I went to Cedar Point that day and the park was packed because of it. I'm not complaining though (I'm a christian).

What is your favorite TV-series?
coastermaniac replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
I recently started watching Two and a Half Men while Charlie Sheen was still on the show and I thought it was a great, funny show. Now that he is off the show and Kutcher has replaced him, I'm still kind of sketchy about it. -

That's seriously what he's known as? That's interesting. -
I am shocked that the Ferris Wheel didn't fall over as a result of the impact. Glad to see that everyone is ok. I'm not sure whether to believe it wasn't 100% the pilot's fault or not. I'm not saying he purposely did it; just that he probably could have done something about it to prevent the impact. Still, I don't think it's his fault.

B&Ms future launch and 4d coasters

While I would like to see a B&M launch coaster, I don't want to see one come to Cedar Point anytime soon (they need something different). -

I've never been to Dorney Park so therefore never been to its Halloween Haunt; it sounds alright though. Thanks for sharing! -

That guy has been going to The Point for years. I always see him at the Red Garter Saloon. Usually, we only see him during Halloweekends for The Edge of Madness show. For the past couple of years (since I started noticing him at least) he always sits at that table. Speaking of, I saw him there last night. He was at the 8:00 show but suprisingly not at that table. However when we came back for the 10:00 show he was back at his normal table. Does he just go to the Red Garter and sit there to watch the show at each time slot? -

I was just at the park today. It was very windy today which meant that not many coasters were open (only Maverick was open when we got there which was about noon). By 1:00 Mantis had opened up so we decided to ride that because we were close and were able to be the first train out (line filled up fast because again, not many rides were open due to high winds). Enough about rides though; the shows at Cedar Point for Halloweekends are, in my opinion, great. I love them. We saw 'A Halloween Hullabaloo' twice, 'Sideshow - A Carnival of Magic', and 'The Edge of Madness'. They are all excellent shows. If you're not a big show person (which before I really wasn't), I encourage you to attend a showing of one of them at CP (at least Hullaballoo or Edge of Madness). They are really well done. Anyone else seen the shows and can comment on them? -

Blue Streak does seem to be smoother this season; it is certainly noticeable in the video (POV). -

My favorite spot on Blue Streak is the first row of the last car (4-1). It would be the very last row but that goes against what I say about wooden (and some steel) coasters...never sit in the last row of the car you're in because it's too rough. The last car has a lot of airtime. -

Blue Streak is an excellent coaster in my book. It has great airtime. I thought the trains just got some work done and a new paint job but they're actually new trains? The woodie is certainly underrated. Personally, I put Blue Streak higher up on my top coaster list than Maverick (Maverick isn't even on my top coaster list). -

I love Blue Streak; it's a classic woodie and Mean Streak is an alright, very good-looking coaster. A nice, big wooden coaster 'wood' look great along the beach. -

Cedar Point's last three coasters are launch coasters (Wicked Twister, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick). I want to see something different for a new coaster and not a B&M launch. I wouldn't mind seeing a B&M coaster put in; just not a launch coaster. -

I don't know how different the crowds are at CP, but if they are similar then it should be semi-crowded this Saturday but not as crowded as it will get in later October. -

I know the targeted audience for the Fast Pass. It stinks for everyone who doesn't get Fast Pass because it just makes the lines longer; that's why I don't like them. -

I go to parks kind of often so I don't necessarily need to get a fast pass. They are also quite expensive so that's another factor as to why I don't want to get one. -

Right now I'm a bit sketchy about Matt because of the whole fastpass thing. Hopefully he'll start doing some good things next year. -

He said 'no day during the summer even compares.' As I already mentioned, I didn't say that the park can get AS crowded during the summer. I said that the park get pretty busy during the summer. As crowded as Halloweekends? No, but it can still compare. -

Then you obviously haven't gone on enough peek summer days; trust me when I say that it can get PACKED in that park between late July and mid-August. As far as Raptor, I ride Raptor during early entry because it is usually a walk-on during that time. Also, I try to catch it on my way out (typically an hour before park closing) because usually there is a short to no wait for it. I NEVER wait for it during the day because it can get such a long line. The reason being that during the morning and afternoon when people are coming into the park they see Raptor (being the first big ride they pass) and they want to ride it so they get in line (hense the long line). By night time like an hour before park closing, people are leaving the park and don't want to ride another big ride like Raptor because they are too tired or something like that (hense the short line). I have everything down to a science for amusement parks. -

^ I said I've never seen the park that busy on an opening Saturday. I've seen the park busier than that later in the Halloweekends season.
