  1. Santa will be in the River Blast station this year and the Rudolph characters will be in the carousel barn.
  2. Not sure. All I know is here at WOF, all of Mazes (excluding 2) are in permanent structures and they do not get torn down after the season. We have 2 outdoor mazes, but Cornstalkers stays up year round and the stalks are replaced yearly. London Terror (which is also outside) stores it's props in various buildings during the Haunt off season. Asylum Island is the only indoor haunt that gets torn down - it is housed in Chickie and Petes in OOF. To me it just makes more sense to have permanent structures. It allows for more detailed mazes, as can be seen in Blood on the Bayou and Zombie High - our two newest mazes.
  3. KBF is the original so it will always have that "flagship stamp" on their Haunt, but the person in charge of Haunt for the entire chain is based out of WOF, which is why WOF's is the best or bare minimum top tier in the chain for Haunt. If you like Skeleton Key, thank WOF. That's where the idea originated.
  4. So just because I think it's the worst Intamin that I've personally ridden, I'm supposedly "on drugs"? Noted. smh
  5. B&M - Iron Wolf or Vortex (pick one) Intamin - I305 GCI - Wildcat
  6. The money will be going towards all the changes in the back. As soon as it gets through the red tape the money will be sent on that.
  7. It really depends. They obviously don't run as many trains/carts/boats on slower days and most rides will only have one attendant so it can slow things down with regards to dispatch.
  8. It's a Trap! I did this when I was in college with my fraternity and it was horrible. Most of my brothers ended up in Calico and the turkey leg stand. I got put in the Fudgery there in the main store because I could run register (they're set up a lot like the ones I used working at Walmart). The worst part about working there is seeing the behind the scenes of food services at SF. Let's just say I haven't ate at the park since. Oh and don't get the candy apples. Trust me.
  9. Just remember - if the flyers aren't going to do it for you next summer, you can travel down 35 and ride The Monster at Adventureland
  10. Would you rather me say "some random dude at Valleyfair " told me this or that? Ive been friends with Dave for over two years after he called me and invited me to come and take a private tour with him. That was after i sent an email to Cedar Fair giving them some suggestions for the park. I call him Mr. Frazier on this forumn out of respect. Im being accused of lying and now stalking? All for speculating and having some fun on TPR? Ive been wondering for awhile why you always want to pour cold water on everyone's post. Maybe that's your "thing" but maybe you should try to be more positive! It will be interesting to see what the new entertainment venue will look like. Also im looking forward to seeing the show! Ive seen this act on America's Got Talent and they were pretty impressive! Would you prefer me to call it "severe name dropping to attempt to elevate status on TPR"? I mean I'm friends with local park GMs too but I don't feel like I constantly have remind people of this fact in every post. I mean it's cool that you've befriended Dave but your posts always come across as you thinking that your privileged because you "know" him. As far as being positive in this particular forum - why? VF continues to prove my pessimistic viewpoint of the park to be correct year after year. Every year posters in this forum are convinced that THIS is the year they are going to get a new coaster. I say "nope" - they pout - they call me names - they start foaming again. If you've studied this park even for a small sampling of seasons, it's not hard to figure out how they do things.
  11. I've been wondering for awhile, do you actively stalk that poor man when you go to the park? I just ask because you are literally the only poster on here that constantly talks about how Mr. Frazier told you this or that. I mean it's cool if that's your thing, but all I can think about when I read your posts is "leave that poor man alone" ----- Back to VF. The addition doesn't surprise me. It does make me wonder if the chain is rethinking VF as a major growth park.
  12. I must have missed in the press release where they talk about the new coaster, the frisbee and whatever else that was thrown out this past week. It was just the Eagles like we've been saying most of this season. Watch 2017 be more waterpark stuff (which is still needed).
  13. Sounds like Mad Mouse should be moved and placed indoors then if it is so moody
  14. Has anyone gotten any response from this past weekend? I sent them an email Monday night and haven't heard squat. As it says on the website, please allow a week for a response. Especially if there's a time that they're jammed with web comments... ...however... ...once you get to that eighth day, go ahead and absolutely flood them. Flood their social media. Flood their phone lines. Flood their web comments. Flood the forums. Tell everyone you can. After today, I'm too burnt out to pretend to care anymore. I'm not going to apologize for any experience you have. I'm not going to help with any issue you experience. Absolutely hold them accountable. Be reasonable, but after they don't respond, call the media for all I care. I understand where youre coming from. This forum is just a trash heap of needless negativity and I wonder why I check it every day just to see the obligatory Iron Boss/Hyper Coaster posts or people complaining in detail about the issues they have with the park. I swear, no other forum on TPR acts like this, it's just this one. I've gotten kinda sick of it. Check the Valleyfair and Darien Lake ones.
  15. I would imagine Tuesday at the earliest. It would get buried in the news from the weekend on Monday.
  16. Why walk into it then in the first place? Or do you just like complaining? He's probably an eternal optimist like myself. We always hope that the situation has changed (or at least improved) but we find out that isn't the case once again and leave the thread. FTR, I do wish VF well - but sometimes the foaming gets so ridiculous that it forces me to type a response.
  17. Well it's obvious they are delaying the announcement because now the park is getting the flyers, plus... 1. A Mondial Frisbee 2. A ride like CanWon is getting 3. A B&M gate coaster 4. A Trio-Tech Dark Ride 5. A water park expansion with 3 new towers and a funnel slide Foamers be foaming. *rolling my eyes*
  18. I guess I'm just a pessimist. I see scooters and that's it for VF.
  19. You guys are getting all defensive over nothing. The complaint that was mentioned is that some riders had been experiencing "rougher than normal" rides on one of the two trains. They aren't saying OR is rough. Just when you are used to silky smooth rides from OR and you get jostled more than usual on one train and not the other then people question "why"
  20. From the park: the dark ride will be located where the current games are in Bicentennial Square.
  21. 3. Works with the park and was involved with the marketing package development for the ride.
  22. I think they learned their lesson after the countless problems they've had with Mondial while watching Six Flags blow them out of the water with a similar ride. Not saying they're gonna buy a Starflyer, just saying that, if they're smart, they won't throw more money into the Mondial toilet. Oh Mr.Expert on everything, you are quite the funny face. You realize Adventureland built one too and hasn't had ANY issues with their ride, correct? Yeah, I figured you forgot about that installation
  23. Like I said, it's only the one train that's producing the rougher rides. The other train is still producing pretty smooth rides.
  24. "Very rough" is a phrase that really can't be used to describe Outlaw Run. No, the ride isn't silky smooth like it was on opening day, but there are no huge jolts. A few bumps along the way, sure, but it is still smoother than any other woodie out there. For OR, these were very rough rides. I know you don't know me from Adam, but let's just say I'm well acquainted with OR and have been since its conception. Something's out of alignment with that train. Did not matter if the row was odd or even.
