It's really great to hear a company be so upfront and public about their design. That was a pretty entertaining read. -
Photo TR: Theme parks in Florida

I've finally have seen photos where vignetting works pretty well throughout an entire collection. I've seen some photos where it works pretty well individually but never so many in one collection. I can't lie: you abuse vignetting but it works so well. Please don't take me as critical (I'm complimenting you here). I really appreciate some of those wider shots! Keep it up! -

That first picture is the only truely clear photo I've seen where it makes it obvious how the element will enter and exit without studying the ledgers (partly due to track now being there but mostly because of the resolution, lighting, and color, and zoom). It's a lot more clear when the photo is better. The ledgers descending from the double up aren't new but the ones going up the turn are new since last weekend. Did anyone see how they left some structure around the descent from the double down? Why? Maybe that's going to be a headchooper moment? One of the things I have been most excited to see is what they will do with the final third of the layout where the track goes under the structure for one last lap around. One of the first things RMC did to Mean Streak was cleanly cut off the old supports for the turn underneath the one that went over the lift. You would never have known it existed because of how cleanly they cut those supports off -- you'd think they would've already built/cut out supports for the upcoming section when they worked on the turn over the lift. Soon, we'll see them cut into or add onto their own work. I'm not calling this second inversion a stall - it's way to quick to be a stall. I don't define a stall by the way it enters or exits but by whether or not it provides a sustained moment of airtime or hang time. This element is upside-down for a matter of two ledgers... Has anyone noticed yet that this element is essentially an EXACT copy of Maverick's stengel dive? It even has the same turn leading into it. Just add some banking and it would be the exact same element. Hence why I'm calling this element a Stengel dive. -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

^She called him an asshole. Read that again. -
The former would be my best guess. However, I'm just going off by feeling and don't have anything to support that, which brings me to an important point: this isn't really a great topic either. The whole Cedar Fair standards regarding not relocating/not relocating rides within the chain is pretty controversial too... nor is their isn't sufficient evidence to conclude anything about their policy, and the assumption must be made that policy can change... TLDR: you're inquiring about a pretty null topic

I never understood why people find I305's airtime to be "extreme ejector". It was good ejector air, but nothing more, and not really spectacularly intense. El Toro eats I305 for breakfast in the airtime intensity department. However I won't even attempt to debate that I305's positive-g's are a class of their own. I havent been on Skyrush, so to me, nothing closes remotely close to I305. In fact, I found the positive-gs uncomfortable and detracting from the ride. Positive-g's aren't really my thing to begin with. I'm pretty sure the RMC will be my favorite as their work so far has been more my style. If the ride feels complete, it lol edge out Volcano, just because Volcano feels like it ends prematurely, and I wasn't too impressed by I305, so there isn't too much completion there. -

This. I even found the ride itself a ton of fun. -

Those are my thoughts EXACTLY, but with hotel Breakers recently, Valravbird last year, Cedar Point Shores this year, and Mean Streak in 2018, and now an Intamin soon, this whole thing seems like a pipe dream. It's really unbelievable. I always thought Cedar Point was especially aggressive in their additions, but these past few and upcoming years are looking ludicrous. I really think a dark ride flume (on the level of Chipas, not neccessarily Splash Mountain) would kill two birds with one stone. Cedar point is lacking a good lengthy flume and a dark ride. However, I don't know if it will happen given the investments lately. At the same time, it wouldn't surprise me if it did happen, as the theme lately seems to be going all out, so I don't see why they'd stop at this point. I'm torn, honestly. -

RMC was only involved in the construction of El Toro and T-Express (and only those two, according to their portfolio here), while the prefabricated parts (most notibly the track, but also anything else, such a catwalks or parts of the transfer table, that in particular might be fabricated, shipped, and then assembled on site) were built by Cordes Holzbau. RCDB lists the coasters they built here. Note how they were involved in all but one of the Intamin Plug-n-Play's (T-Express). I don't suppose RMC even had a manufacturing warehouse then, or if so, it would have been small and young. They barely had enough in the early days to comfortably handle their first I-Box and Topper Track products. I had to do a bit of deducing to find out what role Cordes Holzbau played, but their portfolio is here if you want to look at exactly what they say they do. They specifically mentioned they provide pre-built, machine-cut track, and catwalks, amoung other prefabricated parts, which, other than for the two parts just mentioned, they left pretty open the interpretation of exactly those parts might be. Case in piont: RMC wasn't indispensible in the Intamin Plug-N-Plays. They could find a new construction company if they desired (and I'm pretty sure parks decide this anyway). In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Intamin brought back the Prefab wooden coasters just to compete with RMC. I'm more surprised that the Intamin Impluse coaster is making a return than I would be if the Prefab's starting showing up again. Personally, however, I think (and hope) this will be a flume ride. -
You're not the only one, so don't take the blame. I'd be entertained if you could really prove your source, because that is exactly what I meant by "coming to this thread to enjoy credible information". New information is always exciting and freshens up the speculation, which always seems to get wild after a little bit, leading us to speculate more in the right direction. I never claimed to quote a source. I'm making speculation base on contents made by Ouimet and things I see going on like condtruction. But I don't need to sit here and argue about it and make hay so I'm sorry. My apologies. I had you confused for the author of this post, whom I will leave anonymous:

Did anyone see the thread subtitle? Geez. I agree completely with Bill. So far he has been the only one with a realistic analyzation and prediction without stretching a single bound what we have been given. Otherwise, ninety percent of the last several pages have been filled with posts attempting to support a prediction based on the given information that has been skewed in such a way that it best fits yours and only yours perfect dream. Seriously. We have plans for CGA that show an Intamin impulse coaster in the exact spot where markers are today and confirmation from a conference call that CGA has begun said twenty-year plan and (some of) you guys still vehemently disregard and deny that information. Like Bill also said, the information released concerning the other three rides is too ambiguous to conclude anything about (except we can appropriately deduct two of them are likely RMC Mean Streak and RMC Hurler) but still there has been rampant speculation over the last. Speculation is fun and all but it's pointless to uphold your prediction like some god-given doctrine at this point. That's just my two cents. I want to come and enjoy this thread to learn more credible information about these four roller coasters but can't when most of it is Dippin-Dots level stuff.

I'm a fellow cheap-ass! I really appreciate this thread. I was planning on taking several road trips this summer for another hobby, but I really may consider cancelling all of them and taking a couple of park trips for the same price (as long as most of the parks are six flags's, as I have a season pass). Damnit coasterbill lol. You've opened my possibilities too much. I'm really not sure what to do now. This isn't the first time I heard about Frontier Airlines. I stumbled on it upon independent research shortly after my SFGADv trip. However, it was too soon after my trip to care and I didn't want to bother my parents again with a trip so shortly. Thankfully for my wallet, I have forgotten about it for the past two years.
