Well when I was there today, I saw a sign posted "Batwing is closed until further notice". I'm assuming it's either for maintenance or because of the fireworks. But more importantly, I noticed the ACE Landmark plaque at Wild One

And there was also a bomb threat in 2016. And a couple weeks ago, a 14 year old boy nearly drowned in the wave pool

Well . . . maybe someday SF Corporate will show SFA some love with more of a budget for better shows/concerts (I thought this year's stunt show wasn't as good as last year's stunt show). As for Apocalypse and ME . . . only way I'll do them is front row

As has been mentioned here before . . . . the Safari line does get really packed so get there early (and also it closes about 4:30?)

General question . . . What's the QUICKEST you all have seen a coaster dispatch (from time people load an empty train until the ride op gives the all clear)?

So I'm still pondering the best time for me to travel to Magic Mountain. It's either going to be the week after Labor Day, or sometime during the Winter. Either way, crowds should be relatively decent (did HITP at MM get real crowded last year?) . . . and if I do a winter trip, I'd escape the cold Maryland fall/winter

I've also noticed that Mind Eraser at SFA only has one train now. And if I had a poop load of money . . . . I'd buy new trains for the ride; or go the Morey's route and do a re-tracking.

Well . . . at least Magnum XL 200 and the Big One are at amusement parks. I wonder what the whole thought process was of building Desperado in the middle of nowhere (it's not that far from the California/Nevada border)?

I've seen said coaster given the (not so) flattering nickname of Despera-DON'T. Is it rougher than the other two Arrow Hypers?

If I ever make out to Vegas . . . I'm definitely doing Circus Circus and getting an all day Adventuredome Pass.

I've fallen off the wagon . . . gained 10 or 11 pound the last 3 weeks. STRICT dieting . . . NO cheat meals (which means NO theme park goodies), NO going out to eat.

Do you think they'll eventually junk Boomerang & Goliath (I know the latter has gotten really rough after the new trains from Premier Rides were installed . . . why that is, I don't know)? If so, what goes in it's place . . . . Raptor or T Rex?

That's what I think they should do for these Arrow loopers; instead of junking them . . . get those kind of trains

It's been down for about 3 weeks now, but it was operating before that. Does Volcano have more downtime than usual for an Intamin?

I'm falling off the wagon again. (probably fluid retention but still) . . . doing the best I can, just can't shake the ghost of wanting my candy/other goodies. I was going to go out to dinner for my birthday (the 31st) with my parents . . . but now I don't think it's likely.

What are the requirements for how large a rider can be on Ride of Steel? I know for Superman: RoS at SFA, they have a test seat to see if a larger person can fit. Also, because of the restraints used (t-bar?), the height limit of the rider is 76 inches (6-4)

What coaster is that? Those restraints look very good . . . . if I could, I'd re-do the trains on the Arrow Loopers with those restraints
