  1. Update friday 20 april 2007 The triple-crossover is nearly done, the little turn from the brakes to the station and the prelift 'S' are also allmost done. The marked some things around the station area and the entrance towers are getting some foundation.
  2. ah, yes the trains, here they are:
  3. i have the same feeling Rene, i've seen Troy being build up from the ground up and in that way, i still haven't realised how 'big' Troy is going to be, and i don't only mean that in the literal way. Somehow i have the feeling i'll pass out for a few days when i really realise the awesomeness of Troy, which if it weren't for some trees i could see from my house
  4. And the drop is done! and the 70deg turn is also allmost done
  5. Is it me or do you have queue gates/fences on both side of the station?
  6. That's the one I got the medal on... There's not much pumping at all, and the loop isn't slow.. do you have improved friction on? The loop is like that for floater to cause negatives at the top, I don't see what you're talking about haha. W/e. loops aren't supposed to have floaters, the vertical G's should stay above +1 at all times to have proper loop
  7. It's friday again and time for another update, They guys have started the first drop, and although they have only put up several legs, the drop is already quite steep and banking is also around 45 degrees or so. The pic's:
  8. After today i think Troy is a bit over the top and it'll be only going downhill from now... At this is for those who have too much time on their hands http://five.flash-gear.com/npuz/puz.php?c=v&id=1946061&k=48404141
  9. doesn't it say somewhere in the blog that they will be installed on-site or something?
  10. it is right, from the original layout those things have changed: 1. The crossover under the lifthill have been replace in the direction of the station (north) and so the crossover is no longer under but next to the lifthill. Under the lifthill the tracks run parallel 2. The twisty ending after the helix has been replaced with something very straight, possibly slow-down brakes
  11. Well, i just prefer the old ones, IMO they just go with the coaster, deep and closed cars. It's still a vekoma and on the old ones i at least didn't hurt my back
  12. ^have to disagree on the python trains, IMO they look ugly. Sure they've got a snake texture, but they look ugly. They are also very uncomfortable and i'm getting no less headbanging then before. I just wish they put the old ones back on
  13. Aargh, why did i clicked on this thread it makes the wait even more unbearable...
  14. The guys are making progress with the parallell turns that'll go under the lift, allmost at the point where they cross-over. Also they have continued placing the 'ties' and 'catwalks' on the places where they didn't have those things 9 pics:
  15. isn't this the funniest crossover you've ever seen?
  16. great job guys, looking forward to the toverland trains btw, what is hesheypark doing with the old trains? throw them away or so?
  17. huh, why are you linking to this topic?
  18. Yep, so true. La Via Volta already looks like scrap metal and so does Xpress. They really need to repaint Xpress this year. Goliath also showed some rust colleration here and there. Hopefully WW uses the extra money for maintenance. Lately Goliath also made a loud bang, just before ascending the lift hill (did somebody else notice?). They should fix that too. isn't that just the cable car hooking onto the train?
  19. No, not Jr, rather Sr. It are the parents who got $$ in their eyes
  20. Update 16 February 2007 Today (and yesterday) the camelback has gone up, and so is the lift because they are running parallel. Also a little building for the chain motor has been put up. The pictures: (only 4, if you would like a specific pic from a specific angles, pm me) Skyline Shot ! Last helix has received ties, and other neat stuff .... is sharing it's supports with the lift hill The big straight (???) airtime hill ....
  21. Uuuuhm, the ride is named "Troy" , not the Bullet he's talking about the new GG that's being build in Texas Well duh, i could read that, but he said "also called the Bullet" now, you interprent it wrong, they are building a woodie coaster also - pause - called the Bullet
