That makes sense; I've never been on a trip (at least not yet) but I'm sure it can get annoying if enough non-trip-attending TPR members show up.

How come you don't publish a schedule ahead of time? Just wondering.

These are some great shots. I, too, try to take some good pictures around the park but these just blow mine away.

What parks are going to be visited during the trip and on what days will they be visited? I'm just curious but can't find a list anywhere on TPR.

My father is the one who got me started riding roller coasters. I can ride them non-stop all day. On days that I go with him, he can ride a few big coasters and then start to fall back on them (not ride much more that day).

I guess it makes sense.

^ Well my money is limited so that's why would not want to spend the money on Fast Lane. Like I've mentioned, if too many people get one then it can really affect people like me waiting in the regular stand-by line.

I'm going to the park next week (Wednesday and Thursday). Typically, how crowded can the park get during the week at the end of July? According to Bkkman13 who had just gone there, he said that it wasn't crowded at all. So I'm hoping it won't be crowded either when I go.

I just hope they do something with SoB rather than burn/tear it down.

I just love how some of the GP don't know ANY coaster facts to save their lives. I still hear people say how TTD is the tallest AND fastest in the world; right when I hear that I just wanna yell at them!!!!

Raptor was my last coaster; a good coaster, even as I'm walking out of the park.

Quick question: for the 'Road to Cedar Point' trip, what day will they arrive at Cedar Point? I'm not part of the trip, but may want to meet up for a bit that day if I can to personally meet some of the TPR enthusiasts.

I wish they would've gone with the Disney approach and only allow you a one-time fast pass ticket every so often throughout the day.

I've only ridden SoB in July of 2007 so I wasn't able to ride it with the loop. Personally, I didn't find it too rough. I guess it was part because I was just so excited about the ride, and part it was four years ago. I hope they can fix up the ride to wear many people can enjoy it. As far as 'Fast Lane', even though I can only get to Kings Island once a year (if that) I don't have the extra money to spend for the fast pass. So my biggest concern is that if people are allowed to have unlimited re-rides with their 'fast lane' passes and currently (at least to my knowledge) there's no limit to how many people can get the passes each day, it seems like the stand-by lines are going to take outragously long to get through. That's why I'm really not liking this whole deal. They need to do it like Disney and only allow so many passes to be distributed daily or else they will have many disatisified customers.

To me, this sounds like the Flash Pass is just a 'proto-type' at KI. I'm guessing that they will just experiment at Kings Island for a period of time to see how it goes. If it is successful, then they will probably branch out.

I have a trip planned to KI next week. Why couldn't they have just started this the week AFTER I went?!

^ Well I believe it was during Halloweekends. I waited because I am one of the few people who actually really enjoys the coaster; I don't find it rough at all.

If I remember correctly, it was no more than two years ago that I waited in Mean Streak's switchbacks; almost the entire line was full.
