I've been reading through this thread for a while now, and enjoyed every second of it. It's amazing to see a place like this. Amusement parks today need more dark rides like these.

My first was Great Bear at Hershey, and my last (so far) was Gatekeeper.

I really wish they will do something new with the ride and not just retheme it and keep the original ride system. I will remain hopeful for now. Either way, this will be an improvement over Maelstrom. I never recall that ride ever having a line.

I really don't know where to start... what I'm most shocked about is that Intimidator 232 is on the top ten list when I305 is nowhere to be seen. Flying Turns is certainly a very unique attraction, but I would not at all consider it to be the best new attraction. It's amazing to see how screwed up this poll is each year.

This coaster seems so bizarre... But in an awesome way! I cannot wait to see this thing built. A 200+ beyond vertical drop sounds absolutely nuts.

Whatever the replacement is, it almost HAS to improve upon the current Mantis, even if it's as simple as non-stand up trains and a new paint job. Excited to see what they'll come up with!

Phoenix at night... words cannot describe

This ride has a lot of things going for it. It does look very impressive, from the color scheme to the tunnel under the new front gate to those sexy high speed turns. It will definitely be a hit with the GP, and is a great addition to the park. If Leviathon and Behemoth can work in CW, then this combo will work in Carowinds too. I feel like it's too early to criticize the ride, as it was just announced today and there's only pictures and video animations to go off of, with the only thing I may critique being the name... I'm happy whenever a new giga-coaster is constructed, as they all produce fantastic rides. Good job Carowinds! Looking forward to trying Fury out someday.

Hello TPR members! I've finally decided to make an account on TPR after years of browsing the forums. My home park is wonderful Adventureland in Farmingdale, New York, and I try to visit Six Flags Great Adventure at least once a year. I have been to parks all over the East Coast, and Knoebels takes the cake as my favorite. Can't wait to get more involved on Theme Park Review!
