The park looks fine. Until it looks like SFMM, there's not much room to complain about looking "run down" -
Huh? Why does that mean all the theming goes in the garbage? They could have put it right back, and placed new theming. Instead they left a bare metal roof. It's one of those things that isn't a huge deal, and of course most people won't notice, but after years of this happening all over the park it's looking more bare and generic. SDC used to absolutely blow people away with how detailed and immersive it's theming was - it was literally like stepping into a whole new world. Just a different attitude now. And if I haven't pointed it out yet, in this case they are obviously playing this ride out of the park. By essentially hiding the entrance, not replacing things, and only making the bare minimum repairs to keep it going they are allowing guest's perceptions of it to slowly fade so that they can justify ripping it out and replacing it with something else. That's another completely different attitude from the old days when a ride with so much detail and history would be considered sacred by the Herschend family. You were the only person I've seen that has said it was thrown away. (Far from proof) Even if it was thrown away it doesnt mean it wont be replaced eventually.(The park has far more important projects to focus on before the park opens then themeing) I doubt Flooded Mine is going anywhere anytime soon. They just added a new roof, a new roof last anywhere from 10 to 20 years. It would be incredibly stupid to put a roof on a building to get rid of it later. Everything has a shelf life

Pretty sure we already know what's coming next year as the park has made no attempt to make it known that the Troika and Condor will be added this year -

It's always had the "Dinn shuffle" but before last season it was extremely bad. Now the first drop, turn and second drop were very smooth. Now it'll be up to the helix after the work this off season -

There had been talk about new rolling stock for TW once the revamp was complete - don't know if that's still on the table or not -

Nor do I hence why I rate the Rattler below it as that slammed me side by side resulting in very hurt ribs and a hurting back and debate whether Mean Streak is worse or not. If it is supposed to be a family friendly wooden coaster, why does it have the same height requirement (48 inches) as Prowler? Why does WOF rate it as a 5 (Aggressive Thrill) and the Prowler as only 4 (High Thrill)? Also why is it not listed under WOF's family rides & Family Attractions? Considering its established reputation of having injured riders (an 11 year old boy in 2014 not to mention the 1995 fatality and the 1990 train collision), I hardly consider this ride family friendly. Say what you want to about the Boss, no one has died on it yet nor numerous injuries big enough to capture press attention. The Prowler by definition more accurately fits the family friendly claim per is superior comfort, shorter height, and spotless safety reputation, that is why many of us "self proclaimed thrill seekers" like it. Not every coaster must rip our faces off and have our heart shoved up our throats, we just expect the additions to do what they are intended to do and to do it well. The Timber Wolf needs to be re-imagined in order to accomplish this. The fact is many of the coasters that I have listed are smoother and provide a superior riding experience. The ones that are not make up for it with heavy intensity. To be rough and have no intensity offers nothing to me, maybe the work helped to address some of the roughness, but it will eventually become rough again without much intensity to excuse this weakness. There is very much a place for family friendly rides, hence why I wish they would have kept Zambezi Zinger instead of Boomerang. This is also why I prefer the Zambezi Zinger to Spinning Dragons as I prefer not to be on the verge of barfing after riding a coaster. Can I ask a favor? Please read the entire post you quoted before replying as it answered your questions.
