  1. Still using auto-support, rene? I hope you fix that when you put the trains on
  2. It may looks high, but that's because i estimated the distance of each support layer wrong. In fact mine is only 3 feet too high compared to the 'real' Troy
  3. Ok, wired the deposits on both trips. You should get it by the 27th. I had the awesomest day at Toverland last July....i wonder what a whole trip would do to me...
  4. I'm going to check if when my school begins next year. Meanwhile, i'm just going for both trips (that's ok right?) so i hopefully can be on one of the two. Deposit should be there in a couple of hours
  5. i believe the foot of a girl on the ride hit someone who was walking below the loop of katun
  6. i can think of another way than putting a thin 3ds layer over the actual track
  7. bit by bit i'm making progress.... somebody remember this picture?
  8. Toverland Best - Troy Worst - 'The Apple'
  9. IMO it is a good idea, i've tought about it several times. It's exactly like the calendar, you just post the days you are going to a park, or plan your visited to parks when other member will be there to meet-up
  10. What to do on the free fridays when Troy was finally done....? Build Troy myself! Track is done and i'm quite satified with the result. Supporting will be custom. I only put on the catwalks and handrails by the autosupporter. (double) ledgers, bent and lateral/diagonal bracing will be done by myself. Anyways, progress for now....the camelback is like halfway done, so is the start of the lifthill. comments and suggestions are allways welcome
  11. So....how's KR compared to Troy?
  12. you want your hill to be a straight line (in top view) don't you? If you place your vertexes on that line and make sure the control points are also on that line, you a straight piece of track. After that you can go and raise the vertexes so you get a hill
  13. 3 Methods: Method 1: Using a support Place 2 support nodes on the template, the first where you want to start your hill and the second and the end of the hill. Make a support connect the nodes and place your vertexes on the line you've just created. Method 2: Using split segment Place a new vertex and the end of the hill. Split the new segment several times and adjust the height. Method 3 Using save element Make your hill in fowards or sideward direction in a different track file. When done, select the hill, save the element. And insert the element in the correct track file. Hope this helps
  14. you can use supports to make a secondary grid that is angled/diagonal. So when working angled/diagonal, you can rely on that grid
  15. You first have to block the train with clamps or something else so that you're sure it won't move. Sicko Efteling operators
  16. i get that, but why not both. spend your money on a park where you can have fun on the rides/coaster and with each other...
  17. it is not. I hated the park, it's an outdoor version of Toverland without coasters...(and i'm not saying this because i work at toverland)
  18. As far as i could see (looking at the holes and text on it) the answer is.. Yes yours has holes? that's pretty exclusive, i have 3 of them and neither feature holes
  19. 75 km/h VEKOMA motorbike with a ride time of 1:00 minute or 90 km/h GCI twister with a ride time of 2:00 minutes, it's better, waaaaay better
  20. you are wrong getting in and out happens in the (same) station you see?
  21. For those who couldn't stream, the videos are up for download in the post on page 5
