  1. I really want to see what the completed towers look like once all of the exterior is done.
  2. Do you know specifically what changed about the drop profiles? Did the original include launches?
  3. Is this why my avatar isn't showing up? It was on last night but now it's gone and I tried to upload it again but just got an error message.
  4. I don't think anything will ever compare to Tower 4's drop sequences. People can say what they will about the theming and story, but Tower 4's drop profiles are unbeatable. For once Disney made a ride better instead of taming it down! I have a question though, so maybe someone here can help me out with this. What are the changes that have taken place between the original ToT and Tower 4? I know Tower 4 has the (awsome) random ride sequences, but what were the original ride sequences? Were the drop profiles the only thing that changed or has some effects changed as well? My first time riding ToT at MGM was only a couple of weeks ago, the last time I went to MGM before that Tower was testing.
  5. I have a couple of questions about these too. First off, how tall are the Disneysea/Paris versions, they don't look as tall as good tower. Also, I know they use they use the one shaft system that DCA's version uses, but does the one shaft system use the random ride sequence that Tower of Terror 4 uses at MGM. The random ride sequence can give you some pretty insane rides, which is one of the many things that made me fall in love with ToT. The last time I rode ToT it felt like I was in the dark forever and the ride sequence was relentless with the airtime it dished out.
  6. ^yeah, but most people in Florida have the good sense to know that Montu isn't a backwards coaster.
  7. It's that they call it a feature. All it is is four coaster photos with no discription besides some stats. They're not even good photos that show off any of the ride, with the exception of the last pic all of the photos are just a close up of the riders or the train.
  8. Oh, and here's another funny thing I found on the website. It's a roller coaster comparison "feature": http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/custom/tourism/orl-everestsidepg012206,0,5902043.photogallery?coll=orl-home-promo
  9. I just noticed "the only roller coaster with a straight down 90-degree-angle drop " part. I completely missed that the first time I read it, that's hilarious!
  10. WTF? Since when does Montu go backwards? Kumba is the largest and fastest coaster in the Southeast? I'm sorry but I just had to post this article. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/travel/destinations/orlando/orl-trav-top10,0,5528511.story?coll=orl-attractions-more
  11. I went there this summer and had a fantastic visit. I had heard plenty of bad things about it, but when I went all the rides were running, the park was clean, the staff was good, and all of the lines were short because they were running all of the trains. Did I get lucky or are some people just too hard on Knotts? As for me in 2006: I'm certain I'll be going to : Walt Disney World SFOG Paramount's Carowinds Then there's always a fair chance that I'll visit BGT or Universal. I had a Universal Pass last year but I didn't renew it since I'm leaving Gainesville and going off to college in the fall. Also, I may go to some parks in Europe. I'm almost definately going to Europe this summer, but I don't know if I'll get to any parks.
  12. Has anyone heard "Bottle Action" by Ms. B.? I'm listening to that right now, it's such a funny song for all of the wrong reasons
  13. OMG, that "Splatter Zone" sign is one of the funniest signs I've ever seen.
  14. Yeah, Hershey is a good suggestion. They have a really nice Hotel & Spa and the park is nice but not that expensive, plus it's a pretty small town that's a nice getaway.
  15. toxic waste, because I may get cool super powers Would you rather have a milk shake or a smoothie?
  16. It depends if the Vekoma was a new credit or not Would you rather drink Beverly or Nuclear Waste?
  17. OMG that Gemini one was hilarious! What's with CP and their horror advertising?
  18. as long as I don't roll down some stairs or something Would you rather ride Apollo's Chariot or Nitro?
  19. I really liked Mission: Space. I wasn't looking for an extremely intense experience, because we have to remember this is Disney. However, I thought the theming was very nicely done and the sensations were very cool, not extreme, just fun.
  20. I got an A in pre-calc, a 62 in AP Gov (although it was a full AP test, and that was just my multiple choice section, I haven't gotten back my essays yet), and I haven't gotten back Ap Literature which was my only other hard exam this year since I'm being a senior slacker and taking 3 electives
  21. I really hope the park will want a really twisted custom design instead of a lame top-hat or something. Do you guys think that any more rocket coasters will come out with Flying Snake Dives? I thought that was an awsome inversion, but as long as a roacket coaster has good airtime I'll be satisfied.
  22. (I'll just start with the G since no coasters start with 5) Gadget's Go Coaster
  23. You should do fine on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. My sister is the same way with coasters, she likes twists and turns but hates losing her stomach on drops. Due to the distribution of G Forces on all of Rock 'n' Roller coaster's downhill segments you shouldn't get that sensation at all
  24. Ooh, Test Track is fun! Although I must admit the prospect of having an almost certain gruesome death would deter me to choose plumber. Would you rather see Brokeback Mountain or Million Dollar Baby?
