  1. I would say the 20th. It's a Friday, kids are still in school, for the most part, etc. There aren't any events going on that week, well according to their schedule. Avoid Memorial weekend at all costs.
  2. I find it weird that there is no objectivity when it comes to this man. Yes, he did a lot of great things. But, he's human, he's not perfect (although I guess when your Pope your supposed to be). There are still priests diddling little kids, and this man did very little to stop that. I just don't understand all of the deifying of a man. He's a sinner, just like all of us. How does one become pope? He get's voted to be pope by a bunch of other sinners, and all of the sudden he is without sin? What is that??? I haven't seen this kind of coverage for any head of a foreign state since ... well, since never. My kids school had their flags at half mast today. Why??? Did the President die? Did we have some major national disaster? Nope. I doubt flags will be at half mast when Margaret Thatcher dies. She did more for the US than any previous foreign dignatary. Let's face it ... the Pope is a political appointment who happens to be steep in Religious ceremony. That's it. He's a man, nothing more, nothing less. The other thing I found absolutely HILARIOUS was the line of cars going into the Catholic church by our house yesterday. The only other time I have seen it like that was Easter 2 years ago. I just don't understand that. What do people think: "Hey Honey, we haven't been to church in 2 years, but the Pope died so we should go ..." Doesn't make sense to me. If you weren't a good enough Catholic to go when the man was alive, then why do you feel the need to go when he is dead? I hope I haven't offended anybody by this, but let's keep this in perspective. 9/11 - Tragic Challenger - Tragic Tsunami of '04 - Tragic Pope Dying - Mother Nature, Circle of Life ... whatever you want to call it.
  3. Happy 15th b-day Coastermontu. Ahh ... to be 15 again ... and know what I know now!!!
  4. Wow, this really is a sausage fest!!! But yeah, let's face it, every straight guy or girl has the guy/girl they would go temporarily gay for. If someone says they don't, they are lying. Just as I'm sure there are gay people who would go straight (at least temporarily) for certain people. Me, I'm straight. But I'm man enough to be able to look at a guy and say, damn he's fine. It sometimes scares the wife, but she knows I'm all about the ladies!!! I grew up with alot of Gay people, my Mom is Gay. Most of her friends are Gay. It was never something that was hidden from me, so it's just a lifestyle that is different from the one I have. Anybody who says there is something wrong with being Gay obviously hasn't spent any considerable amount of time with Gay people. Gregg "You go girls" C.
  5. Yeah, I can't wait for our trip. Less than 2 weeks now!!! Well, 2 weeks from now I will be in ATL, Kristi doesn't get in until Thursday night. Our plan is: Friday (after my conference is over) drive to Pigeon Forge, eat at Carrabas somewhere along the way. Anybody know what time the Ober Gatlinburg stuff closes? Saturday: Dollywood (they open at 9am). Back to ATL and a few hours at SFOG on Saturday night (they close at 10pm) Sunday: SFOG until 1ish (we fly out at 4pm) Anybody know if there are any discount's for Dollywood admission??? Thanks in advance.
  6. I encourage everybody to bid! I just did. Not only can you get some great stuff but you can help somebody out in the process. Good luck with the auction Chris.
  7. Don't watch it, don't play it, don't like it ... sorry.
  8. I concur, that looks like an awesome recreation. Can't wait to actually ride it!!!
  9. Wondering how many people will actually show up for this. Oh right, no Buffet ... nobody will show ...
  10. Gruesome violence, twisted stories, and gun-slinging prostitutes ... sounds like my kind of movie. Watched a few movies over the weekend: Before Sunset I actually really enjoyed this. It was a cool caper film with some interesting twists. Woody Harrelson and Pierce Brosnan actually make a pretty good team. Finding Neverland This didn't win any awards why? The best movie I have seen so far from 2004. Johnny Depp was absolutely amazing, as he usually is. Finally a great movie to go along with a great performance. I think Jamie Foxx deserved his Oscar, but his was a great performance in an okay movie, unlike this. Closer I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would. It was interesting but I was ready for it to end about 3/4 through the film, well, as soon as Natalie Portman's stripping scene was over. It just kept going back and fort between people. Just pick who you want to be with and be done with it already!!! Flight of the Phoenix It was okay. Nothing spectacular. I was definately expecting more out of this. Ella Enchanted One I had seen before, but it's still great. Sure it's campy, and a typical fairy-tale story, but it's got enough twisted humor in it to satisfy anybody.
  11. Which one is the Worst? Out of the ones I have been to I would say SFAW. Not that there is anything wrong with the park. The staff seemed okay, but there is absolutely no consistent theme or surrounding scenery except for the freeway.
  12. Also went with SFFT. The park is very nice.
  13. ^^^that's all well and good, but it's going to have to have some bang-up features to be better than the last DVD edition. What I'd love to see happen is some sort of a theatrical rerelease. Don't go wide with it - limited is fine. I have no issues driving three or four hours to Atlanta to catch it. Or maybe they'll just randomly pick up a print of it at the Universal Cineplex. Last time I was down there, I saw a listing for Ice Pirates. Not Ice Princess, Ice PIRATES. I guess they do some sort of "bizarre cult movie" thing there. Yet another reason to move to Orlando. . .
  14. Anything to do with Feminine Hygene. I mean, why do they need to advertise this stuff??? It's not like Women don't need it. Then they put the liquid in there to demonstrate. Don't leave the TV on during Sex, if you hear one of those ads, there goes the mood.
  15. ^ Much worse ... You could actually get on the ride. X is a good ride, in concept. In execution, not so much. I have ridden it 4 times. Have had 2 okay rides, 1 excellent ride and one ride that was the worst experience I have ever had on a coaster. And yes, that includes the Manhattan Express ride that Robb and I took last year. If they could somehow make it consistently smooth and re-rideable it could be the best coaster ever. Unfortunately I don't see that happening.
  16. ^ Likes Maliboomer ... < Likes Asses ... I mean Donkey's ...
  17. I would if I could get into the games stuff from work ... Gregg "Bored right now" C.
  18. You know what Sharktums is ... right??? http://hometown.aol.com/sharktums/ Yeah ... that's it. So go to Wal Mart ... get some tums and a plastic shark and you will be in the mix Gregg "Is that really Robb's old office? His new one, or his former office ... well ... the one right before the one he has now was better ... haven't seen the new one yet" C.
  19. 87 - $2.57 89 - $2.67 91 - $2.77 It cost me $30 to fill up the Kia yesterday. It was about $23 to fill it up a week ago ... This really sucks especially when you have 2 people who commute and are putting 100 miles on the car daily.
  20. ^ That's just sick. I think Robb's waiting list is longer than Elissa's.
  21. Wow, this one is tough: Again going along with the COMPLETE album scenario: Rush: Moving Pictures / Presto / Permanent Waves Guns N' Roses: Appetite for Destruction (perhaps the most complete ROCK album of all time) Queensryche: Operation Mindcryme / Empire Metallica: And Justice for All ... Genesis: Nursery Cryme / Genesis Bad Religion: No Control / Stranger than Fiction NIN: Pretty Hate Machine / Downward Spiral Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet (Come on, you know you love it) Weezer: Blue Album Peter Gabriel: So / Us / Up Primus: Sailing the Seas of Cheese / Pork Soda Foo Fighters: The Colour and the Shape / There is nothing left to lose Pink Floyd: Animals / Dark Side of the Moon Nirvana: Nevermind / In Utero / Bleach / Insecticide Green Day: Dookie / Insomniac / Nimrod The Who: Who's Next AC/DC: Back in Black Run DMC: Raisin' Hell Beastie Boys: License to Ill / Pauls Boutique Jimi Hendrix: Are you Experienced Van Halen: 1984 / OU812 / For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge Beach Boys: Pet Sounds (If you have never heard this album ... go get it ... like NOW!!!) The Clash: London Calling The Cure: Faith / Wish / Discentegration / Boys Don't Cry Pearl Jam: 10 RadioHead: Kid A Alice in Chains: Dirt Rage Against the Machine: Rage Against the Machine The Smiths: The Queen is Dead Marvin Gaye: What's Going On REM: Automatic for the People Bob Marley: Legend U2: The Joshua Tree / Boy / Achtung Baby Public Enemy: It takes a nation ... Oingo Boingo: Dead Mans Party Tool: Lateralus / AEnema / Undertow Okay, so I know alot of my stuf is cliche', but I would like anybody to sit down, listen to any of these albums and try to dispute them. Gregg "Could go on all night talking about music" C.
  22. ^ What's he stereotyping? That we supersize our signs??? WTF??? He's got a point. Hollywood ... Vegas Hotel Signs .. I don't understand the attack.
  23. Dude, the Katamari one ... LMFAO!!!! That's great. Al Lutz did a April Fools day article. I don't think it's necessarily fall out funny, but it took some thought. http://www.miceage.com/allutz/al040105a.htm And check out my April Fools Avatar!!! Get it ... "Check out that Ass" ... Supercrack ... Donkey ... Ass ... Donkey's Ass ...
  24. Yeah, Fawlty Towers is the Shiznitt!! They don't make them like that anymore.
  25. I like them as well, but dont' think they would offer anything unique over a regular B&M Multi-Looper. Then again I haven't been on a regular B&M sit-down yet so what do I know? Out of the 2 Floorless Coasters I have been on Superman Krypton Coaster is certainly better than Scream.
