The park president last off season said that they planned to eventually replace the trains on TW but for now they were focusing on the 3 year retrack/reprofile -

I'm well aware where Bicentennial Square is. I was just clarifying where exactly. -

Supposed to go where the games building is South of Joe Cool Arcade (the building the Blood on Bayou queue line went behind during Haunt). Thunderhawk is gone. -

Not only that, but it looks like it was designed by a 5 year old. It's not "bad" it just doesn't look very... professional? Clearly you've never been to this park to witness the rest of their logos. This one is on par with the rest. You could probably check out the park gallery on TPR to see them. -

^That's The Underground. Indoor wooden roller coaster. More of a scenic railway/dark ride then a real coaster -

CF fanboy and apologists are the ones who need to chill. If someone does not want to visit a park anymore because the park has failed to add any new thrilling rides in the last decade to their attraction mix then that is their call. They don't need to 'chill' or do anything. All they need to do is visit a park that is offering what they want. VF is a business and not a charity. If the park wants that customer back then they can build a new coaster or big thrill ride at least once a decade. If not, the park can go another direction and offer a mix of rides or attractions that will attract even more than they think a new coaster or big thrill ride would. Really? Can you list a couple of these problems? I am curious to see what they are. You know, it's nothing personal about not planning to visit VF anytime soon. For instance I'm not renewing my SF pass next year. Nothing against the chain but my local park is only adding a super loop and that does not create a need for me to have to go next year. I plan on visiting other parks instead and you know what, that's just fine. I'm renewing my WOF pass because I'll use it at Cedar Point (and I really enjoy Haunt). -
That One Ride You Just Can't Enjoy...

Wow... Sounds like you're having a terribly sad time enjoying amazing coasters. Sucks for you, dude When you've ridden as many as I have, you don't have to "like" a coaster just because everyone else does. There are much more satisfying coasters out there for me. I understand that, and I know coasters can be overrated. But saying you can't enjoy Maverick or I305 is insane to me, and that's coming from someone who's ridden a lot of coasters as well. How many have you ridden? EDIT: Also, needing to go completely against the grain on popular opinions doesn't make you cool, it just invalidates your opinion. Never trust anyone who "hates" the Beatles! You may not think I305 or Maverick are the best coasters out there, but there's no way you just can't enjoy them. I think it's so dumb when people are anti-Skyrush or anti-Maverick or whatever... Like those are the worst coasters on Earth or something... Probably a good thing that I don't care about "being cool" then. Skyrush would be another coaster that I cannot enjoy. EDIT: Reread your post. I crossed the 650 mark this summer, so that a and some change. I haven't ridden Maverick with the new harnesses so it might be better now, but the pacing of the ride is not enjoyable to me. I305's grey outs are not fun. I don't enjoy that. I've tried all the high g tricks (that work with aerobatics) and haven't been successful at minimizing it on I305. Sorry not fun for me. Voyage has never been fun for me. I rerode it this summer going it was better and nope. I don't like rough wooden coasters. This one is rough and stupid intense. Sorry for being spoiled by Outlaw Run now to where I demand smooth woodies. For the record - Timber Wolf and The Boss are horrible in my book too. Skyrush bruised my legs something fierce. That should be self explanatory -

1. Maverick 2. I305 3. The Voyage -
Not with a 54" height restriction it won't. If they're looking for a family-accessible attraction, a big bad B&M is out of the picture because all types are at least 52" except for the new family inverted coaster. Fi-re-cha-ser. Fi-re-cha-ser. Fi-re-cha-ser. My goodness, I want more of those things in the world. SDC already has one B&M, a 2nd isn't a huge stretch as the maintenance staff loves how WildFire is a lot less temperamental then say... PowderKeg (and even Outlaw Run to some extent)

Mystery Mine project (though SDC's was to be themed to an Ice House) was scrapped. This time they are going with B&M. This year is mild changes, but you'll see a major new access road constructed for Echo Hollow so the "bigger names" they are bringing in for concerts now can bring in their tour buses more easily. 2017 will see a mild retheming of Grand Expo and that large new coaster, though uncertain if it will also be in GE area.

^Because they HAD to. You can't neglect basic upkeep forever and then expect it to be cheap fix. I'm still not sold on VF ever getting huge influxes of CapEx at one time. Even the transcript reads that way. I'd definitely caution those who are VF fans foaming at the thought of a Carowinds sized expansion coming to your park. It won't happen. -
