  1. First off, you have to know perspective. If not, your coaster's going to look messed up. Once you have you have perspective down, draw the track as just a simple box shape...(Basically, a B&M spine with no cross ties or rails). Detail it later. Draw the trains as boxes as well until you know it looks perspectively correct. This pretty much goes for anything you draw; basic shapes, finalize later.
  2. Now I know...The original photograph was 'mirrored' when it was put into the "Roller Coaster" book.
  3. Right now, photoshop...in reality, I used smelly "get you high" prismacolor markers.
  4. Superman: The Escape was a waste of metal in my opinion. The Discovery Channel overhyped it to death with this '6 seconds of weightlessness' which the only weightless I felt was that weird feeling you typically get after riding a disorienting coaster. If I want to go fast, I'll just go take a ride on the freeway as that's exactly what it felt like. I'm glad I didn't wait any more than 15 minutes for it.
  5. I'll keep this coaster within this topic as well. We're still scratchboarding so I decided to do another coaster. Those who were in the chat room last night (Pacific time last night) would know about this as I asked what coaster should I do. Well, here's a start...I hope it's coming out ok, but personally, I think woodies on scratchboard have better results. Photoshop preview with colorvision! (Well, it's definitely going to need color as parts kinda blend together) Current state
  6. How are those twisty slides anyway? Do you get some pretty good wall-time on them?
  7. Just knock out the tallest coaster...once you get over the hump, literally, then you will overcome your fear. You could always close your eyes on a ride, which I used to do when I was young.
  8. Why doesn't he just put some barb wire on a Vekoma's OTSR's and take sevaral rides..maybe he'll finally learn his lesson after the rapid headbanging.
  9. Mini Update! I didn't get much done today as I was busy but I managed to throw in a few more things. Last one for you videogame buffs...DK Barrel Rolls. Looking at this brings back memories of playing it on my atari. SideBoob Mountain Railroad, originally was going to be Sideboob water park. Random SLC shot
  10. I actually enjoyed Windjammer as it was the only racing coaster I rode, the only Togo I rode, and was my first inverting coaster I rode. I actually found it fun and believe it or not, smooth.[/i]
  11. You all have seen WillMontu's RCT2 park that's in the works, which has inspired me to make an RCT3 version with similar/not-so-similar features as it's RCT2 counterpart. Areas in the hopper are: VG Island- An area themed to the classic video games. So far, I have a wild mouse titled Pac-Man's Pac-Attack and am thinking of making a "Donkey Kong Barrel" Ball coaster (Those who played the original DK would kinda understand. Vekoma Valley- A valley filled with 3 Vekoma favorites and a custom Vekoma that failed by accident, which was left...this came to the name of "Valleyin' Vekoma!" Entry Plaza-McDonalds of course, A B:TR, and random set of stairs that go nowhere. Also, a LAN center will be there mainly for park guests to check TPR's forums for live RealTime TR's and chat. (It'll be an empty building with the TPR logo on it) Water Park- Every TPR Member seems to love water parks so this will be in there as well...there will be "Slides of Death" which will consist of unsafe waterslides. I give credit to WillMontu for the inspiration/ideas. More ideas will spring about later. Now, here's some screens of what the park looks like. I have Vekoma Valley near completion, Entry Plaza's started and a coaster for VG Island that's not an island quite yet. Please note that this isn't an attempt to be a cheap ripoff of the RCT2 counterpart...this is simply an RCT3 version as I liked the idea! And this is why it got the name. (And I was too lazy to rework the track.) Valleyin' Vekoma's station house. This coaster was originally gonna just be a custom coaster but it valleyed...you figure it out from there. Hang 'n Bang Express going up the lift. Vekoma Valley! Waka waka waka! I am pac-man...watch me spin! (VG Island's first coaster) Where will this take me???? Absolutely nowhere!!! B:TR...wait a sec. Did you think it was Batman: The Ride? Well, it's a Bench: The Ride! B:TR's queue Let's start off with the entry plaza...can't go wrong with McD's
  12. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/2006/04/dvdoverhead.html Guy gets his head stomped into a DVD-R several times until it finally shatters. From known experience, I know that snapping DVDs by hand can hurt as my co-worker tested a bad disc's 'flexibility' several times until it 'exploded' everywhere while his hand hurt. I feel sorry for the guy who had his head used to destroy the DVD.
  13. This actually gave me the idea to make a TPR park on RCT3. I kinda started one tonight with a traditional McDonalds in the main park plaza with a Vekoma section called "Vekoma Valley." Ideas I have so far are: TPR LAN center designed for checking TPR forums McDonalds (Already built) Stairs to nowhere Ghetto fairgrounds area Rodent area Classic video game area
  14. And they leave the poor guy sit there...that's messed up.
  15. After the recent themepark haunting discussion here on TPR, and the idea of PGA having some ghost-related activity I have a new idea for this Photoshop contest... SOME MAY TAKE OFFENCE TO THIS. IF YOU'RE EASILY OFFENDED, SKIP THIS PICTURE OR TURN BACK NOW! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Ok, you got this far so enjoy! The effects of trespassing...
  16. I never realized they had a watercoaster. Well, I've never been there either...just passed it on my way to my aunt's house. On the other hand, I'm still waiting to see what's up with the so-called "California Splash" also known as Shadow Cliffs. The site hasn't updated it's self since last year, which is making me wonder if they've even started any construction.
  17. It all really depends on the brain tumor. They can and will get worse as time progresses as they have these 'roots' that dig into the brain. Some tumors can be removed successfully and not grow back, however, there are some types that can be successfully removed but can grow back. Radiation/Chemo is used to slow down the growth.
  18. That's weird. They just got their halfpipe last year too.
  19. On the topic of PGA, what's this about Top Gun being haunted? I know some trespasser got kicked in the head by a trainload of passengers when he went to retrieve his hat or something. On the humorous side of things when I was hearing of PGA being haunted, my friend and I were making new names for the rides/attractions such as Top Gun: The Jet Ghoster, Invertighost, Boo!-merang Bay, etc. I wonder if the Top Gun incident as well as the dropzone incident would have anything to do with PGA's hauntings that was discovered.
  20. I did this a while back and my result was also an Intamin as well...I had Millenium Force. Well, my favorite color is blue so it would kinda make sense.
  21. Hmm...didn't quite get me...but my cousin that was spectating had different results.
  22. hgjujugf Huge ginormous joker underpants just united girlfriends. gdfewrrew
  23. RCT3. Please specify what it's for in your topic next time, like this: "[RCT3] A few random roller coasters" and also, screenshots always will cause users to have more interest in downloading something..kinda like seeing something before you actually buy it.
