I hope it does indeed go ahead as It's been almost 10 years since their last coaster and this new B&M invert does look to have a pretty original layout. If you can wait 5 or 6 years YAS Island is planned to have a stop on the Abu Dhabi Metro Project which is intended to be linked up to the new Dubai Metro. http://www.zawya.com/projects/project.cfm/pid120607065900?cc But that may be a little late

Hey There are a couple of pretty good Mall Coasters in Abu Dhabi too. (included a couple of poor phone pics below) I really wanna get out there again and ride the Ferrari world rides and Spin Gear up in Dubai Where exactly is is Hili Fun City anyway? I noticed theres a new Zoo and Family park on Yas Island but never got to check it out when I was there. Shark Coaster at Marina Mall was slow but not a bad ride Khalidiyah Mall's rollercoaster is also a good fun ride (for a family ride)

Hey I believe there is a turntable after the brakes which turns the trains around in a way not unlike many logflumes. I'll see if I can dig up a picture

This is great news. I hope to visit Coney Island when i fly into NY for the "Road to Cedar Point" trip next year. If I ride this first it will make every other ride on the trip seem that little bit better

Hey Guys Latest news here is that the park has opened the motorbike coaster. The thing that completely slipped past me is that this ride is entirely indoors and features loads of effects and is described as a 3D coaster. It does an entire 360 barrel roll while going up hill before doing another 180 over the top. its like a zero-g-roll on steroids.

/\ not to be picky but it isn't in Dubai. it's in Abu Dhabi. The ride does look stunning up close. If i drive past during the day in the next few days I will try and grab a testing video

I Wonder... Could this actually make Mean Streak into a good ride? Also excuse my ignorance but why is the finale referred to as the Flying Carpet section?

This is the model of Ocean Parks new section with alleged new B&M Stand-up. Not sure exactly where the track is now but I think First Drop is probably right.

Whoop Can't wait. I Shall be at Oktoberfest for 2 days next week. Assuming all the attractions are open what would people suggest not to miss. Olympia Looping Apina Bahn are a given really but anything else a must see? There seems to be so much there and to be honest i am not entirely sure what quite a few of those rides are

Hey Put simply a credit is a roller coaster. The more roller coasters you have ridden the more credits you have. Each coaster is only one credit so riding a coaster twice doesn't count as two. Some people accept powered coasters as credits while some don't (thats a whole other argument there ). Hope that helps

Hey guys I am planning on visiting Phantasialand and Mirabilandia (italian one not brazilian one ) in the next few weeks and am wondering if anyone knows of any deal these parks might do? There are only 2 of us visiting and I know in the UK its fairly easy to dig up 2 for 1 deals to most large parks in everything from newspapers to packets of crisps. However I am unsure as to weather other parks on the continent do this much? No worries if not. But I would kick myself if I visited and then found a 2 for 1 deal on a bottle of Fanta Cheers Dave

Did some more research on the current expansion plans. However it also makes mention of the new Looping rollercoaster expected for the Thrill Mountain Section of the park. This model shows the rumoured B&M on the right hand side in a nice bright colour scheme with a lift and drop which utilise the terrain nicely. Hey guys Sorry no update on the coaster but i decided to look into the resort a bit more after i saw the view from that last GCI picture. I almost fell out of my chair when i saw some of the views so thought id share them Main Source: http://bbs.huanqiu.com/huanqiulvyou/thread-195691-1-2.html So thats a pretty cool entrance to the resort. Just one of the many waterfalls there seem to be around the site Look carefully in the top right... see what i see? So hows that for a view from a ride?.... Only one i can think that compares is Ocean Park in Hong Kong (this view is taken from the parks observation tower) They have one of those glass walk things out over the cliff edge too. ....... Now this is my favorite bit.... not the resort on the right.,.. but see that road on the left? Not a road... turns out its the feakiest resort railway i think I've ever seen... I've found pics of this thing going all over the place.... Now im not sure exactly where in relation to all this the GCI is going... but the rest of the resort looks pretty smashing
