Troy comes in 4th? Wow, i really did not see that coming. I've been on Troy, and if i see the amazing Wildcat (hershey) layout i'm a bit curious how it ended up there. -

Comprehensive Coaster Credit Conversation

It is you who decides what is and what isn't a rollercoaster. I have mulptiple coaster categories, powered coasters, water coasters, bobsled coasters and roller coasters. They are all coasters, but not all are rollercoasters. -

NL Zero-G's-Roll
hyyyper replied to jpdupuis's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Why not try it yourself? Every coaster in NL is so unique you can't really make a zeroG that fits all. The basic thing you need to do is: 1. Make a hill 2. Twist that hill 3. Heartline it (move the track so that the heartline is on the previous location of the track) this can be done by hand or with the AHG(http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/pageid-6.html). And please ask any other NL-related questions in this topic: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29233 -
No limits question
hyyyper replied to Yankee cannonball's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
They are not. Some people who have too much time on their hands create perfect track with formulas that would faint my calculus teacher. In NoLimits you build your track with nodes and segments. You click in the building area there appear a node where you clicked and from your last placed node a segment is created between the two. Then you can easily shape the track in any direction you want. What you do need is a bit of straightforward thinking and will to take the time to really learn NoLimits, because you can figure out how it work quite fast, but to really pull off awesome track, you'll need some practice. I hope the latter didn't scare you because NoLimits is a great program. Oh, and please use this topic for your NL-related questions: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29233 -
^Perfect? no...close to perfect? yes, it just takes a lot of practise. It's what they say...easy to learn, difficult to master. Just take in mind that radii should get smaller the higher the track is. As for guides...i don't think there are any. It's more like learn by making mistakes. If you make a radius too small, it'll end up with red G's, so you width-en the radius until you won't get high G's anymore. If you're laterals are too high, you bank more...etc..etc As for lock handles, it makes that the length between the node and control points is always the same on both sides. So if you would drag the control point on the left side of the node from 1ft to say 3ft, the right side one'll jump to 3ft. If you need more in depth or detailed help, don't hesitate to add me on msn bas-houben "@" hetnet.nl

$ 10 a tag is quite expensive. IMO the old method of meeting each other again at a certain location at a certain time is just as good. And nowadays people have cellphones if you need to reach them. As for childeren, once they are old enough to go on their own give them wristband or dogtages with their name and your cell number. Picking an obvious spot and giving the kids a park map with that spot marked would also help if they got lost. So unlike it's for $ 1 or so, i might buy it, but it's an unnessecary thing with today technologies and having a clear meet-up point.
