Tempesto is far from a mediocre ride and you're comparing apples to oranges when comparing WOF to BGW. Of course Tempesto is not considered a top tier coaster there, you have 3 B&M coasters and a high tech launcher. I fully believe a Tenpesto clone would do well at WOF - would I like a full circuit anything instead? Sure, but I feel this is a step in the correct direction.

Oh yes he has. I remember he said he wanted a launched family coaster and I remember thinking, "oh boy more family rides". That could mean a Pony Express or an Italian Job like coaster. Heck, Maybe even Manta at SWSD He pretty much stated something like what they added to BGW so that probably nixes what you mentioned.

Yep. It's also no secret that the park GM wants a launched coaster next. He's stated the fact numerous times.

While it is not something you can put in a brochure, the park has been investing heavily in infrastructure upgrades the past two seasons. - new pipe work all over the park - new electrical wiring - Voyager got new fiberglass in troughs and the pumps were completely renovated - new kitchen / freezer area at food court by Sunken Fountain - bathroom upgrades

Yeah, it is really sad that Adventureland will be getting a looping coaster before every cedar fair park excluding Cedar Point and every six flags park excluding discovery kingdom(excluding super loops because you wouldn't count it if valleyfair got one), plus they will be getting one before other great parks like dollywood and holiday world. I like how Valleyfair fans complain because adventureland is getting a coaster for the 1st time since 1996 and they aren't getting one too. You must be new to this thread. That's kind of their go to schtick. You're really bringing the mood down, man. Here we were having a great time getting overly hyped about nothing and you just kill it. Wow. Beautiful photo. It's going to look even more amazing once Valravn is complete!! I can't wait for my visit next summer. Not sure what heaven looks like but can't be too far off! Cedar Point really is a coaster riders oasis. This picture makes me want to book a trip today And the two best coasters in the park aren't even in that photo! Mine train and Corkscrew, right?

The park will be busy the rest of the season regardless when you go. While Sunday will be less busy than a Saturday, I'd still expect a big crowd as most schools in the area are getting out Friday for the holidays. Might check weather. If it gets too chilly none of the big rides will be open and I'm guessing that's your sole purpose for visiting and not the shows (though the two Broadway style shows are really good)

Honestly, it would make more sense to just move all of the waterpark elements over by Hyena Falls back over to the main waterpark and just be done with it.

There is absolutely nothing that supports any of that and especially the part about being done with Carowinds. If anything, they said the exact opposite in the last conference call regarding Carowinds

WOF is not a seperate ticket event. In fact, I think only Scarowinds is on that list
