  1. I've gone on the first Saturday of Halloweekends for many years now, and I don't recall it ever being THAT busy like this past Saturday was; it was outragous.
  2. Well I've heard from countless people that Club Blood is pretty bad so that factors in to why it's not so popular.
  3. Went to the park yesterday and got in right at 11:00am (Platinum Pass early entry). We did Raptor right away, line was only on the stairs. Then we went over to WindSeeker and had to wait until every seat was filled (never did that before) so hence it was a walk-on. Then headed over to Millennium which was about a 25-30 minute wait. Dragster was next with about a 45 minute wait. Magnum was close by so we did that, about a 15 minute wait in the station. I did Mean Streak right when it opened around 2:00. We saw A Halloween Hullabaloo at 2:30, good show. Then we just lilly-dallied until the parade at 4:00. Eerie Estate was our first haunted house we did. We were the second group in of the day I believe to go in. It was good as usual, great theming. We headed over to Happy Jack's and waited about 30 minutes. That's another good one that we like. We ate at Hurricane Hannah's. Since we were up there, we decided to do Club Blood only because it literally had a 5 minute wait; otherwise we wouldn't have done it. Then I did Blue Streak and then saw Sideshow - A Carnival of Magic at 7:00; it's an alright show. We booked it to the Overlord at 7:35. Then we saw The Edge of Madness at 8:00; in my opinion, it's a good show but previous years have been better. It doesn't have a catchy beginning like the past years. After that, we walked through the new 'Screamworks' fright zone and it was alright; seemed to not have as many sreamsters as last years 'Fright Zone' but still good. Then we walked through Carnevil; I always like how it's in Planet Snoopy and you get to see the kid rides not going in the dark. Terror Island was next and the theming is still great in that. The new Blood on the Bayou was next; I really like the new location and that it's under Iron Dragon and even a bit of Mantis. The theming in that is great as well. After that I did Power Tower and Blood on the Bayou again. Corkscrew had no line so I lapped that 5 times (I was just killing time until I had to meet up with people). On our way out, we decided to walk through Fear Faire. There were literally no guests in site besides the very end when we caught up with some people as they were walking out of the attraction; so hense Fear Faire is not very popular. I think they need to put a new, more thrilling walk-through there. It's great space to use but Fear Faire isn't pulling in the people. We left the park around 11:00. Overall, it was a good day. However Pointfest made it busier than it should've been but I'm not complaining. I did all the rides and haunted attractions that I wanted to so I was satisfied.
  4. Anyone who is planning to go to Halloweekends this season, are you honestly going to get the 'Zombie Tour' thing? I mean it's $75! I thought Fast Lane at Kings Island was a lot for $50 but $75 is ridiculous. What are your thoughts about it?
  5. I figured that's how it would rule out. I think I remember you from previous years, at least I'm pretty sure I remember that mask.
  6. Well that makes sense since I don't think anyone would want to be 'thrown' over the top causing way too many g-forces. And still, I don't really think it's an actual "launch" because of how slow it goes up the hill (before slowing down for the crest of the hill).
  7. Well I'd have to say the least forceful LIM 'launch' is Mavericks first hill at CP. I don't even know why they consider it a launch; sure it has the launch system on it but it goes quite slow for a so-called launch and it even slows down as you approach the top.
  8. I read a comment (not on TPR) about how Hershey is now an animal killer. It's not their fault that the park flooded so quickly. People who make comments like that just piss me off.
  9. I've never been to Halloweekends on a Friday before and am thinking about possibly going on a Friday this year. How crowded can it get then? I'm guessing it's less crowded than Saturdays.
  10. I actually thought the same thing. It was worth paying nothing to see!
  11. No not a clue. The only thing I could guess is that they changed it because the person running it changed. Alright, just wondering. I'm pretty sure, however, I saw other Cedar Fair halloween events' websites this year are like last years Halloweekends website.
  12. Camden Park looks like a good, fun little park.
  13. ^ I'm excited too. Do you happened to know why they changed the Halloweekends website? I liked the one last year a lot better when it had music and the 'scrolling' left and right effect.
  14. On the days that I went this year, it didn't seem crowded at all. Even though I didn't actually go to it, from what it looked from the outside it looked pretty much empty.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97dagZYtARY My latest vlog!
  16. It's understandable as to why TTD has such a high annual maintenance cost, but why Mean Streak?
  17. I've always liked how different parks had different names....I guess those days will be over soon enough.
  18. I live in Cleveland; is it worth the trip?
  19. ^ So theirs is different than Cedar Point's?
  20. Raptor, it seems every time I visit my home park (CP) the last coaster I ride that day is Raptor.
  21. Those are some great photos. The park looks great (I've never been).
  22. Maverick, any wait is too long for me for that ride. Other than that, I would have to say about 2 hours for Top Thrill Dragster. It really depends on the day of how fast they can get trains in and out (like most coasters) depending on the speed of the ride ops and such.
