  1. A Jack Bauer-themed roller coaster could work, maybe have a chloe-lookalike running the control board... All kidding aside, a 24 hr theme park would cause alot of logisitical issues when it comes to employment, traffic, noise, ect...If ya thought it was bad theres "scream tubes" on the rides at DL/DCA/KBF now (due to the anaheimians complaining about "noise"), try running those parks 24/7, there would be a freaking springfield-sized dome on the places to keep everyone happy....
  2. Prepay supposedly saves you money. From my experience, its all about the same when it comes to total cost at the end of the day. Heres a question for you martin, renting at the airport or off site?
  3. Ive met a few ACErs in my time, not all of them enjoy fried crust bathed in brown gravy and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. But, I have to agree about their perceived "knowledge" at times and its annoyance with the typical journeyman who rides coasters for fun It is true, man cannot live by acceleration knowledge alone. Its the same with those indie hipster d-bag music nerds you see at cochella or SXSW, who push their perceived "Coolness" and "Knowledge" and make you feel bad for not know a band they discovered browsing on myspace. I came to TPR for the fact that the D-Bag count is very low, and robby robb keeps people like that off of here.
  4. That was a real knee slapper CFC *rim shot* The UFC Shemale..I cant tell man, looks like a man, baby.... BTW, excellent report ASL, gives me a small preview what i'll be doing this fall, not to mention your mrs is pretty good looking herself Im also in agreement on the Ed Hardy fad...its annoying to see some hipster d-bag who spent 70-100 bucks on a shirt/ball cap that represents something they want, but are too chicken-s to do accordingly. I say get the skin art and go with it...
  5. Like everyone else in this economy, they're hurting for money and the banks are holding on to their money likes meisers. Like SF, I see them selling off their side properties and focusing on their main money makers (Cedar Point, KBF) and sheding the other parks that are draining resources...
  6. Im going with the D23 guess as well, Seeing that this is the new feather in Disneys cap, not to mention boy and his blob robb is a Disney Alumni, elissa and he have been married in the park, some rumor kidtums got her start there and he has press cred with parks around the world. Im going to take a shot and say they called you to one of the regional offices, probably somewhere in the midwest, to show you some of the d23 product ahead of time...that or robby robb is on a personal press tour for B&HB and decided to let Jewie come along for Shinzngiggles..
  7. Terrance, you're wrong on so many levels about that man LOL....
  8. Congrats on your new product Robb. I'm curious, Is this a dan-approved due to the Jelly Bean angle? Ok, someone was going to say it eventually, so I did it!! Anywho man, Thank you for remaking one of the better titles for the original NES!!!
  9. Laughing my ass off once again...Can I buy some of that pot your smoking, it seems to make thing much better....
  10. Joey, John Freaking Lovitz..thats pretty kickass man...I also enjoyed the TR as well, pretty dang cool..
  11. Did they at least use protection? Thats the important part. No Glove, No Love...
  12. Octopus Ball Mascots, Perverted Park Furries and Sam Cassel...nothing but greatness...Wes, is there any room on the planet you live on for anyone else, because I sure could use a change of atmosphere man...
  13. Wes, Another great TR man! I kind of felt bad for the seal in the first section of the TR, looking all bloated and sad..But then I saw the Japanese Chick in a short skirt and that made me get happyface...
  14. WOW..alot of cock-punching in that video...Good TR elsewise..
  15. Robby, I was having a laugh with the comments, I just think sometimes we take these things too seriously and get caught up in it, but thats why I like this board, everyone gets a say and we respect each other. BTW, I should get you on my show man...im looking at putting together my Best Of Summer 2009 and I wouldnt mind getting you on...drop me a PM if you're interested...
  16. Game, Set, Match. I agree you have a choice, but when the cost breakdown comes close to Disney when you add the flash pager, id rather just see them set it up for free similar to fastpass. Hell, you can make money off of that via advertising (ex: free ice cream at johnny rockets w/ purchase coupon).
  17. Trojan, I owe you a fancy seafood dinner for that retort...unlike dorothy mantooth, id call ya back LOL
  18. They say there will be a 'Discount' I asked around yesterday and nobody seems to know how much they will be discounted. Given last year they said you'd get into Fright Fest for free and that didn't happen (I'm actually surprised they got away with that) I wouldn't hold your breath hoping for anything amazing. I used to get the "gold/extreme" pass, just wasnt worth the extra money to me at my home park (SFoT). Plus, you're not the only one ive heard this situation from.
  19. I agree its free market, but that doesnt mean I have to agree with it or use the product . I guess I come from the school of thought that if im going to spend the money to go to a park or pay for a season pass, I should have that included in the cost of purchase price, like w/ fastpass at the Disney Parks. I know "the Flags" been hard-up for cash, but bilking someone an additional fee to get "cut-sies" makes bad business sense, especially in this economic client. BTW Peepaw Jeff, Ive been called worse LOL
  20. Call me Old Man Jeff Johnson , but ive never been a big fan of paying for a system that lets you essentaly "cut in line". The way I see it, if your going to offer the product, take a page from the "House Of Mouse" and offer it as a guest service, instead of carrying around an overglorfied pager.
  21. Themepark Rent-A-Cops are pretty much failed cops who couldnt cut it on a real police force, so they get a job at Six Flags...
  22. I'm not a fan of three things at theme parks: A) 400 pounders trying to squeeze into a coaster/ride seat, then complaing theres not enough room or not being able to ride due to weight issues on the coaster. Just some advice fatty: you only get to gripe when you drop the turkey leg, churro and the weight. B) The Church Youth Group full of little soul-savers who have a dirtier mouth than mine and have sponsors (i.e. parents, college students,ect..)showing off more clevage and leg than my wife , then get bent out of shape for calling them out as hypocrities. They have a special circle of hell designated for pissants like them. C) Large Tourist Groups, especially from the latin countries, who all wear matching shirts and move in the same herd. The same ones who push you out of the way because you have the audacity of wanting to get into the same ride line at the same point they do....and they say Americans are ugly in other countries...
  23. ^^ Kosher I hope, as everything in ramen is either pork laden or has shellfish
