Excellent TP, I'm just curious, when did SF think it was a good idea to put their front line employees in those loud neon green shirts?? Those things are obnoxious...

Like I said in a similar topic, TRC @ NYNY will hurt you bad, no matter if your 8 or 80. I had a massive headache, shoulder pain and bruising a few days after I rode the thing. Speed is a different story, as its a pretty decent ride...

Just some advice: Avoid TRC at NYNY, or as I call it, The Togo Spinebuster Deluxe 5000. The thing left me with neck pain, shoulder bruising and a bad headache that lasted for two days afterward.

DAMN! Im a fan of the UK-style festival, as everyone leaves the stiff upper lip at home and has a good time. The only thing ive found to compare here in the states is Bonnaroo, Im hoping to make it there (glastonbery) someday, as it seems you brits seem to get it when it comes to outdoor festvals (GB, Creamfields, V Fest, ect..)

Elissa and Red Rugs....something slightly erotic about that LOL.

Ive discovered Greying out can occure no matter what car your in. It mainly has to deal with how much G your pulling in said ride. For example, I start grey/blacking in tight corners, such as Goliath/Titan, but taking hills dont seem to phase me. I think its like others have said, its the way your body is built and how you treat it.

"Lazer" becomes the first IKEA coaster

Perhaps Zee Germans demanded this, as they are the same wily bunch who gave us WW2, industrial music and Shamwow. Ich Wunderbar! -

Did the coaster come packed flat and was it assembled with one of those small hex tools?? Ok, it was going to be said, so I just took care of the obligatory IKEA joke -

Its always better to either buy them as a three day or along the lines of a SoCal Citypass, which gives you three day hopping, as well as grants admission to other parks (Universal, Legoland, ect..)

Ive always found the weekdays (esp. earlier in the week) are the best time to visit a SF park, especially in the summer. Mon-Wed are usually the days people will bring daycare/MDO/youth groups to the park, most will be out of there by 2-3pm, with the rest of the afternoon free to ride without many lines.

Im a fan of the mexican coke/pepsi, as it has a "cleaner taste" and less "drymouth", which is something HFCS produces. The concept of a corn sweetner isnt a bad idea, its how HFCS is made that causes most of the controversy.

Took them 14 years, but they got the recognition they deserved...

This is why I only go during the week and at opening during the summer, staying until noon-1pm or going later in the day (after 6)

From what I understand, as I have a friend who worked there until 2007, most of the development for the DN4 project was all tech-demo based playing w/ the unreal engine. Not until the last year have they actually had something playable, alot of the dev money was going to various outings and not focusing on product. He got fed up with that and the pace of the project and moved to another company down in austin, where he's working on a new MMOG.
-
Same w/ us and Cash Control at SFoT, people wanted to work w/ us there as it had A/C and no obnoxious guests on those humid D/FW 100 degree day.

Im looking forward to A Boy And His Robb...er..Blob, as my Wii needs some love. Seeing 3D Realms took a nosedive yesterday(hint hint: pick up Duke Forever on the cheap ), its good to see some success w/ the more indie game companies out there. Im curious if there will be obvious reference to dan, elisa or jewie in your upcoming title??
-
From the looks of it, 3d Realms is no more and a couple buddies of mine are prolly out of work... http://www.gamespot.com/news/6209271.html?tag=latestheadlines;title;5 So that begs the question, will we ever see Duke Nuke'em Forever?

From what I understand of Flay, he basically doesnt get involved in his restaurants much anymore, most of its licensing/consulting. Im guessing Food Network pays him too much to be an ass on TV. Unlike Emeril, who actually makes a point to visit his restaurants on a regular basis in between doing Emeril Green and other projects.
