  1. Just when I thought this project couldn't get any better, it does. Seriously, I'm looking more and more forward to Skyplex with each announcement that's made. Surprised to see that S&S has nothing to do with the project, but have nothing against Intamin building the coaster. I wonder what the future announcements will reveal...
  2. In the U.S: Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Holiday World, SFMM, SFOT In Europe: Europa Park, Alton Towers, PortAventura, Mirabilandia, Thorpe Park, Grona Lund, Liseberg (I've never been to Europe). Everwhere else: Tokyo Disneyland/Disneysea, Universal Japan, Ferrari World.
  3. I wonder how they're going to theme an entire park to Hello Kitty... but it should be interesting to see how it turns out. China really does love that little cat.
  4. The "Liquid Lobster" seems equally intriguing. All the food options on the ship seem excellent, and Jamie's looks especially delicious. Love the look and feel of the ship!
  5. Having been on both El Toro and Phoenix, I'd have to say that Phoenix barely edges out El Toro in the airtime category. Almost 30 years old and still packing killer airtime!
  6. I had no idea that these rides existed outside of RCT 3! The train with the both forward and backward facing cars was bizarre to say the least. Only Russians could dream of something like this.
  7. This is exactly what I was thinking! Must've been nerve wracking for anyone watching, on the ship and off. I always enjoy the cruise ship reports. Always amazing to see the amount of activities that can be crammed on ship.
  8. I didn't think I'd see anything this week more frightening than Orlando's Polercoaster... but this may just do it.
  9. It is amazing to see how much the amusement industry advances and improves each year. I was intrigued by the SFX coaster, as it looks incredible. Too bad I won't be heading to Dubai anytime soon!
  10. The Twisted Colossus train looks incredible! I really enjoy following along with this event. Keep the updates coming!
  11. I think that it's a rather interesting theme for a shooting dark ride. However it's definitely something new and unique, and I'm curious to see how the ride turns out. I'm VERY happy to see Cedar Fair continuing to add more dark rides to their parks.
  12. I'd definitely ride this over trick-or-treating! Very cool to see.
  13. I probably stared at that diagram for 20 minutes... it's incredible how this ride works. I've always wanted to know how my favorite Disney ride functions. Thanks for this
  14. Disney all the way! Although I enjoy the thrills that Cedar Point offers, it cannot be compared to the theming, operations, and quality that Disney World has.
  15. The concept for the Boathouse is very cool. It will be interesting to see how Disney Springs will come together, and these two restaurants seem to be a great additions.
  16. Although I'm sad to see the hat go, it's very interesting to see what they're going to do with the Backlot area, especially since they've now closed the Jack Sparrow attraction. The wait to find out will be agonizing.
  17. Since there are a lot of inversions I like, I'll try to shorten the list to only three. -The only flying coaster I've been on is Superman UF, but I absolutely love the pretzel loop on that ride. I can't even imagine how insane Tatsu's must be. -Zero-G rolls are always awesome, and I especially love Bizzaro's at SFGAdv. -Finally, I am a sucker for good old fashioned vertical loops, especially huge ones. Dominator's loop happens to be my absolute favorite.
  18. Loved playing this game! I got a score of 900, 800, and 800 again. Luckily I didn't get any knock-off SLC's
  19. Two new additions to my top ten this year, being Phoenix and Phantom's Revenge. 1. Skyrush 2. El Toro (SFGAdv) 3. Intimidator 305 4. Phoenix 5. Millenium Force 6. Maverick 7. Phantom's Revenge 8. Apollo's Chariot 9. Nitro 10. Raptor
  20. Oh my god... that immelman... the horror... I would usually ride any coaster I come across but this one looks like an exception.
  21. Phantom's Revenge surprised me when I first rode it. The air-time on that ride is ridiculous! I think it's one of the most underrated coasters out there, and definitely gets my vote.
  22. I am most excited for Wicked Cyclone. Looks like it could be one hell of a ride. However, I am most intrigued by Cannibal. An in-house hyper coaster with a beyond vertical drop and inversions? It doesn't even sound plausible. I probably won't be able to ride it anytime soon, but I'm very excited to see how that ride turns out.
  23. I visited two new parks this year (Knoebels and Kennywood), but alas neither park had new for 2014 coasters. I would love to try out Lightning Run, as that seems to be the surprise hit of the year. If the airtime is even half as good as everyone says it is, then it seems like it could be a top 10 coaster for me. Overall, I think it was a strong coaster year. Hopefully 2015 will be too!
  24. In the Expedition Everest video, when entering the last part of the mountain, Rob says, "Where is the Yeti? You can barely see him but he's there!" This line still makes me laugh to this day.
  25. Great report! The Knotts Halloween event is something I've always wanted to go to, and it looks great this year as always! The Infected haunt looks very cool. And did I see boysenberry meatballs???
