Euro Madness 2016 - Photo TR

I'm really liking this report! Looking forward to more! Pulsar looks like tons of fun, and this is coming from a person that almost never rides water rides with huge splashes. That's one that would be hard to pass up. -
I went to this place on a Tuesday in early June last year, and I wasn't able to re-ride anything. I got on all the big coasters (Except the mouse, because I just didn't want to wait an hour for a mouse). As with most parks, I'm sure that they're a lot busier in July/August than in early June. This place pulls just ridiculously long waits (Hour long waits aren't uncommon, and are actually the norm on several rides). If you can swing it, I would highly recommend getting Flash Pass, you won't regret it. Especially if you want re-rides As others have mentioned, make a list of what you want to do, if you can't get Flash Pass. We were VERY lucky to get on all the major coasters (Didn't have time for any major flats). Operations are pretty terrible here, so not only are the lines long, they don't move (Superman, we thought they were only running one train because they were dispatching so slowly (They were running two)). Awesome rides, but their operations need help.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

We went to Cedar Point a couple weeks ago, and while we were queuing for a ride, I'm pretty sure we overheard, "Does this ride go upside down". Now, this is a perfectly legitimate question for some of CP's rides, but we were in line for the CP and LE Railroad. Someone was wondering if the train went through an inversion. Also, from he comments section of -

So, I'm visiting the park in a couple weeks, and I'm wondering what the best way to ride Dragon in order to not be in loads of pain during and after the ride. I've heard so many bad things about the ride, I just have to ask if there is anyway to improve the experience (Or I might just skip it). -
Wildfire, although both look fantastic, Wildfire looks like a special kind of crazy. B&M Vest Restraints or the old B&M Restraints?

Unfortunately, no it is not. Ok, thanks. I suppose not enough people were taking advantage of it for it to be worth it. -

Hey guys, if early entry still a thing for season passholders here? I can't find anything on the website about it. -

I'm assuming that you get Early Entry (Don't Cedar Fair employees get Platinum Passes?), so I'm going to say get to the Marina entrance about 15 minutes before early entry. You'll be able to walk right up to Valravn with minimal wait. After that, you can head over to Millennium or Maverick (Or both) before early entry is done, and then you can do Dragster with minimal wait. We did this every day we were at the park last week, and it worked spectacularly. Raptor pulls super long waits during the day, so wait until the afternoon before you go on that, we were able to walk right into the station every time we tried to get on it. Same deal with Gatekeeper. Also, the Cedar Point App is extremely useful, the wait times aren't far off (Except Gatekeeper's, where it normally said it was a 15-20 minute wait, but we were able to go right up to the station (Longest we waited was halfway down the stairs to the station)). It also lets you know when rides break down, which saved us a lot of walking. -
We got some Maple Syrup cheese while we were driving through Wisconsin, and it's great (Even though it sounds like it would taste really weird). We went to the Mousehouse in Windsor, WI and the number of cheeses available is overwhelming. Wisconsin is fantastic

I think that you just take the difference between the gold price and the Platinum price. -

It appears that I'm in the minority because I think that the vest restraints are some of the most comfortable OTSRs I've been in (I say one of, because Intamin's new restraints (Maverick, I305) are insanely comfortable). For me, they fit just right and they don't feel uncomfortable at all, and I really like that there isn't anything that I could possibly hit my head on. -
To his credit, fog is a type of cloud, but yeah, I don't think he was talking about fog.

Silver Bullet Stuck Like a Duck

I'm without words. I have always thought that it would be kinda cool to be evacuated from a coaster on a lift hill or brake run, but I would not want to be in the front car of that one. Yikes. -

I think it would be a terrible idea to put it on Corkscrew (Or other notoriously rough coasters) because you wouldn't be able to see what's coming and brace for it. -

Easily one of the best things on this forum, I always think its hilarious I guess because I know them all now. I vote for MOAR WORD FILTERS !! AGREED! The word filters on this site are great. -
Could you just quote it? The link isn't working for me.

The other way around is worse in my opinion. Over-crowded stations still move people through quickly, but with assigned seating and 1 car per row, if the assigner is slow, there will be empty rows. It happens all the time at Canada's Wonderland on behemoth and leviathan, cause every other person is asking to go to this row and the ride attendant has to say no. What I'm bothered by, is when I can't even walk to get over to the row I'm going to. That's when it starts to get on my nerves.

For me, Magnum was one of the biggest let downs. I really wanted to like it, and I loved first half of the ride and the airtime on the return trip, but any part of the bunny hills going back where you weren't in the air was terrible (By the way, I sat in Car one, row three and I had my seatbelt tightened to the point where I didn't even hit the lap bar at any time of the ride (Lap bar wasn't a problem for me)).
