Her parents must be so proud. I don't have a problem with that style of music, but you don't go on a show like American Idol and think you are going to get people to listen to it. That just struck me as an idiot teenager thinking she was being cool.

One of the most popular dark rides at Disneyland is Mr. Toad's wild ride. Most people probably don't even realize it's loosely based on a Disney movie or what Wind in the Willows is.

If SkyRush had I305's restraints I have a feeling it would have been my #1. Haven't ridden Maverick yet. I think this wouldn't quite be the case simply because the restraints on Skyrush provide so much freedom of movement that you fell like you'll actually fly out but on I305 I felt even on the strongest airtime moments that I was still safe and comfortable due to how cumbersome and restrictive the restraints are, this would sort of kill what I consider to be one of the best parts of Skyrush. I think this is one of the reasons I actually rank I305 "slightly" higher than SkyRush. I felt like SkyRush was actively trying to throw me from the ride, this was the first time I'd ever felt this on a coaster. While it was awesome I actually felt like I HAD to hold on and now throw my hands up and simply enjoy the ride. Hope that makes sense. If I was giving the rides a number score I'd give I305 a 10 and Skyrush probably a 9.8. It's that close for me.

I don't have a problem with the "Cold Weather" Super Bowl, I have a problem that it seems that the only reason they are allowing it is because it's in "New York". Now if they are going to allow the game to be played in other "Cold Weather" cities such as Chicago or Baltmore or other "Bad Weather" cities like Seattle, Santa Clara, Carolina, Kansas City, etc then I'm totally ok with it. KC and Seattle have pretty new stadiums and Soldier Field is essentially new yet I've never heard of those cities being even considered for a Super Bowl.

Ghostrider back in the late 90's would still be my #1 woodie (even over El Toro and Phoenix). Now, it's at the bottom of my list. I have probably ridden worse woodies, but going from best to worst takes a lot of effort. Or no effort depending on how you want to look at it.

This is looking more and more amazing all the time. I've needed a new computer for awhile. I have the feeling I'd need an upgrade to play this and I also have the feeling that it will be totally worth it!!!

By default it's probably Full Throttle since it may be the only new coaster I get to ride this year other than the new one at Knott's, which I'm not looking forward to. Looking like 2013 is going to be a pretty light year for parks relatively speaking. We may do CGA when I go up to do the SF Marathon so Gold Striker would be most anticipated then.

^ Agreed about Tarantino's cameo. It was distracting and really the only part that I didn't like about the movie. But I do agree about the way he went out. Kind of made it worth it.

Spring Breaks vary greatly in SoCal. Easter is kind of early this year (March 31) so expect most schools to have their spring break the week after. So if you go later in April you will certainly have better luck with crowds. Remember, after Spring Break the park is open every day until Labor Day. Weekdays in late April and May are the absolute best times to go to the park.

I was there last Saturday and the park was pretty dead. This is the last weekend to process Gold passes though but I'd imagine that would just make the Season Pass Processing lines longer than they have been.

Honestly, I'm going to predict a June opening for Full Throttle as long as we don't have a particularly wet February/March. However, if the last two months are any indication we may get a lot of rain the next two months. We've already gotten more rain than all of the 2012 rainfall totals.
