Zach, I know you've probably talked about it in the past already, but how is it that you swung free Hyatt stays again? We have a Hyatt Visa card. It's the card we use the most. We pay for almost everything on the card and we pay it off at the end of every single month. We've never paid a dime of interest and we usually stay about 8-10 free nights per year, with plenty of points left over. I have no idea what the interest rates are, because we never put ourselves in a position to have Credit Card debt. I think we have a $75 annual fee. It took us three years to get to platinum status, which comes with perks like suite upgrades. We usually hold anywhere from 50,000 - 100,000+ points on our card at a time. You get double points for food/travel purchases. Hyatt Place: 5,000 points/night Hyatt Regency 7,000 points/night Hyatt Grands are 10,000-20,000 Hyatt resorts 20,000 per night The Hyatt places are like a nicer Holiday Inn. The regencies are really nice, with well stocked bars, better gyms, and nicer pools. The Grands are usually beach front, or destination locations, with all of the amenities. The resorts are just awesome. We also get one free night/year for the hell of it. They also recently added flights, cars, and other travels to their points plan. However, as you can imagine, it pays off the most to use it on their hotels and resorts. I think we tallied up two round trip non stop flights to Charlotte and it was going to take up about 40,000 points. Thanks, Zach, that's great advice. I really need to look into more brand-specific credit card reward systems rather than just my basic cash rewards card. I have a Chase Sapphire Reserve, A Chase Freedom, and A Discover IT, the last two have rotating 5% back categories . These are my go to, everyday cards. I've got others that had large sign up bonuses and offer something g like annual points or a free hotel stay that negates the annual fee like Southwest and Marriott. There is a Marvel branded cash back card that offers 3 % on: 3% Back: For every dollar in eligible net purchases (merchandise purchased minus returns and adjustments) ("Purchases"), rounded to the nearest hundredth, charged to your Card for Purchases of dining, select entertainment and for Marvel Online and Convention Purchases. Select entertainment categories include Movie Theatres, Video Rental and Game Stores, Theatrical and Concert Promoters, Amusement Parks, Digital Entertainment, Games and Software, Music, Books and Newsstands, Toys and Hobby Stores. -

The day after the Pulse shooting here in Orlando, the local Chick-fil-a made national news. The staff and managers came in on a Sunday, fired up the fryers, and made food for the people waiting in lines to donate blood. It was definitely a One-time thing, but it made me like the company a little better than I did. The local Chuck FIL A here has opened on Sunday before to feed (for free)the power company Linemen working to restore power after major ice storms in the past as it is near a typical staging area in such events. They still overwhelmingly employ teens, teaching them impeccable customer service and manners while instilling work ethic. -

I would like to add hundreds of roads in Northeast Arkansas are closed as rivers hit All Time Record flood levels. Many from the southeast use US 63 to get to US 412, it is now closed as of today west of Jonesboro. -

An fyi for those going soon. SDC is up and going along with Branson but the area around it has received an ocean's worth of rain recently. So, lake and river levels in the area are high. I-44 was shut down for a while earlier this week. That said this coming weekend looks like the best weather for weekend visit so far this year. I'd plan for sizable crowds as the past two weekends have been frog stranglers. -

Do they ever offer two park combo tickets? -
Animal Kingdom is a fantastic park, my favorite. I've always thought Indiana Jones wold be a great fit for this park. I wish they would expand the animal aspect a bit more with an Austrailia/New Zealand area with the unique animals found there and an indoor coaster inside a forced scale replica of Uluru/Ayers Rock. I think it's missing a couple more rides. Can't wait to do the night time Safari, so excited to see this place at dark, all of it, not just Pandora. I was thinking Shanghai may also usher in an agreement for Pandas

Shocked we haven't seen six flags water park resorts like Great Wolf especially at existing resorts considering g the old operating model went out the window with Fright Fests and now Christmas events. If they want smaller feeder parks, I'd suggest Magic Springs, water park already there, perfect place to relocate used coasters and add some flats and a cheaper new Woodie. Any season pass gold holders have Atlanta, Dallas, and St. Louis to weekend trip to, which would feed the indoor water park resorts with a 10 to 15 percent season pass discount rate.

Just a head's up, this place appears to be installing a Snowflex complex and if they do build the second phase, you'll be able to snowboard year round. Just look up images and videos of the Liberty University Snowflex facility http://www.snowflex.com/news/combs-family-ventures-missouri-adds-snowflex-its-summer-attractions-branson/ -

A quick question. We have no intention of renting a car when in Italy. We had planned on 2018 but pushed back a month in Europe till 2019. We will be taking the train from Venice to Milan, so my question is. Is there a shuttle to and from the station to Garda land and is their lockers for luggage to rent at the station if we decide to go for a day before continuing on to Milan. -
The bumper cars are a real let down, I have seen the bull themed cars before and the went with those? We'll be in Rome early June 2019. I have considered trying to squeeze in a half day here for the coaster. But, it being open is the biggest question. With it being a bit of chore to get to. It may just get skipped even if open.

Seems like getting all the retailers on board with leases was one of the big hurdles. I kind of get that, I wouldn't want empty spaces for my grand opening either. Let's get this straight: Nick universe theme dry park DreamWorks themed water park Ski slope SeaLife/Lego combo New ToysRus flagship store (will it have a ferris wheel?) Kidzania Giant wheel on site but outdoors All by the end of 2018, yeah right. I have a theory is that they are delaying the bond because they want to bundle it with the Miami project since they got NJ to allow them to go the Wisconsin route.

All schools in NWA are out as well. Very large school districts. When you say NWA, do you mean this week or next? Also, Springfield isn't the largest school district in Missouri. Though it clearly is the largest of importance in the area. That "honor" belongs to KC, then STL city, then Francis Howell in St. Charles. I work for the FHSD...and our spring break is next week. And...we're coming down worth another family. I'm expecting crowds. Thankfully I'm also going early June...when it should be somewhat quieter. Either way...I'M HANKERIN' FOR SOME COASTERIN' They are out this weekend (18th) thru next (25th) -

We remodeled our itenerary and I booked a two night mid week stay at Starlux. So... we decided on Morey's obviously. We'll have a late afternoon and a whole day at Wildwood. But... we are going south from there to Norfork so we may stop at Ocean City for a bit on our way to Norfork/Virginia Beach. -

Might stop just to do this( quick dash) as we love the multi level go cart tracks and some ice cream to say we have been there. Are there manned toll booths on the Jersey turnpikes ? How much in change will I need if not? -

I don't live in Philly, this is a vacation that starts in DC/Baltimore I'm doing a bit of a circle with BWI as the starting and stopping point. I have gold season passes for Six Flags so not going to Great Adventure is not an option as it is free. -
Trip Advice: Atlantic Seaboard Piers

Appreciate the replies, the original plan was to go from VB to Ocean City MD and stay 2 or 3 hours mid day and then head to Wildwood/Moreys and close down the pier and stay the night. Head to Six Flags for the next day in Jackson and then on Philly that evening. But...we decided to catch U2 in concert at Philly. I knocked off the nite at Wildwood in favor of get settled in Philly. I want to hit Six Flags and El Toro and that other coaster up during the day and back for the concert that night without having to get checked in and situated in Philly in between. -
Doing my planning for our Summer family vacation I have a transit day from Norfork/Virginia Beach to Philly. I do not want to backtrack thru Virginia as we will have been to DC and Williamsburg already. So going up the coast is my goal. We will leave Virgiania Beach between 8 and 9am but I want to stop at one boardwalk/pier along the way to spend 3 or 4 hours at and break up the trip with fun. Ocean City makes the most sense but excites me the least. It would also allow me to head to Philly thru Wilmington DE saving time and ferry expense. Wildwood I think would be the best but that requires the ferry from Lewes and may cut down on my visit time as I will not be staying the night. It would allow me to hit up Dogfish Head for a couple of beers before the ferry trip across though. Or, I could cross and skip Wildwood and Morey's and hit another area like Seaside Hieghts before cutting over to Philly. Which would you choose if you had time for just one and had never been to any of them.
