  1. Basically taking all of the coaster rumors that have been posted, adding in the fact that CF likes to ride the wave one year after said coaster addition. Then the idea that has been thrown around that they won't add more than 2 dark rides a year. Not exactly rocket science and I did explain that up in the original post
  2. Does the park not have a Blood Shed or CornStalkers like most of the parks in the chain? They have both of those. Exactly. Which makes the notion of an indoor barn section for Hellside redundant
  3. My preferences: 1. Outlaw Run 2. New Texas Giant 3. Goliath 4. Iron Rattler There are only 6 currently in the USA right? (and then Medusa in Mexico)
  4. Actually they have been limiting the amount of people allowed into the loading station this season by cutting off the line at the stairs that cross over the track (the "DUDS" staircase cutoff) and this has really helped with the overcrowding issues in PowderKeg's station. I think ThuNderaTion's is worse as everyone comes up the stairs and just automatically gets in line for the front and then the back rows have no one.
  5. Not everyone lives on coaster boards. The general public have no idea that the name has been discovered and they will eat up the upcoming teaser campaign. You have to remember that there are more than just coaster nerds visiting the parks. Even though we like to think that we are the majority, we really are the minority of those that visit parks
  6. After doing some research it appears the only difference is the trains allow for higher capacity.

  8. Nope, no coaster that year, sorry. Smart butt. But you missed up - that's the Dark Ride list.
  9. It has a vertical lift hill and a 101 degree drop. Doesn't make it a Eurofighter? or does Infinity refer to just the train type?
  10. I also figured that a Eurofighter or a Boomerang would be the next coaster at this park. This is a great addition to this awesome little park. With that being said - who would love to see a Lightning Run style coaster show up here some day soon
  11. Just some random observations from the park: 1. Carrie's Candles is looking really vacant. Do they even do demonstrations anymore? 2. Most of the shops in Midtown/Centertown look really temporary anymore. There are also a lot of closed buildings now. 3. The Opera House has been empty more this year than ever before (yet the AC is still running -- odd) 4. With that in mind, it seems the amount of live entertainment this year is much less when compared to previous years. 5. There are torn down Flooded Mine boat trains on the back lot. No wonder the lines are longer this year. 6. A lot of the signs around the park (you know the quirky ones) have been disappearing. 7. The men's restrooms at the bottom of Hill Street appear to finally be done with their rebuild. 8. There seem to be a lot of new faces within the ranks this year. A lot of the older citizens (or long time citizens) are not back this year. 9. Grand Expo is looking really rough anymore. While some of the elephants have finally received attention there is plenty more that still needs major help here. 10. The amount of ECV locations in the park seems higher this year. 11. The amount of demonstrations in the park appear to be in the single digits. The broom makers near Powder Keg left already (they said not having a show in Opera House hurt them majorly).
  12. Probably a coaster. I think the dark rides will be going to all of the bigger parks (CP, KD, KI, Carowinds) first before coming to the smaller parks. I could see them getting a coaster in 2017 or 2018, depending on what other parks get coasters that year. Well let's think this through. 2016 coasters -Cedar Point -Canada's Wonderland 2017 coasters -Kings Dominion (?) -Valleyfair (?) I fully believe that CP and CanWon will take 2017 off with roller coasters coming in 2017. Dark Rides (IMHO) 2017 -Worlds of Fun -Kings Island 2018 -Carowinds -Cedar Point 2019 -Kings Dominion -Valleyfair 2020 -Great America
  13. There sure is a lot of wasted space around the new Samba Tower. I hope that is only temporary as space is a premium in that park.
  14. If you work at the park it is one thing. If you are a guest it is a completely different thing. I don't agree with tattling to Dave, but that's your call. The appropriate action would be to fill out a complaint form at Guest Relations if you need to do something. I just don't agree with the whole taking it upon yourself to enforce the park rules.
  15. Please don't go overboard trying to "enforce" the rules. While it can be annoying for a park guest who obeys the rules, it really isn't your business to do that. I just don't want you to go all "elementary hall monitor" and end up getting yourself in a situation with another park guest. It's best to just roll your eyes and ignore it and move on. You being upset at the guest for breaking the rules will only ruin your day. I do agree though, it is annoying when people break the rules (line cutters are my pet peeve at parks)
  16. Expect a quiet year in 2016. Timber Wolf will be starting its 2nd year of retracking (of 3 years)
  17. Nothing ride related for 2016. Look for some major changes in 2017.
