  1. A Star Flyer seems a no brainer, wrap a steel coaster like a custom euofighter around it Talk about a place for the Polercoaster concept. Amusements like the building in NYC need go up to maximize the limited space
  2. That would be amazing!! That way those who want spinning can ride, and get spinning, while those who can't do spinning can still enjoy the ride without the spinning!! 1:40 mark on this video
  3. We can hold out hope SDC opts for the dual train concept Mack has where one train spins and the other offers forward and backward fixed seats as seen on that concept video of the compact launch coaster.
  4. I think it needs a woodie two years after opening in 2019.
  5. More and more public schools in the area seem to run after Memorial day these days. Being a combination of lack of snow days and having to make them up to just running longer. For Example, several large districts in Northwest Arkansas are "open" till June 7 even with the "traditional" calendar and then there's the year round schools that are mostly elementary and middle schools open till the middle of June.
  6. The area is very hilly, it's in the OZARKS. Bad brakes are bad anywhere but really bad there.
  7. You mean, like: No, outsourcing IT jobs to India after the election we just had. Big Headlines on nationlist Breitbart site. Gets more hits than most any other news site
  8. Also of note for New Orleans is that it is getting nonstops across the pond. Condor via Frankfurt and British Air via London Heathrow
  9. So, the facebook page sez there rides will come from Zamperla.
  10. Carnival may be in for a bit of bad press coming up due to a business decision that I would say is bad in timing on their part.
  11. For the Orlando location, this is Kissimmee.
  12. Waiting on a park to get that and the shuttle feature like ZDT's all in one.
  13. This is a theme park that actually holds services in it's chapel on Sundays. If you are uncomfortable with the Christian religion, particularly evangelical protestantism, this park might not be for you. Especially during Christmas.
  14. The newsletter will be going out soon. We weren't happy with the newsletter service provider before so we made a switch. The rides will be annoounced in upcoming newsletters and social media updates. We actually have announced a few but will reannounce them. The rides for opening are geared towards families. The thrills will come later. When you say family rides first guess that means no coaster? Is the owner still hoping to add an Oz themed area?
  15. When will the newsletter go out and when will the rides be announced.
  16. I wonder what they have up their sleeve for 2018 or 2019. They don't seem to like standing still.
  17. How do you build something out in the open and keep it secret? Vekoma should do a better job. This is like the US Air Force bud a next Gen stealth bomber and giving factory tours while it's being assembled and not expect anyone to notice.
  18. Hope they are planning on planting some trees! I'm they'll plant lots of trees that are 6ft tall and we'll watch them grow
  19. Spinning wild mouse or just a wild mouse. This park already has footers https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CwWgtsZXgAEY-r7.jpg Quite the surprise for the Redneck Riviera. Which begs the question, what happened to the proposed Blue Collar Park by Jeff Foxworthy for the Foley area. Nevermind, this once was the Blue Collar project http://www.al.com/news/mobile/index.ssf/2015/05/poarch_creeks_take_control_of.html
  20. Creek Tribe to build this in Foley Seems Zamperla will have a big presence
  21. In local news, Fritz's Adventure has announced their grand opening: http://www.fritzsadventure.com/
  22. Yea, but this is made right up the road.
  23. Wow, so many great parks there. You should see 2019 and 2020 plans.
