I agree; I think they need a nice large inversion-based coaster. -

Knowing Cedar Point, I doubt they would do anything like that. -

I love floorless coasters because they are just so fun. What Cedar Point needs is a high capacity coaster. As much as I love flying coasters, there are two reasons why I don't think Cedar Point needs one. First, they aren't very high capacity and two, KIngs Island already has X-Fli...Firehawk; Cedar Point needs something that you can't get at a nearby park. -

Well on their website, there are many hotels that are 'featured' but no campgrounds. -

^ So there's no camp area associated with Kings Island right near the park? -

Does anyone know if there is a camper place at Kings Island like 'Camper Village' at Cedar Point? I can't seem to find anything on their website. If there isn't one at the park, is there a camp site close to the park? -

Just for the record, I took someone who had NEVER been on a roller coaster to Cedar Point last Tuesday. I took him on Mean Streak and he really enjoyed it; just saying. -

It's one thing for something like Dinosaurs Alive! to maybe travel from park to park every year but to build one at multiple parks and to have them stay there for years...just seems a little ridiculous to me. If they do want to build another Dinosaurs Alive! attraction, build another one in a park across the country like at Knott's in California...not in the same state. -

I HIGHLY doubt that the new attraction for 2012 is a coaster. If you think about it, there's a lot of prep work for building coasters. I mean, for Dragster they already had a good amount of the tower built before the end of the 2002 season. So realisticly, there's about a 90% chance we won't be seeing a new coaster next year even though I'm still hoping for it. -

Expect Sunday to be very crowded; weekends are usually crowded now anyway. Monday shouldn't be as crowded but still crowded due to the fact it being early August. -

Rode WindSeeker twice at the park today; it was fun. It isn't too fast but the height is excellent. -

I was just at Cedar Point today and they had to announce the opening of WindSeeker tonight?!?! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait until next time I go so I can ride it. -

Cedar Point tends to store a lot of coaster cars in the middle of Mean Streak, I'm guessing to work on them. When I went to the park on Memorial Day as well as June 8th, I noticed that in the middle of the coaster there was a car that looked just like one of Corkscrew's cars but it was yellow with a hint of purple (Corkscrew's train colors are red, white, and blue); I knew it wasn't from that coaster. I thought for a second and I realized that it could very well be from The Double Loop from Geauga Lake because its coaster cars were the same color. I'm not sure if it's still there but can anyone comfirm this? -

I agree, many times when I go to Cedar Point I don't even glance at it when I pass by it. However, I did ride it this past Wednesday and it still is a fun, neat, little coaster. -

That's what I don't like about Cedar Point; it's a bit too compact. If only they had more room to build rides. I know there are people who are thinking, 'they have plenty of space left to build rides' which they still do. It just seems like everything is so close together. That's why I love going to King's Island because there everything is spread out; the reason being that they arn't land-locked. -

If they removed Wildcat from the park, what other coaster is going to fit in the tight space? The ride that Robb posted pictures of looks like it would be too large to fit in that area, unless they used part of the space in front of the big screen which they probably wouldn't do. It's just a difficult space to work with. -
A video of my friend that I made. It was totally random and made up on the spot. Be sure to check out my other videos too.

It seems like they're pulling a 'Shoot the Rapids' with WindSeeker...not getting it open until about the middle of the season. -

So I've heard that Memorial Day can be a pretty slow day at the park; can anyone confirm this from past experience?
