstud522's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I believe Raptor would be the one I've ridden with the most, 6 inverstions: loop, zero-g, cobra roll, flat spin, flat spin. -
NO NO NO. I made this screen name when I was 13 and I hardly think anything good of Cedar Point anymore. I wont take this crap. I think I came off in the wrong way. Did I not like the park? No thats not the case. I was simply AMAZED at how nice the staff was, the ride ops seemed as if they were having a blast and they truly wanted to be there. The theming and smells were great, and most of the rides were really fun. I guess what I was getting at for why I was so disappointed was because I was just expecting something so much different. There just wasn't much to do for a couple of teenage kids. If I wanted to watch old ladies sit in rocking chairs and draw on umbrellas then I can go to the nursing home. The tourist trap thing comes from the fact that all of Branson is considered a "tourist destination" and I just didn't find it all that amazingly fun. I could've had more fun at the Lake of the Ozarks if it was an Ozark experience I was wanting. And if I want to see a cave then I can walk a mile down the road from my house to Rock Bridge State Park and explore the Devil's Icebox cave for free. I guess I just don't feel like I should have to pay so much to get in, then pay even more if I want to enjoy the other things like the food or the craftsmen stuff. Their food may be amazing, but it was damn expensive too. I don't know, I just feel like I could spend all day at a nice park like SFStL and never get bored, but I definitely got bored at SDC. These responses are exactly what I was expecting though. A giant group of people who aren't willing to accept others opinions. I don't think SDC is the amazing park its made out to be, BIG DEAL, I don't think very highly of CP either.
