  1. I've made Peanut Butter Burgers a couple times, they aren't bad!
  2. Absolutely, those things suck. This is the only flat ride I've ever hated.
  3. I expect people to spell things correctly. I'm always disappointed.
  4. Ok, so I was doing some searching yesterday and came across this thread. It was then I realized, I hadn't finished it yet! So, to start off, sorry everyone! Day 4, Part 1: Harley Davidson Museum To start off the day, we went to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. My Dad is obsessed with Harley Davidson, so when I first proposed this trip, he insisted that we stop and check it out. I'm not super interested in motorcycles, but it was still fairly interesting. I'd say that if someone was interested in motorcycles, I would recommend this place to them. It was a really nice building and highly informative. I will say, I don't have many photos, as the dark museum caused most of them to not turn out well. Anyway, onto photos: We've arrived! This place is absolutely gigantic. And the first exhibit Not really. We were not allowed in the exclusive cage-free zone. So, this place has TONS of bikes. This here is the oldest Harley Davidson Motorcycle in existence. Here's the sign full of info, if you're interested. This blue trike is one of the many trikes in the museum This sidecar looks like a boat. Hey Cedar Point Thread, it's a boat. "Help Stop Out Walking". A worthy cause. Someone was good at customization and had way to much time on their hands. This thing is huge. I'm super scary metal monster! FEAR ME! Next up, Bay Beach Amusement Park!
  5. Travel baseball tournaments are huge. Here in Columbus we have a complex with almost 40 fields and they almost have every field taken for big tournaments(softball and baseball). Eleven fields is not that much. Wow! I had no idea that these things were so big. I suppose that it is brilliant to have one of these sports complexes. There must be tons of people coming to see these things, and seeing the park while seeing the game must be really tempting.
  6. Well. I didn't see that coming. I am definetely not in the target audience for this, but I'm sure that the people who enjoy this type of stuff will love it. That said, I can't seem to figure out why they would need 11 baseball fields.
  7. They addressed this in their most recent blog post
  8. Wow, that's awesome, Kristin! Let's hope Ellen takes note of that letter.
  9. High Roller - Valleyfair
  10. Apparently it's the Title Fairy's birthday today! Happy 86th birthday!
  11. ^I'm with you on that one. Nickelodeon Universe's Log Flume is awesome. I'm very glad that it wasn't changed in the switch to Nickelodeon, keeping the old Paul Bunyan theme. My favorite part is how I don't really get wet on it. Some water gets on you, as it is a water ride, but you're normally dry after a couple minutes, which I love (And that means that the other seats on rides aren't wet either, which is a big plus!).
  12. Not to backseat moderate, but use this thread: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=407 Try re-wording your search a couple times so that you don't miss anything. When I searched the title of this thread, another thread just like this one was the first result.
  13. This is kinda old news, but we've lost another set of buzz bars. High Roller at Valleyfair is going under a renovation which includes new trains, which means new lap bars. Individual ratcheting lap bars.
  14. Apparently not. All I can find is Early Entry to the waterpark.
  15. I get to go see Peter Mayer in May! He plays folk music, and is probably the best guitarist I've heard.
  16. I'm hoping that it turns out to be a tunnel that they just haven't told us about, and wasn't in the rendering!! (What??? One can hope!!) I actually think that that's what's going to come of this. They've already built two walls, might as well give it a roof, right?
  17. Coasterbill, that is hilarious. Thanks for the read.
  18. Do you want resorts and just normal parks seperated, or are you using "Resorts" as a broad term to describe all parks? As Larry said, this exists on a lot of different coaster sites, are you sure you want to go through all of the work in creating this map if it already exists?
  19. This is actually a very common belief for Steel Venom. The LIMs sound so much like screams. (Heck, I used to think that when I first heard it, and didn't know what an LiM was. Are there really fake owls in the loading area? I haven't seen any before, however, I never really looked, either.
  20. 43 days until opening day. It can't come soon enough. (38 until the season passholder preview )
  21. Actually, I believe that Silverwood allowed RMC to test their Topper track on a section of a coaster. I believe that they also constructed Aftershock. I remember watching a video, but forgot where it is. It's all just random speculation at this point. I'd love to see an RMC at Silverwood, it's just that there is no strong evidence to support it. All there is at this point is that they're doing something, but with land clearing, you can't pin down an exact manufacturer and product.
  22. We need some pictures of that dirt so that we can analyze whether it's RMC dirt, or if it's a different kind of dirt. This is the real deal, I tell you. RMC Confimed! I would really take this with a grain of salt. The poster is basically saying that if a coaster company is near a park, then it's a no-brainer for a park to purchase something from them. Well, I don't see Knoebel's GCI yet, so I'd say that this logic is flawed. Could it happen? Maybe. Do we have suffecient evidence to say they're getting an RMC (Until we see pictures of that dirt)? Absolutely not.
  23. Exactly why I hate people. Just spend a few minutes reading our Facebook page and keep in mind I weed out the worst of them and it's still crap. "People" *sigh*
  24. I'm not sure, the whole aquatrax thing has lasted for about 10 years on this site. Who knows how long the legacy of the boat will last. Some may wish for an end, but I think it will still be mentioned in future years, just less frequently. The boat will inevitably live on.
