  1. Nice pictures man, I never made it to the park this summer, not even when I was at the state fair. Nice to get a look at my former place of employment. Still looks the same.
  2. Looked like a decent fair, the coaster you rode started life at Holiday World. The picture of the Goat licking your neck is priceless. Good job man.
  3. Great Fair PTR, nice to see different things a fair has to offer. I go to the Ky. State Fair twice a year. First visit I check it all out, quilts, shows, displays, animals and the midway. Second visit I go and get drunk and ride the rides. A fair isn't a fair without all that fried, fatty, sweet, delicious food. Glad you had a good time.
  4. Holiday World is making itself known lately in the last few years. The park has grown tremendously over the years. I love Splashin Safari, one of the best waterparks in the world, and the Voyage is just amazing, actually put them on the map. I think this is a good addition to HW. Thrilling, yet family friendly, but not to terrifying.
  5. Hey man, that was a good first PTR, you took some good photo's. I grew up on the "Rock-O-Plane", one of my favorite childhood rides. Looks like a nice park.
  6. This ride is going to be a great addition to Holiday World, all the more reason to renew my pass. I'm only 15 minutes from SFKK, and a hour from HW, but I would rather visit HW. Holiday World has so much to offer, for so little, it's very economic now days'.
  7. Fantastic PhotoTR, definitely have to plan a trip to St. Louis. Six Flags for the credit's, the Museum for the fun. That Museum looked awesome, loved the giant Slinky.
  8. Awesome Photo TR, Holiday World is my favorite park. I live a hour away from H.W. and 15 minutes from SFKK, yet I buy a season pass to H.W. Just a nice relaxing, yet exciting family park. I agree with you on the coaster's, the Legends first part is great but when you hit the helix, it becomes somewhat unpleasant. The Voyage is great throughout the ride, the triple down section is the best. But like you I also think the Raven is their best coaster, just flows til the end than kicks your a$$.
  9. Man that was a great Fair PTR, love a good fair, there are so many crazy and fun rides. We have some lame fairs here in the U.S., European fairs look so much more exciting
  10. Nice Photo Tr, yet another park I want to visit one day. Would love to ride Boulder Dash , all I hear is how Great it is.
  11. Ravine Flyer look's like a fun coaster, and the park look's nice also. Great Photo TR, makes me want to visit even more.
  12. I'll put my 2 cents in and guess, a Giant Wheel. It is a relaxing family ride.
  13. I would count it as a credit. You ride up a lift hill, and then coast down the mountain. Yeah it's like a alpine slide in a way, but you don't take a chair lift to the top and then place your own slide and go. You ride up the rails and just take a "Scenic" coast down the mountain. Everyone considers the " Scenic Railway" as a coaster. It's about the same, both have a brakeman, and they coast through the course. The only difference is a "Scenic Railway" goes uphill also. But that's just my opinion
  14. Great PTR, Lakeside looks like such a cool park. What is the "Staride"?
  15. The "Northwest Territory" is most likely history for Six FLags. It's no secret that Six Flags is looking to dump KY Kingdom. Earlier in the year, Ed Hart was seen walking around with Six Flags reps, word was Six Flags was trying to get Ed's company to take it back. They turned the offer down, too much money. Who knows what will become of the "territory" or the park for that matter, but I don't think Ky. Kingdom will be around much longer.
  16. Loving the Road Show Big Mike, been very entertaining. No one should complain about updates and the same people, you have it all covered. Wish the "Big Mike Road Show" was making a appearance at Holiday World, would love to take part. Keep up the great "Show" Mike, looking forward to more episodes
  17. This is so sad to see, I remember walking by GRR everyday I worked. The "big boys" of Gaylord, back then, feel like donkey butts now i'm sure. Great pics, I'm a member of the Opryland yahoo group also and there is some great pics there. Opryland was a unique park that I wish was still here today " I would still be working there I'm sure".
  18. Very interesting ride indeed. Would probably ride it.
  19. Very cool report, looks like a very charming park.
  20. 18/20 The end stumped me too. My personal best score
  21. Happy Birthday Elissa, may you have a fantastic day.
