Update 19 January Sorry for being late, I had kind of a busy weekend, but here’s the update from last Friday. Today my boss at Toverland was giving a tour for interested employees, so I’ve some ‘on-site’ pics. Work is continuing on the lateral bracing of the turn standing, and ties are also put up. The area at the parking lot has anchors lying on it. and from what I can tell, it’s going to be a big and/or high turn, with lots of speed. It is not clear in the picture, you’ll have to be there yourself to see it better, but in the middle of the turn, different anchors are placed, IMO it’ll become a ‘deadmanspoint’. And yes, that is me on the 7th pic. -

Update 16 January No big parties of wood assembled this time, we’ll have to wait for that, because nobody was sawing or screwing a new leg together. However, the first part that was put up has received railings on both sides, catwalks on one side, track ties and the base for the track itself has also been assembled. Also, the big turn is, if the work continues like this, receiving a full lateral bracing. Which probably means it’ll have to handle some high speeds. Going towards the parking lot, a new area has received concrete, they’ve continued preparing another area for concrete and started preparing a new area for concrete preparation. So it won’t be long before they’ll get their share of concrete. The roundabout in the last picture, which is located just outside Toverland, will be getting a 33 feet landmark tower which is scheduled to be ready coming summer. -

Update 9 January Perhaps you have seen it on the webcam, not the best quality, but that turn can’t be missed. And for those who are counting all the legs: 16 have been put up, bringing the total to 34. Near the parking lot, there are preparations made for concrete, when I left, they had nearly finished one of the two half spheres that hopefully will receive the concrete in a week or so. But returning to the main part of the update: the TURN ! -

The soil in the province Toverland is in has pretty good soil, it's very far inland. Also, IMO, a slab is a lot easier than single footers, and the integrety is also a little better because it's one whole -

also, the 'survival' (obstacle course) has a small footprint, you might get a boomerang on it, but it's way to popular for it -

Location of the woodie has changed from behind the Boosterbike to next to it. The flied was a small forest, but most of it has been taken down. Only one row of trees is still standing, soil samples have been taken to analyse and determine the cement mixture. Footers are scheduled for november so that won't be long before rebar should be popping up. Also piles of sand have been laid down, the yellow will most likely be used for the tiles/bricks for the paths -

Because there are no accidents on rollercoaster to investigate, only dumb people who stand up in a woodie or kids with hart trauma that go in disney rides -

The terrain: Dirk's pictures: The first pole did imediatly got examinated by hyyyper. We first thought it was marked till the road, but eventually the distance was much bigger! From here to all down there! Warning: Runaway Hyyyper's! He is going to check now every day if there is going to be a new pole! [lol] From here to my scooter on the right is the width from the terrain. The length from the terrain is from here somewhere outside the picture [lol] Meanwhile hyyyper is picturing every picture that was on the terrain. You never know if there is standing a hidden message on them! [] Every little pole! [] This is going to be the length of the terrain. From here to the boosterbike! [pshades] And hyyyper did also measure the height and the width from the pole [] I'm defenatly sure, this is going to be one huge coaster for toverland [pshades] We'll keep ya updated [] hyyyper's picture's: Well...dirk and i went to meet at toverland and we got a hint from the boosterbike rideop that poles where put in the field after the boosterbike, so dirk and i went to take a look... because my pics are basically the same as dirk's i'll only upload 11, Dirk being mindwarped by the orange pole Dirk (thinking he's) being cool next to a white pole ...145...146...147...148... ...179...180...181...ehhh...damn, lost count X-treme Pole Close-Up Dirk: "I swear i saw that pole move!" "Hmm...this bunny hop is certainly pop some airtime" "Dirk, there's just markers" "Bummer" Look close, the northwest pole is out there! Somewhere! You see, i told you it was out there! Somewhere! Hey BoosterBike RideOp's, how's it hanging? Random photo of random poles in a random field -
