  1. Daredevil Dive operations are awful now with the VR, I always thought they were decent before considering the already low capacity. I haven't been since April, but apparently accoroding to what I've heard Mindbender is back to two trains, so that should help it's capacity. As for the other rides their operations were about standard to what SFOG is used to, Scorcher is still painfully slow, but honestly I think that's more of a GP issue, you'd think after 17 years they would comprehend the fact that you have to actually stand on a stand up coaster, but we all know how that goes.
  2. It seems like since they've moved to just one train that Scorcher gets the advertisements now. Ninja used to also have them as well.
  3. Yes, Although it's nowhere neared as themed as Barman. I believe it was painted green in 1997 when Batman opened. Also, it has the question marks on the train, but they're usually covered up with ad wraps.
  4. Could our Six Flags ever get Holiday In The Park? I don't see why not, St.Louis has to be warmer than Great Adventure and they're getting one.
  5. Honestly I love Cyclone the way it is, I love the Boss as well, but with the length of the Boss, I would say it would benefit more from an Iron Horse than Cyclone would. Not to mention we have an outstanding collection compared to St.Louis already, they could use a headline attraction.
  6. When I had it, I thought it was humorous how many people got absolutely set off by my wristband. Ninja had a 2 hour line, and after my first ride, when the gates opened and I stayed the woman who was next in line started screaming at me and actually ended up kicking me rather violently once I was locked in my seat. At that point she left the ride still having some weird ghetto adult temper tantrum. Jokes on her because she stood in line for 2 hours just to leave when she was next in line. Jesus, a two hour wait for Ninja?? I would have hated to see the lines for all the other rides then.
  7. I did notice they had to keep locking and unlocking restraints most of the time to get people to stand correctly. I guess I'm just used to my home park, where on Riddler they don't care if you sit or stand they just dispatch the trains It also doesn't help that Scrocher is a really short ride as well, Riddler is probably the only stand up that you could actually lock and unlock the restrains more than once and still dispatch in a timely manner due to length.
  8. In defense of the GA Scorcher crew, it's usually the guest that hold up the line more than anything, you would think after 16 years, the locals would learn how to properly stand, but that would be using common sense, and God forbid people do that.
  9. I've been on 3 of the 4 U.S wingriders [ XFlight, Wild Eagle & Thunderbird] and it seems like they finally got the vest situation right with Thunderbird. Wild Eagle & X-Flight weren't bad by any means, but in the brake run they really tighten and it's a tad uncomfortable.
  10. Since when was SFOT the flagship park? I've always assumed it was SFMM. TBH the Frisbee addition is amazing and I hope they add it to other parks as well. The other two flats are great as well. I think a lot of people consider SFOT the flagship park, because it's the original Six Flags Park. SFMM and SFGADv IMO are and always will be the flagship parks. Back in the day, the three original parks were built to be the best, but at the same time there were only those three in the world. It's also a far different management and owner now. SFStL, the last of the trio to be built, was designed to become the flagship park - and that didn't happen. SFOG today is a gem, but its not crazy popular like SFMM / SFOG. And just look at the rides at those two parks, and then youll understand why SFOG and the rest (current) are not the flagship parks today. SFMM and SFGADV are also both included in the two biggest metro areas of the USA [ LA & NYC] so I guess it would make sense for them to get the bigger investments.
  11. I've never ridden Bizzaro, but I've ridden Scream, and honestly I loved it. I think they both suffer from the fact that they're both in parks with so many great coasters, if you stuck Scream or Bizzaro in a park like SFSTL you'd have a monster hit on your hand.
  12. This doesn't really make sense to me. As someone who visits SFOG frequently, I would say we have been one of the luckiest parks in the chain. In the past 5 years we have received: 1. A brand new custom Eurofighter, which is the only one in the chain. 2. A 242 foot tall Sky Screamer 3. Hurricane Harbor. While small this is only phase one and it is still a huge addition, and by far the nicest looking HH in the chain. 4. Unlike the other parks in the chain, we got a Super Loop AND a customized Tilt-a-Whirl, both of which are the most attractive in the chain. SFOG's Gotham City is now by far the most appealing in the chain as well. 5. Most of the buildings throughout the park have been repainted, further making it the nicest looking park in the chain. 6. The addition of Holiday In The Park, which extends the operating season through early January and will include the entire park and all dry rides this year. I went to this a few days after Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas and thought it would be a joke but it was actually amazing. 7. And now a huge kid's area renovation and expansion with many new rides including adult friendly rides (flyers and a 65 foot drop tower). I'm not sure how any of that is weird or why you would think SFStL is lucky to not have all the great investments SFOG has had. I have been to both parks and while I enjoyed SFStL, the park is a bit of a mess in pretty much every department. Not to mention we have one of the most well regarded B&M Stand Ups and B&M Hypers as well
  13. I can't wait to get out to Fiesta Texas because I love SFOG and have been slightly disappointed by every other park in the chain I've been to by comparison. Which other ones have you been to?? I've been to SFMM, SFSTL, SFGAM and I agree, they definitely don't have the charm that Georgia has, although they all do have pretty good collections of coasters.
  14. I actually think this is a great idea for the park.SFOG already has an amazing line up we have the chain's only eurofighter, one of the most well regarded B&M Stand Up, Ditto for the Hyper, MINDBENDER, Batman, while a clone still hauls ass, A flyer, A beautifully placed out & back, The water park is decent for it being so new, and while I thin we already have a decent kids area, the remodel plus new rides will be a hit I think.

  17. Ohhhhhh yeah. When I went last month Boomerang and JL:BFM had like equivalent lines I don't see what the general public sees in that ride honestly I mean there has to be some word of mouth of how painful and unenjoyable it is wouldn't you think? Boomerangs also have horrible capacity, plus while they suck I do have to say for a regular gp viewpoint, Boomerangs are rather neat looking.
  18. I though the only thing that went from park to park with Mantab was the chaisait (sp) I though each parked used the trains they already had.
  19. I'm just curious when did SFOG get yellow batman trains?? I thought only Great Amerieca, Adventure and Texas had them??
  20. Carolina rolls off the tongue nicely when it comes to Cyclone and Cobra, but it's a little much on the others I agree.
  21. Goliath is an extremly short ride though, and when I was there last year they kept having problems with the restrains, it's not like they weren't trying.
  22. There are four RMC coasters already on the books for 2017, hopefully SFOG is one of them!!! I would love an RMC, but a custom one, I love Cyclone as it is.
  23. So I'm thinking about doing that KD & BG one day combo ticket deal they have this summer, do I buy it at the park, or since it's a special deal, do I have to buy it elsewhere??
  24. As many time as I've ridden Mine Train I've never been lucky to have that happen, I've always wanted to be on it when a boat splashed down.
