  1. Well it would a Herschend creation so I doubt it would be boring.
  2. I imagine B&M will do anything if the price is right
  3. The Outlaw Run survey also had some ideas that turned into what is now Firemans Landing. The Dive coaster fits within the perameters of the current rumors
  4. Anyone get the new future rides / attraction email survey? There are numerous options mentioned but I thought these two would pique your interest...
  5. Last year the fountains worked under Thunderhawk but they no longer get the gondola wet. From what I have been told, Finnish Fling will be painted. Also - this year marks Patriot's 10th anniversary.
  6. All photos from Worlds of Fun dot org (Facebook) Thunderhawk is still standing TimberWolf retracking TimberWolf retracking Snoopy Junction, Kite Flyer and Moon Buggies Beagle Brigade Airfield Woodstock's Gliders New wood on Finnish Fling (rotor) Krazy Kars (kiddie bumper cars) are no more
  7. I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if they might actually be synchronized to the midway music. It would be an awesome touch from the park, and not that hard, or expensive to do! The only thing that makes me think they might NOT be synchronized to music is the fact that the lights keep repeating the same like 5 second program. If they were synchronized to music I think we would be seeing a lot more different "show." Test pattern maybe?
  8. They almost behave like they are cordinated with music.
  9. Beagle Brigade Ace really opens up the area where the kiddie haunted house was located. Copyright: Worlds of Fun (Facebook)
  10. I thought it was pretty obvious that it was going to be film based?!?
  11. It is all dependent on the weather. With the unseasonably warm weather we've had this winter, I imagine that will continue into April and that will drive larger crowds. World Fest last year was packed and the usual "they're only there for the shows" did not really apply like it had in the past.
  12. So they have OTSR restraints like Maverick now? Is that in addition to the T-bars as they're still there?!?
  13. Let's at least give credit to where you took the photo from. This photo and photos of the Timber Wolf retrack and reprofiled can be found on Worlds of Fun dot org 's Facebook page. Wrong. WOF and Worlds of Fun dot org posted two entirely different photos. Please check your facts before calling out other users and hurting their credibility. Doesn't change the fact that he failed to give photo credit regardless of the source. Check and mate.
  14. Let's at least give credit to where you took the photo from. This photo and photos of the Timber Wolf retrack and reprofiled can be found on Worlds of Fun dot org 's Facebook page. Yes, the photos can be seen on Worlds of Fun dot org's facebook page and Slides should give photo credit, but he took this photo from Worlds of Fun's Instagram. Which was taken by the person who runs WOF dot org's Facebook page (and then shared by WOF)

  16. Which is fine and dandy - but considering that your age demographic doesn't usually have a lot of in park purchases, forgive me for realizing that if they want to have a successful event they are going to have to offer activities for families who would actually spend money in the park.
  17. There's no way they can compete with SDC What would make you think they would be competing with SDC? I would think that a winter event like this would attract more local people than people from within other parts of the state. I don't know many people who vacation in November/December and if they do they go somewhere warm on the water. Who the F*** cares???! I didn't know that so many of us would be traveling to Disney next Holiday season. With this train of thought, let's be honest guys: Our park is a sh** hole compared to Europa Park, so we should just stop trying. Although I was bummed out that this wasn't the rumor about our upcoming hypercoaster, I still thought this was pretty neat news. HELL, even I might go! (but don't count on it) Pretty obvious you have never been to Branson in the Winter months as PLENTY people vacation (or more correctly "holiday") down there - and lots from the metro area. If you honestly think that HITP at SFSTL wouldn't be compared to SDC's OTC then you are delusional. As far as your other hyperbole - yes SFSTL is a sh**hole park compared to Europa Park - it's a sh**hole park compared to parks a lot closer to home, including the other two in the state. Should they stop trying? No. Should they actually put in the effort to have a quality attraction? Yes. For starters they could at least try to model their events after the two proven events in the state. Mainly HAUNT at WOF and OTC at SDC.
  18. Weekends (when warm) will be pretty busy. Since there will be few to no shows and several shops still closed (until World Fest) most people will be there for the rides. If you must go on a weekend, Sundays will be better then Saturdays.
  19. Yes but if SFSTL is going to try to go toe to toe with SDC for Christmas crowds they're going to have to try harder. Shoot, they already lag far behind WOF when it comes to Halloween.
  20. ^Lets be honest though. The shows are good for a Six Flags park but pale in comparison to HFEC and Disney.
  21. There's no way they can compete with SDC
  22. Yes you can do it. I've visited Carowinds and Kings Dominion before on the same day
  23. Its impossible to do both parks in one day. I think you meant improbable.
  24. Yes, but the distance between the two won't allow you to do both parks justice in the same day.
