  1. I actually have Coaster Works for my Dreamcast. Here's my mini-review on the game as I've beaten it. Basically, you start off with a simple coaster you have to build, keeping G's in check (If I remember right). After getting your coaster scored, you advance to the next level, where you are given a new 'ability' such as being able to do loops and banks. The final level is like a "Sandbox" mode where you build whatever you want with no objectives to face. You can bend the track in any direction, yet your workspace is still limited...(So, no hyper coasters) FPS is very smooth, yet something could have been done with background colors as the grass had a pukey green look. Personally, I thought it was a fun game and would keep you busy for a few hours to unlock the last level. It's not a No Limits level simulator but it did it's job on the Dreamcast.

  3. My GBA SP is motion sensitive. Ok, my Wario Ware Twisted is motion sensitive. Was Nintendo the first to come up with the Gyro-Sensor thing? I ask because of Kirby Tilt -n- Tumble and Wario Ware Twisted. (Not sure what other Gyro-Sensor games are out there) Personally, I think I'm gonna have to go with the Wii. Why? First off, Nintendo has always caught my eye. (No, not being a Nintendo Fanboy) Of all the consoles, the Wii has the most unique controller although I'm a bit concerned on how Smash Bros Wii is going to work. I don't want to have to re-learn Smash Bros again as I was able to transfer my skills from the N64 to the Cube with no problems. Otherwise, I think they have a good future ahead of them. Infact, I sometimes mess around with this wireless computer mouse remote as it closely resembles a Wii controller and hold the handheld trackball in my other hand. (Yes, it's gotten that bad )
  4. Also, I've noticed the "PTR" acronym get confused with "TPR" as it has the same letters, mixed around, like "Hey, I'm gonna post my TPR of SFMM"
  5. Blue pants (Yes, I didn't quite celebrate No Pants Day as it was kinda cold) Black Riddler's Revenge shirt White socks Black Adio shoes White undies
  6. I celebrated No Pants Day bright and early this morning and will celebrate it again tonight until midnight.
  7. Let's see...right now, they have 5 Intamins: Disaster Transport, TTD, MF, Jr. Gemeni, and Wicked Twister. This will be their 6th Intamin.
  8. What spyware program are you using? I'd probably recommend using Lavasoft's "Ad-Aware" program as it's easy to use. On the other hand, WWS is currently not loading up. I get this message: HTTP/1.1 New Session Failed Without knowing anymore, I'm assuming that someone tried hacking it again...but the site could just be down and you have spyware on your computer. Spyware will do all sorts of weird stuff to your computer just to let you know.
  9. Random thing: "Mommy, Johnny oozed my Wii with his Oozinator!" So many things sounding gross these days....
  10. How about having a Tatsu Water Dummy oozinating on innocent bystanders admiring the ride as the trainload passes by. OMG! I checked out the reviews for the Oozinator at Amazon.com and one of the reviews had me laughing...the guy who reviewed it wasn't quite referring to the toy it's self...
  11. I'm pretty positive that it was from the CD drive. The only case I've stuck it in since I removed it from the original was those plastic "Disc Saver" brand cases, where the cd just rests on the little button and the lid snaps shut. The CD is only sandwiched between the back and cover of the case. Most of the time, it's in my CD drive as I'm frequently playing the game.
  12. I have several things to vent out: 1) Gas prices suck! They're now $3.25 and still rising 2) I HATE ALLERGIES! They're so screwed up as I keep constantly sneezing and have a runny nose. 3) I'm still ticked off at Atari...it probably costs them $0.30 or so to make a copy of a RCT3 disc...they can't do a single thing about replacing them like we would be able to do with the past RCT series. 4) Last but not least, I have a headache...I feel like
  13. Found this on Wikipedia: World Jump Day sounds like a load of BS to me too
  14. Does wearing shorts count as not wearing pants? Technically, shorts aren't really pants afterall.
  15. I was talking to some of my friends today and they have had similar issues happen to them. They told me that once I see a hairline crack, make a copy as that crack will eventually grow (like my RCT3 disc) and crack on the silver area, similar to a car's windshield: A rock hits it, small crack. After a while, the crack begins to grow and next thing you know, there's a nice crack crossing the windshield. My RCT3 disc must have had some kind of tiny crack that eventually grew maybe due to stress and rapid spinning (like the mythbusters thing). Found a link to a cd explosion that you were talking about. They used a dremel, got the disc spinning at a nice speed, and smacking it with another and Kaboom! You can find it here. It's quite funny to see the cd launch up a ramp, go flying over and still continue spinning when it lands.
  16. I've been looking at the Gamefaqs.com boards and found countless topics of people whining "I don't like the Wii...I'm not going to buy it now" and stupidness like that...however, I did find something quite enjoyable and random based on the Wii:
  17. Today, our art class took a trip to a local abandoned cemetary to create an earie drawing and to brush up our still-life drawing and perspective skills. I decided, "Hey, I'll bring the camera incase I don't finish drawing it or shading it." So I did. I figured from there that I'll make a PTR out of it. This cemetary is somewhat maintained but no one visits it anymore to pay respects to lost loved ones. A result of that is a leaf-covered crooked grave stoned quiet bug-infested cemetary. Gravestones were cracked and actually re-planted where they fell of. Walkways were shifted up and down, all uneven...at some points, the ground was just leaves filled with spiders. So, onto the photos of what it looked like and what I was drawing. I was hoping for more pictures so you could get a feel of the place but my batteries died shortly after taking these few pix. All and all, it was a relaxing session of class, except the fact that I had mosquitoes landing on me like crazy...which I learned a new use for my metal ruler: A fly swatter! Mr. Lizard says "G'bye!" OMG!! LIZARD!!!!11!!one!!1 Here's what I had started...My perspective skills were cookin' today! Same shot, in B&W for drawing purposes. No, I'll do this. I'm in the shade, you can see the cracked stone that was most-likely replanted on it Hmm...do I draw this?? Nah.. Was I standing at a slant or is this grave stone crooked? (I held my camera level with the rest of my body) A bunch of stones baking in the sun
  18. Some may have seen the topic I had in the RCT3 section about how my RCT3 disc cracked on the inner rim. I have it somewhat resolved and questions answered so I just deleted the topic as it was useless. I figured I'd post it here instead as this issue is more of a background to the question I have to ask. Is it possible for a CD ROM drive to crack CDs in the center (Where the motor spindle thingy grabs the disc and spins it)? My RCT3 disc mysteriously cracked between yesterday and today. I'd rather find out so no more of my CDs/DVDs get eaten by my drive. How could I fix it if that's the case, or is it just a matter of replacing the drive as a whole? Now, for those who wonder what the results were on the RCT3 issue, I e-mailed Atari Tech and turns out that I spent my hard-earned $40 for nothing. (Well, a year and a half use out of it). They told me that they don't replace the discs and recommended that I buy RCT3 Gold...like they need more of my hard-earned cash. I found out that I could use my Wild disc to play RCT3 but still am at a loss if I need to reformat my computer. I just hope my CD drive doesn't crack my Wild disc.
  19. Yea, try this link. I think you should find it there. If not, check the stickied video request topic on the video forum. Check the list and see if it's been posted on the already-been-asked coasters...if not, then you can post your same exact question you had there.
  20. This also works if you just glance at it and read it quick.
  21. -Arachniphobic (sp?) -Work at a DVD lab -Probably the only coaster enthusiast in my city -Still have my working Atari 2600 as well -Also have SNES, NES, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy pocket, GB color, GBA, GBA SP, Gamegear, Genisis, Playstation (old gray one), Dreamcast, and Gamecube.
  22. I just picked up 2 TPR-approved critters today at a local petshop. They're only 3 weeks old and are quite relaxed. As they're both males and are also brothers, I decided to name them Mario & Luigi. (I'm so hooked on games as you can tell...having a dog named Zelda and now 2 rats named Mario and Luigi.) Elissa can't have me either!!! It'sa me, Mario! And no, Elissa can't take me!
  23. Space Mountain (DL) Big Thunder Mountain RR (DL) I'm also going to say Expedition Everest, though I never rode it but from what I saw in the video, it looks awesome. Medusa (SFMW) I love that parking lot theme!
  24. PGA needs to get a real coaster as their last true coaster was built in 2001. (Psycho Mouse)
  25. Searching Google video, I found this parody of the Nintendo Wii and thought it was a bit funny. It will probably get a laugh or 2. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2451501724520612004&q=nintendo+wii&pl=true Wee!!! Oh yea, there's a bit of profanity at the end but nothing big. (Just the F-Bomb)
