^ I think it's because Detroit is on EST and they are trying to keep teams in the same time zones in the same division. Plus, you can't have all the crappy teams in the same division. LOL -

^ The way it's set up keeps most of the traditional rivalries intact (Philly/Pittsburgh - Boston/Toronto - Rangers/Islanders/Devils - Ottawa/Toronto/Montreal) and in the same divisions. The only one missing is Chicago/Detroit really. -
^ We liked the first one as well, this one looks better than I thought it'd look, but it's definitely a "wait for Blu Ray" for us.

Possible Realignment, what do you think? I think this would probably be ok. The article has some info about the wild card format, etc. http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/8991414/nhl-realignment-proposal-adds-playoff-wild-cards-drops-league-4-divisions-source-says Pacific Division Anaheim Calgary Edmonton Los Angeles Phoenix San Jose Vancouver Mid-West Division Chicago Colorado Dallas Minnesota Nashville St. Louis Winnipeg Central Division Boston Buffalo Detroit Florida Montreal Ottawa Tampa Bay Toronto Atlantic Division Carolina Columbus New Jersey New York Islanders New York Rangers Philadelphia Pittsburgh Washington -

^ Saw that. Hope it doesn't end up biting them in the playoffs. -
Honestly, I don't like the whole sequel thing with Pixar, although Toy Story 2 and 3 worked. Everything I've heard about Monsters University is promising (have a friend who works at Disney and has seen a screening). I just don't understand how you can make a Finding Nemo 2. Is he going to get lost again?

Kings finally starting to play like the defending champs!!! -
The reason Finding Nemo was down the list is because the story was VERY weak, and something we've seen a million times before. Visually it's one of the best, and I'm sure it looks great on Blu Ray (It's been sitting unopened on my desk since it came out). But for me it's all about the story and IMO it's one of the weakest. That's not saying it's bad at all. Even a bad Pixar movie is better than 95% of other movies out there.

I don't buy Jet Stream leaving. First, that would only leave 2 water rides in a park that regularly hits more than 100 degrees in the summer. Second, unlike Log Jammer, Jet Stream is very high capacity. Third, removing Jet Stream wouldn't be anywhere near as easy as removing Log Jammer due to Ninja. Fourth, building something else in Jet Streams spot would actually require the park to make a unique ride and not just something they can plop down somewhere, again, because of Ninja.

I enjoyed Brave. Frankenweenie was my personal favorite but I picked Wreck It Ralph because it had won the Annie, etc. Brave was better than Wreck It Ralph IMO. Finding Nemo and Cars 2 are Pixars worst movies.

Top 10 Video Games of All Time
Sir Clinksalot replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Random, Random, Random
LOL! I agree. I think there are only like 4 of us that actually played games on systems before the NES! --Robb I was going through this thread and this one made me laugh. I'm going to have to ask Mr. X when he get's home from school what his top 10 are. I actually think his choices will be games that somebody twice his age (15) would put in their top 10. I'll post them later. -

^^ But you'd better believe that Knott's will have their 3 rides open before Full Throttle. And yes, I know "Full Throttle is more complicated than Knott's additions" but let's not forget that Log Jammer was closed and demolished for more than a year before anything started happening with Full Throttle.

^ From the first second I stepped onto WDW property on our first visit in 2006 I was totally at ease at how different it was than Disneyland. And even though I grew up with Disneyland and the fact that we've only been to WDW 3 times, I like that property better than DL as a whole. And it's not even close. Just so happens my style of what I enjoy fits closer with WDW than Disneyland. Most people who live in SoCal vehemently disagree with me. But I think your explanation of it just being "different" and not necessarily better or worse is pretty spot on. Unfortunately Disney itself keeps trying to make both resorts the same which is, IMO, a HUGE mistake.

Going to post something I posted a few months ago about "bashing" the park. SFMM has always been my "home park", so to speak. There were years when I went to Disney or Knott's more, but for the most part, SFMM is the park I've visited the most on a year-in year-out basis, and is without question the park I've visited the most. Here's my problem with the park: I REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! That's it. It's not rocket science, it's not a conspiracy, it's not because it's "fun and easy to make fun of the park". The park lost it's way a LONG time ago, it tried to get it back under Jay (and I give them all the credit in the world for trying), but by that time it was too little too late. The damage had been done under Premier and there is no going back. The park realizes this, which is why they must go after the "thrill" GP. So before you make assumptions that we can't appreciate the park, step back and think of those of us who have lived near and loved the park for 30+ years (in my case) and imagine if your local favorite park just abandoned everything that made them once great. Wouldn't you be kind of pissed and not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt? end rant ...

I've done Coasting for Kids the last 2 years at Knott's, their info always is among the last to be made available. I'd be shocked if there is riding on anything other than Jaguar for Coasting for Kids. But you are always free to take breaks to ride other stuff. I'm sure there will be some of us going over to get our Coast Rider credit when the park opens. LOL. EDIT: Knott's info is posted. Jaguar it is.
