I think you guys are reading too much into this; it's only the animation, which is never 100% like the real thing. I think the catwalks won't have the excess part for the scoops because Valravn won't need them -

*looks at KD thread Everything looks ok here *logs off TPR *logs on 2 hours later *looks at KD thread WTF happened? Come on guys, did we really get into the weekly routine of arguing whether or not KD is getting a coaster in 2017 again? -
For me at least, the first drop of GL, the loop, and basically the entire first half is good and enjoyable. The second half is like being in a car accident though. Really compact and fast transitions, lots of headbanging, as well as a lot of stress and pain on your legs make it horrible. I don't know why someone thought it was a good idea to make a seating position that concentrates all of the g's on a coaster to your legs and still make the layout rather intense. I used to ride it every time I went, but I refuse to go on it anymore because it's not worth waiting for, and it gives me a headache for the rest of the day which isn't worth it. But that's fine by me, because that gives me an extra hour to go ride El Toro or something

I don't know how it works at CP, but a ride op at Gadv told me that they take some sort of analysis test to see which ride they would operate best or something like that. Depending on your answers you could get assigned any coaster -
2 Days of Windy... Carols?

^Yeah, a friend who moved over to Ohio told me about that too. It's a great deal, plus I've heard those things are a lot of fun! -
Green Lantern is definitely skippable, and so is Superman to an extent. The pretzel roll is intense as heck especially in the back row. But other than that, not much is interesting. Honestly, I look at that coaster and see a lot of wasted potential. Though they were tight for space, I feel that they could have done more. It doesn't really take advantage of it's unique perpendicular heartline except for the pretzel loop which everyone agrees is by far the best part of the ride. I wish they incorporated some different elements, especially lie-fly elements. I know it was an early model and was pretty much a prototype like the wingriders today kinda are, so they had to play it a bit safe, but if you want an example of a flyer that unlocks its potential, go ride Sky Scrapper (or is it Starry Sky Ripper? I forgot). That thing takes advantage of it's seating, and looks incredible. Superman is still a fun, relaxing coaster. And it's butter smooth too.

2 Days of Windy... Carols?
Coaster Hero replied to Imagineer Josh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I see. That's a sneaky way to brag . I actually was fooled. Also as for the slingshot, though I've never been on one $25 dollars is a bit much. It's the cost that prevents me from doing one, as I usually don't bring too much cash to the park. I know at some parks it's $15 dollars which is a lot more reasonable. $25 dollars is over half the admission to most places -

2 things 1. Great TR! I like the unique angles you got, I actually saw Fury's station up close for the first time in these pictures, as well as the lift up close and the weirdly shallow footers. 2. How in the world did you get away with bringing a camera on Intimidator? Don't you get in trouble if they see your camera on the ride-photo? Did you possibly get permission? -

Well, it's a bit early but CF has given no indication on what's coming in 2017 by having attraction info leaked yet . It's safe to speculate for now -
Something like Valravn, previewing the coaster before it's built is a "yay" for me. But nothing beats the actual coaster experience IMO, so "nay" in that regard

This is incredible, It's so all insanely detailed... a few environment settings modifications and you'd be competing with real life how good those photos look. Fantastic job! -

I doubt we'll be seeing another pro animation. I think we'll see another set of "No Limits 2 combined with real life" style concepts, which is definitely not a complaint. Those first teaser images were really convincing, and that was a very creative approach. Also, those trains -

I'm telling you right now, Wingriders have not reached their full potential. There, I said it. Looking at the design style of these wingriders it seems B&M is playing it very safe, more than usual. Wingriders are all about the exaggerated horizontal heartline which makes any banking transition more intense/exaggerated. Right now Thunderbird is probably the one that uses that to it's advantage the most. Most wingriders have been about the inversions, but a wingrider that takes full advantage of the winged seating instead of just having inversions will be incredible. Think something with a lot of banking transitions and s-hills, as well as Zero-G rolls with different lead ins and lead outs. The wingrider despite being built many times still feels prototype-ish and I feel that when the right client goes to B&M to build another wingrider and they're ready to take the next step, the wingrider concept will completely evolve -

The trackwork isn't perfect but if the real thing is anything like that recreation, it's going to be one hell of a ride. -

I would rather ride Steel Force than Kingda Ka, unless I'm in the front 2 cars of KK. Honestly the front row is the only way to go. Anything but the first few rows is rattly as hell. Plus because of the way the entrance to the station is set up, the line is always longer for the middle/back rows and the second and third rows are usually quick waits, around 1-3 trains. The very front is freaking amazing though. To put it into perspective, if the second row were a 1, the front row would be 100. It's that much of a difference. Much smoother ride, seeing the entire track (I'm aware there's stadium seating but still), and all the wind in your face make it so much better But yeah, I've never understood why there is such an enormous gap between TTD and KK since they are very similar. The only real things that would differentiate the 2 in rankings are the restraints, the roughness, and the extra height and airtime hill. -

Unbelieveable behavior. I feel bad for that ride op for putting up with all that. Seriously though, if they want to start a situation over long lines, they should try waiting for Kingda Ka... now that's something I wouldn't even want to see
