  1. Happy Birthday Elissa! I hope you are feeling better! Kristi
  2. Saw OMFG!!! This is hands down the most disturbing movie I have seen. EVER!!! I was shaking by the end of it, not because it was scary, which it wasn't, but because it was so breathtakingly visually disturbing. Now, that's not a bad thing if you like that sort of thing. You know, Torture, gore, children in jeopardy, self mutilation, etc, etc. If you like plain old F**ked up movies, see Saw. If not, don't see it.
  3. Scripted: CSI: Las Vegas 24 Lost Alias ER Gilmore Girls South Park Reality: The Amazing Race Survivor Fear Factor Extreme Makover: Home Edition (Last nights had me in tears the whole time) Gregg "Still waiting for a new funny sitcom to come out" C.
  4. http://www.miceage.com/kevinyee/ky031405a.htm Full descriptions of all 3 towers, and reviews. Sounds just like Dragon Blaster at Schlitterbahn to me. One other thing that Kevin didn't see, but can certainly happen, are people falling off the rafts. It happened to Elissa and Beth when we were there.
  5. ^^^the easiest way to update is to pop in the disc and select "UPDATES" on the opening menu (though for some reason I can't get my menu to pop up - maybe because Firefox is open). If you can't get that to work, head over to Atari.com and look for the patches - they're not too tough to hunt down. Here's my problem - I can't get the damn program to accept the music I put into the MyMusic/RCT3 folder. I've tried it in .WMA and .MP3 and I still can't get those music selections (the Islands of Adventure soundtrack - I'm a geek) to pop up. No clue what I'm doing wrong...
  6. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7173190/ So expect more of the same that we got from Eisner ...
  7. Hey ... Robb was cursing too!!!! Gregg "Loves the Manhattan Express segment" C.
  8. WOW!! Robb's a STICKER ... who knew ...
  9. I agree with Elissa ... No Amazing Race = Incomplete poll. I did catch a little of the Starlet tonight. It had chicks making out. Not bad if you ask me.
  10. ^ It's his favorite "cos it is loop" I mean ... come on ... is loop man!!! It's not like he has any good coasters that is loop in Texas ... Oh wait ... yes he does ... Gregg "I wonder if I would type like that if we had been in TX any more than 4 days last year" C.
  11. Your schedule actually seems pretty doable. One I would consider doing Disneyland on Sunday and DCA on Monday. For some odd reason Sunday is the busiest day of the week for DCA. Plus now with the SoCal 2-fer thing, most people are going to DL on Saturday and DCA on Sunday. Remember that Belmont is a good 45 - 60 minutes from LegoLand. Don't know if it's really worth it. As for best seats, I like the back on Xcelerator and CA Screamin'. The front is next best obviously. Getting a front seat on CA Screamin' isn't too hard, the line isn't too bad. Xcelerator is a different story. The day you are going shouldn't be too busy though. As for Silver Bullet and Scandia, I don't know. I really haven't heard that it matters on either.
  12. ^ Oh, there have been worse things done to get away from people. You got Elissa on a water ride that day, that's saying ALOT!!!
  13. That's awesome!! I wonder if even Disney would ship it to someone free of charge.
  14. They are celebrating it MORE in WDW it seems. Each park is getting a new attraction: Epcot - Soarin' MGM - Motors Action (or whatever it's called) Magic Kingdom - Cinderellebration Animal Kingdom - Everest (Technically for the 50th even though it won't be open until next year) Of course, WDW seems to open up one attraction per year anyway, so this isn't much different for them.
  15. Just got back from jogging ... Shorts, no shirt ... sweat ... In a few minutes ... my b-day suit ... shower time!!!
  16. You can find the answer to that question, and many more here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=187
  17. I find it funny that at WDW they are opening a new attraction and are rumored to be announcing yet another new attraction the same day. Why can't Disneyland be like that? Here's my thought though. All other parks except for DCA are getting something for Disneylands Birthday. Anybody else see something odd about that?
  18. Mostly here and WC. I do go to MiceAge and Laughingplace every few days just to say wassup. I will check out ScreamScape once in awhile to read the rumors. That's about it. I have no life.
  19. I'm technically there on business that week. I have meetings until Friday at 4pm, we are going to Dollywood on Saturday and SFOG on Sunday. Our flight leaves at 4pm Sunday so that only gives us from 10am to 2pm at SFOG on Sunday. Unless the weather sucks and we end up not going to Dollywood (which would REALLY suck) then we would probably just go to SFOG or even Wild Adventures on Saturday. There is a chance we can make it for the last few hours of SFOG on Saturday since they are open until 10pm, but it depends on how busy Dollywood is. We don't want to have to rush it there. Plus we need to get our kiddie credit in Pigeon Forge. If we did Wild Adventures on Saturday I don't think it would be an issue getting back to SFOG by 8pm on Saturday night to get some rides in. I was hoping to go to SFOG on Friday night but it's closed for a private party. Too bad it's not my company (we have an office out there) and I could get tickets.
  20. Nice Pics everyone. I'm getting excited for our Trip there next month, I just wish we had more than 4 hours to spend at the park.
  21. I'm going to wait until I go to Dollywood and SFOG next month. I'm sure some of those will be in my Top 10's after the trip.
  22. I have to agree on the Metallica thing. Yes, they sell out shows, but so does Kiss. That's not saying much. Metallica USED to be a badass kickass band. Not anymore. They haven't had a COMPLETE good original album since the Black Album. They haven't had any kind of good recording since S&M. There were 4 good songs on their last album. James has lost his voice, Lars can't drum anymore. IT'S OVER!!! I had the priviledge to see them a few times in the late 80's / early 90's and they put on an amazing show. I heard the live stuff from the last tour and it didn't sound like the same band. Maybe they need to start drinking again.
  23. What is your favorite? I have tried to include most of the more popular shows.
  24. Is this turning into a "In praise of Food Network" thread? I like Top 5, Good Eats, Iron Chef, Unwrapped and Emeril although I wouldn't eat half of what he cooks.
